Below, we have picked out five betting tips for the game, listing where you can find the best odds for said bets and why they might be worth a punt.
As much as we have followed the previous lineups, and any predicted changes, we would advise you wait until the lineups are announced.
Whilst this game will display some of the best attackers in World Football, let alone European Football, it also displays some of the best defenders. As collective units, the French and Portuguese have been fantastic this tournament, and this is why I like the look of 2 or less goals.

In three games, Mbappe has a goal and no assists, of course, there can be excuses made, or maybe more fairly put, reasoning. Two of those game are when he has had to adjust to his face mask, and the other was a quiet game from him, before he came off injured with a broken nose.
However, he has proved his ability to provide in the biggest games, and this is one of them, and a chance to knock his footballing idol out of the tournament is as bigger game as they come.

60% of Portugal games 6 SOT, 60% of France games over 9.5 SOT / 70% for Port
In 60% of France's recent games, there has been more than 9.5 shots on target, and in Portugal's this number increases to 70%, which already seems like excellent value. Given the magnitude of this game, I expect there to be a lot of shots, maybe from range, which means this could be a fantastic bit of value at a great price.

In the first game, Vitinha was a man possessed, and had two shots on target, both from distance, and this came at the time where the Selecao were under the most pressure, late in the game with seemingly no way through.
During this game, space will be limited in the box, and I think there could be a few chances for a pop shot from the edge of the box, and Vitinha will be given the space to do so given the freedom in his position alongside Joao Palhinha.

At 6/1 with QuinnBet, this value is incredible. Jules Kounde will play across two areas of the pitch, at right-back and as a right-sided central-defender if/when Theo Hernandez attacks up the field. With this in mind, he will face against Rafael Leao, who has drawn just over 2 fouls per game, and I think he could create a lot of danger for Kounde, which we are looking to target with this selection.

This is very much a 'baton' game, whichever outcome is reached, a story will be made. Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe, the two stars of Real Madrid, albeit one is the past, and one is the future.
The Frenchman idolised Ronaldo, and the Portuguese star is an admirer of the striker who is now aiming to create a legacy similar to what the former did. Friday night is his chance to start creating his legacy, or perhaps, Ronaldo proves he still can provide in the biggest moments.
As we know, this is Cristiano Ronaldo's last ever European Championship, understandable, yes, but it goes much deeper than this. The Portuguese star is truly in his 'swan song', he's ready to leave the big stage, if he has not already, and this tournament will be his final chance to earn a crowning moment.
Whether there is a successor within the Portugal team seems unlikely, at least to the same level. However, this is a team of stars.
Portugal, perhaps, need to step away from Ronaldo, given he has been the focal point for years, and whilst there has been glimpses of quality around him, this is maybe one of the most complete teams in recent years.
A hungry team, who all have the traits that scream Portuguese football. Exciting, technical, physically and tactically strong, it has all the marks of being a team that will progress further in the years, but maybe they are being held back by their star.
Alternatively, there are questions whether they are being limited by their manager - Roberto Martinez. The Spaniard is most known for his time at Everton, but in recent years, he has taken to the international scene where he has faced extensive criticism.
Martinez was gifted the reigns of Belgium's Golden Era, and whilst they impressed in a few tournaments, and earned a third place finish at the 2018 World Cup, they did not fulfil their potential.
There have already been some fears about the same happening with a very talented Portugal squad, and while they have progressed to this point, there are already doubts about their abilities to take it from here, especially with the opposition awaiting them.
If you want to side with the past, you can back Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal to win at odds of 13/5 with most of the best sports bookmakers.
Predicted Portugal XI vs. France (4-2-3-1): Costa; Cancelo, Dias, Pepe, Mendes; Palhinha, Vitinha; Silva, Fernandes, Leao; Ronaldo
If Ronaldo is the past into the present, Kylian Mbappe is the present into the future. At 25-years-old, he has scored four less goals than the World Cup top goalscorer Miroslav Klose, but he has not yet reached the same pedigree in the European Championship.
Regardless of his goalscoring record at this tournament so far, he will cause several teams issues, and he has done in the two games he has properly played.
Of course, he is the star of this France team, but he is not the only fantastic player they have. Everywhere across the pitch, there are world-class players, Mike Maignan, William Saliba, Theo Hernandez, Ousmane Dembele.
The Blues entered this tournament as one of the favourites, and they will continue to be this way until they are eliminated, due to their extensive list of stars. Not only are they stars, but they are consistent. New players have entered the fold, but the core remains.
Players like Theo, Ngolo Kante, and Antoine Griezmann have been together in the squad for years, and they will only grow further. Each player has top-level experience, and whilst they have, perhaps, not been the top performers at the tournament so far, they are able to pull things out of the bag when required.
France's record is ridiculous over recent years at international level. Their squad is full of the best, that provides the moments in the big games. Now, the question is can they do it in this moment?
If you believe they can, you can back them at odds of 6/4 with most bookies, which could provide some excellent value.
Predicted France XI vs. Portugal (4-3-3): Maignan; Kounde, Saliba, Upamecano, Hernandez; Kante, Tchouameni; Dembele, Griezmann, Mbappe; Thuram
