Luke Littler stormed through to his 3rd consecutive World Championship semi-final after a whitewash victory over Krzysztof Ratajski. The world number one has now averaged over 100 in four of his five matches in this tournament and is odds on to lift the Sid Waddell Trophy for a second time.

Ryan Searle lost his first set of the tournament during his 5-2 victory over Jonny Clayton. Searle got away with it at times, with the Welshman missing multiple opportunities at doubles, but his clutch finishing saw him get over the line to reach his first World Championship semi-final.

It looks like a daunting task trying to beat Luke Littler on the Ally Pally stage, but it's not impossible. Searle is a classy operator, and the pace of the match will suit both players. I can't see past a Littler victory, but I can see Searle being competitive enough to win at least 3 sets, especially as he has a finishing rate of 52.68% over the tournament.

Luke Littler, of course, loves reeling in the big fish, but he's also a fantastic bull finisher in general, so 2+ bull finishes look like a steal.

Gian van Veen has been mesmerising at times in this tournament, and showed how much he has improved when he dispatched Luke Humphries 5-1 in the quarter-final. The Dutchman has been dominant, losing just a single set in each of his five matches to get to this stage.

The European Champion became the new Dutch number one after his victory last night and has now guaranteed a Premier League debut, rising to number three in the world rankings.

Gary Anderson continues to roll back the years, reaching his 8th PDC World Championship semi-final after a 5-2 victory over Justin Hood. The Scot was made to work hard early on as Hood stayed right with him, but Anderson pulled clear in style, completely taking control of the final three sets and producing huge averages of 104, 112, and 107 to wrap up an impressive win.

This is a tough match to predict, but I can guarantee it will be a 180 fest. These two are both huge scorers and have hit 82 maximums between them in this tournament. If it goes the distance, like I think it will, we could see a record amount of maximums in a semi-final at the World Championship.
