Videoslots is a sportsbook and casino offering that has operated in the UK since 2014, securing its licence with the UK Gambling Commission under number 39380. With over a decade in the casino space and nearing five years in the sports market, it has plenty of experience and history to unpick. Our Videoslots review does exactly that.

Videoslots (UKGC: 39380) might not be a household name as a brand but the quality of their partnerships that support their sports and casino offering are sizeable names in the online gambling space and, altogether, the offering is really strong.
The sports coverage is excellent, albeit horse racing punters won’t agree with that a notable miss from an otherwise strong offering, with live streaming, extensive market depth and, at 5.22%, superb betting margins.
When you transition over the casino side, things get even stronger. The selection of games is vast and the navigation and filtering flawless.
With a decent choice of payment methods and withdrawal times of just over 10 minutes (as per our Visa test), the only downside of note is a couple of very minor quirks around the withdrawal terms, which we cover in detail in our ‘Videoslots Withdrawal Methods’ section.
Videoslots is regulated by the UK Gambling Commission under licence 39380 and has been in operation on these shores for over a decade. Indeed, their oldest licence dates back to November 2014. The company itself is a few years older, having been incorporated in Malta in 2011.
The sportsbook offering at Videoslots is supported by Altenar, a recognised brand in the sports betting space which also underpins offerings at Lottoland, Golden Palace and JustBet to name just a few of their other partners.
Videoslots also has sister sites in Mega Riches and Mr Vegas.
Videoslots Limited are registered under the UK Gambling Commission under licence number 39380. With their casino licence obtained back in 2014 and their Real Event licence secured in late 2020, they have been legally operating in the UK for a considerable period of time, meaning it is safe to use Videoslots.
Videoslots has a reasonable sample of reviews on Trustpilot, with close to 1,700 reviews at the time of writing. For it to come out with a 3.3 rating is a solid performance compared to some of the so-called big names in the online gambling space; operators such as bet365 and William Hill fall considerably short of such a rating, with their respective scores coming in a 1.3 out of five.
Despite the decent score, 56% of reviews still award it just the solitary star. A lot of these reviews centre around not winning on casino games, which will come down to pure luck, with Videoslots regulated by the UKGC and the games provided by reputable companies.
The other thing to note here is that 98% of negative reviews are replied to on Trustpilot with the detail of those replies regularly quite extensive to provide real context to the reviews.
Whilst Videoslots is fully regulated under the UK Gambling Commission, it does not have a clean bill of health where regulatory action is concerned. In June 2023, it was fined £2m for failures around anti-money laundering processes and “deficiencies in its responsible gambling controls”. This action was taken in respect of failings between October 2019 and February 2022.
For information on how Videoslots now handles its Responsible Gambling obligations, check out our section titled ‘Videoslots Responsible Gambling’.
The Videoslots payment section offers a strong choice to customers with methods including, but not limited to, Visa, Neteller, Skrill, Paypal, Trustly, Apple Pay and CashtoCode.
The vast majority of these payment methods meet the same deposit minimum and maximums, with a minimum deposit of £10 and a maximum of £1,000. Those benchmarks are in line with the lion’s share of the industry, even if many bookies now accept £5 deposits.

Depositing at Videoslots is straightforward; you can follow our step-by-step guide on how to deposit below:
If just registered, you will be defaulted to the cashier section of the Videoslots site. If you are just looking to deposit from an existing account, hit the main menu button (three horizontal stripes) in the top left corner.
This will open up a range of menu options. Scroll down until you find the ‘Account’ sub-heading and then locate the ‘Deposit’ option. Click it.
You will be presented with a range of payment methods in a grid format. Some contain logos, others did not render images correctly for us during our tests.
Regardless, you can click on each cell to see deposit information where minimum, maximums and fees are concerned along with some information on how quickly funds are expected to process; this level of transparency and clarity is excellent.
After reviewing, choose your preferred option by clicking on it.
After selecting your preferred deposit method, scroll down to expose the section where you have to input your payment details and required deposit amount.
Once done, hit ‘Deposit’.
You will then see a ‘Deposit Successful’ message appear.
As with the deposit methods, the choice of withdrawal method at Videoslots is good, albeit capped to methods you have deposited from in the past.
Another positive is in the timeliness. Our test, involving a Visa method, saw our withdrawal approved by support within five minutes and the funds landing back in our bank six minutes after. In other words, a total withdrawal time of 11 minutes; one of the fastest scores we have registered.
Unfortunately, there are a couple of negatives to note. Firstly, you can only make one free withdrawal per day. Subsequent withdrawals are chargeable at £2.50. Secondly, the minimum withdrawal amount of £20 is twice that of the minimum deposit amount; it’s not the end of the world but is an annoyance.
Payment Method | Min. Limit | Max. Limit | Transaction Fee | Processing Time |
---|---|---|---|---|
![]() Visa | £20 | £10,000 | No fee | 11 minutes in our test |
![]() Neteller | £20 | £10,000 | No fee (1 withdrawal per day) | Within 24 hours |

The Videoslots withdrawal process is explained step-by-step below:
Ensure you are logged into your Videoslots account. From here, go to the three horizontal lines in the top left corner; this opens your main menu.
Navigate down to the ‘Account’ section and hit ‘Withdraw’.
You will now be presented with your withdrawal options; these will be considerably fewer than the plethora of deposit methods because, typically, you can only withdraw to a method via which you have deposited in the first instance.
Click on your preferred method of withdrawal.
On clicking on your preferred withdrawal method, you will be presented with an overview of any fee involved as well as the minimum and maximum withdrawals amount eligible on that payment method.
For Visa, that is no fee with a minimum withdrawal of £20 and a maximum of £10,000. This is the standard across most withdrawal methods at Videoslots. Please note, the minimum withdrawal amount of £20 is higher than the minimum deposit amount.
Once happy with the detail you have input, hit withdraw.
You will then see a confirmation of your withdrawal.
The sportsbook at Videoslots is powered by Altenar; considering the size and experience Altenar have in the sports betting space, it is perhaps not surprising the offering available to punters is pretty strong.
From a pure coverage perspective, when you include e-sports and specials, there are close to 40 different sports to bet on, which is a good range. That spread includes headline sports like football and tennis, but also captures lesser-followed sports, such as lacrosse and padel. There is one enormous omission to the sportsbook though; there is no horse racing coverage.
Parking the lack of horse racing, the football coverage as a standout sport offers really good market depth. With Premier League matches, as an example, there are over 200 different betting markets alongside a bet builder tool and a live match engine and various. Most of these features are available on games from around the globe too.
The layout within the sportsbook is good too, with the operator offering a clean structure, good colour scheme and, importantly, giving the bettor some control over how different components of the site display. An example of this is whether to show different odds with sliders or in grid format with a toggle to change your view.
That just leaves the betting margins to touch on, which is critically important. Videoslots’ margins come in at 5.22% across our testing. That is incredibly good and up there with the best betting margins in the UK.

The name Videoslots might be an indication that it is first and foremost a casino offering with a sportsbook add-on. As you will see from our sportsbook review, that should mean a high bar where the casino is concerned and Videoslots certainly delivers on that front.
The offering spreads across a casino and a live casino with the overall offering coming in north of 8,000 different games, courtesy of 174 different providers to choose from. There really is something for everyone here.
With such a vast array of games on offer, it probably won’t surprise you to learn that these games cover a variation of different styles be it slots, scratchcards and table games. There are also some big brand names featured, with examples including ‘Big Bass: Secrets of the Golden Lake’ and ‘Slingo Starburst’. From a table game perspective you have blackjack, roulette, craps, baccarat and poker, again, all available in various different forms.
The live casino includes close to 700 different games with Evolution, Pragmatic Play and Playtech featuring amongst the providers. The games here hit all the notes you’d expect of a decent casino, with other offerings like ‘Treasure Island’ and ‘Crazy Time’ adding to the standard table game offering.
The navigation of the casino is exceptional too. There are clear headings, easily readable thumbnails and, most impressively, one of the best filter tools we’ve come across. Users are able to limit their view of games by various different factors including provider, the features within the games and the volatility rating i.e. low, medium or high payout models.
At the time of writing, there is no mobile app available for Videoslots. Ordinarily, we would critique that as a small negative given punters want the ability to bet at their fingertips nowadays, but there are a couple of key caveats to note.
Firstly, the website is not only mobile-friendly but also contains elements of customer control for how certain aspects of the site appear, which is something a lot of sites would only enable in an app. Secondly, we understand that a mobile app is in development; unfortunately, a timescale for release is not yet known.
Lastly, a ‘Videoslots Fun’ exists on the app store, which also operates in the casino space and with a very similar logo to Videoslots. The app is not affiliated with the bookmaker we review here.
With Videoslots having previously been pulled up by the Gambling Commission for failures around their handling of Responsible Gambling, it is likely that the current state of play in this space is critical to potential customers.
Based on the level of detail available on the site around red flags customers should watch out for, signposts to external help and support as well as various tools being made available to customers, it looks like lessons have been learned.
Within the ‘Account’ section, there is a dedicated Responsible Gambling section; here users can go through a self-assessment test and configure tools to assist them in ensuring they gamble responsibly. The tools in question are:
The above list of tools is considerably above the minimum that bookmakers have to offer.
The customer service on offer at Videoslots is not bad but, equally, there is definitely room for improvement.
Within the main menu, there is an ‘Information’ section that contains a few useful references but, unlike with some bookies, there is not what you would consider to be an extensive FAQ guide. This feels like a bit of a miss, as does the absence of a telephone contact option.
On the plus side, there is a live chat function that is available 24/7. Admittedly, you do have to go through an AI bot first, which Videoslots might argue is their equivalent to the lacking FAQ we mention, but it is pretty painful.
Chatbots being a hard use is not unique to this operator though. Once you get through a human, the service we received during our testing was excellent – quick, detailed and polite.
