Swifty Sports made their first strides into the UK online betting market, licenced under 58957, in 2022. Their recent push though, has been into Ireland, where they operate a sportsbook and casino. The latter being something unavailable to UK bettors, which is a real shame.

Parking the lack of a casino, the overall experience with Swifty is good - albeit not without room for improvement. Deposit methods are lacking, but that's saved a little courtesy of low deposit amounts and a reasonable withdrawal process.

Then you have the sportsbook. Sports coverage, market depth and in-play options are all ticks in the right column, whilst the betting margins of 7.13% are passable too.

All of that is supported by a solid customer service and responsible gambling approach as well.

About Swifty Sports

Swifty Sports is registered for trade as a sportsbook in the UK courtesy of the UK Gambling Commission under licence number 58957, Swifty Global (UK) Ltd.

It has been in operation in the UK since March 2022 and cites three key factors as their differential in the heavily-competed sports betting space; they are trust, competitive prices and positive customer experiences.

Swifty also operate in Ireland, where it is registered as Swifty Sports Ltd under company number 744613. It expanded into Irish markets at the back end of 2024 and, in doing so, has seen some online traction, putting the brand name back into focus more generally.

Is Swifty Sports Safe?

🔒 Swifty Sports UKGC Licence: 58957

Swifty Sports Ltd is a registered company out of Dublin, Ireland and trading under company number 1010669.

It's operation in the UK comes under the company Swifty Global (UK) Ltd; its registered address is in Covent Garden, London, with the company registered to trade in the online sports space under licence number 58957. That has been the case since March 2022, meaning it is safe and legal to use.

🔒 Swifty Sports Trustpilot Rating: 4.0 out of 5

We will start off our Swifty Sports Trustpilot summary by highlighting the fact that there are only 48 reviews at the time of writing. It isn't a completely pathetic sample size, but it is much more open to a skewed rating compared to some of the bigger players in the market.

That said, with a rating of 4.0 out of 5, where the overwhelming majority of reviews (60%) award five stars, its score is head and shoulders ahead of a lot of the aforementioned big boys; for context bet365 has a 1.3 rating, albeit from pushing 6k reviews.

Still, you can only judge based on what is in front of you, and that is really positive. As for common themes in the reviews, support and trust are the two most mentioned phrases.

On the negative side of things, of which there are 15% of reviewers awarding one star, the shared opinion is largely centred around account restrictions and/or stake limitations.

💰 Has Swifty Sports Been Fined by the UKGC?

It would be pretty disappointing to see a relatively infant operator having suffered regulatory action.

Thankfully, Swifty Sports have a clean bill of health where the UKGC are concerned and, as such, there are no safe & legal issues to consider.

Swifty Sports Deposit Methods

It is difficult to dress the payment methods available at Swifty Sports up as anything above average. The reason for that being the limited options available, which are mainstream choices but far from plentiful with card, instant bank transfer and Apple Pay the only methods.

A big positive around the Swifty deposit options is that the minimum deposit amount is only £5. There are stronger operators out there that will take deposits as low as £1 but even so, £5 is lower than a whole host of other operators.

The only downside is that the £5 deposit is only available via Apple Pay, which will not be an option for everyone.

How to Deposit At Swifty Sports

Depositing funds with Swifty Sports is a simple process in our testing. Follow our step-by-step actions to deposit quickly and safely at Swifty Sports:

  • 1

    Hit 'Deposit Now'

First things first, ensure you are logged into your account. From there you will see a bold white button in the top right corner that reads 'Deposit Now'. Click it.

  • 2

    Set Your Deposit Limits

As part of Swifty's responsible gambling approach, on your first deposit you will be guided to a 'Net Deposit Limits' screen. You can skip through this if you don't wish to configure any thresholds. Alternatively, set your chosen limits across a daily, weekly or monthly time period before hitting 'Set Limit'.

  • 3

    Confirm Your Billing Address

The next step is a self-explanatory one. Before getting to the deposit methods and amounts, you have to confirm your billing address. This will default according to the information you have provided to this point, however, it can be overridden.

    Hit 'continue' when done.

  • 4

    Set Your Deposit Amount

Another simplistic screen follows. You have three fast-load options to select from being £20, £50 and £100, however, you can also configure a bespoke amount by inputting your desired amount in the top box, which reads as '£0.00 GBP' on first view.

The minimum deposit value is £5. This is a pretty decent entry level compared to what some bookmakers ask of their punters.

    Once set, hit 'authorise'.

    Choose Your Payment Method

You will see three deposit methods presented on the next screen. The 'Card Payment' and 'Instant Bank Transfer' options are presented in defined boxes whilst a 'Pay with Apple Pay' option spreads horizontally underneath them.

Choose your preferred option. Input your relevant account details and then you will see a confirmation of 'Successful Deposit'.

Swifty Sports Withdrawal Methods

The withdrawal methods available at Swifty Sports are lacking, much like the deposit options, but with Instant Bank Transfers, card payments and Apple Pay all covered it will still be enough of an offer for the majority of customers.

If the lack of options is seen as a negative though, it's not all bad. You can withdraw from as little as £5. That is decent.

With regards to how long it takes to withdraw funds, our test saw our money land in our accounts after around 6 hours. This is far from instant but, equally, is notably quicker than a lot of operators.

Swifty Sports Sportsbook Review

With a brand name like Swifty Sports you would hope it offers up a good sports betting experience for punters. On first viewing it is hard to complain with the look and feel of the sportsbook, both in navigation and colour scheme, hitting the right notes; it looks great and is easy to find your way around.

People won’t stay with a bookie where things look shoddy, but there has to be more under the hood. Here, what you find under the surface is more than reasonable too. There are 23 sports covered; this is a solid but unspectacular range.

Importantly though, top sports like horse racing and football are covered whilst more niche offerings are also available with Gaelic Football and table tennis two examples of that. The lack of an eSports offering is impossible not to mention though.

The horses are one of the main focus areas for Swifty. You will find races from around the globe with international and UK & Ireland meets; the latter comes with Best Odds Guaranteed, which is a massive plus point and not something many lesser known operators offer.

In addition to that, regular price boosts also feature, allowing it to compete with some of the top horse racing sites in the UK. The only downside is an inability to filter race meets by country, but it’s only a minor thing.

Sportsbook horses

Football is the other dominant sport it offers. The coverage again spans to every corner of the globe with over 100 different competitions to bet on; that haul is built through a combination of elite level competitions, far flung leagues and their pyramids - for example offering two leagues from Ecuador - and various youth leagues.

Throw in the fact that there are in excess of 100 markets within a lot of the matches covered, and it's a solid new entry to the competitive football betting site landscape.

Sportsbook football

From a broader betting margin perspective, our test puts Swifty Sports at 7.13%. Not tragic but far from market leading.

Swifty Sports Casino Review

If you look at anything to do with Swifty Sports you will see a strong reference to a casino offering. Don't get excited about that as a UK reader though because, currently, it is only the sportsbook is available on these shores.

With a casino offering available in Ireland, we guess it is far from impossible that it eventually adds a similar offering to the UK site. That is unconfirmed though.

Swifty Sports Mobile App

Having our bets at our fingertips is an in-demand thing in the modern world of online gambling and Swifty Sports ensures it does not miss a beat here with it's app available to both Android and iOS users.

Swifty Sports App Store

Don't get us wrong, the app doesn't come with a shed load more functionality than the already mobile friendly website but there are also no issues to report; the branding between platforms is consistent and the navigation and usability is as slick in the app as it is on the website.

The main upside of the app is having the option to enable push notifications and having your bets that little bit closer.

Swifty Sports Responsible Gambling

We would classify Swifty Sports' responsible gambling support as "average".

On one hand, they do provide bettors with a fairly hefty chunk of detail on the subject, however, it is very simplistically put together; the best example of what we mean by that being the "Do you have a problem?" section.

There are 13 questions for you to answer with the aim of identifying whether or not you might have a problem, however, the questions are only presented as hard text meaning there is no dynamic result given to you, which could lead to people failing to recognise a potential issue.

Responsible Gambling.jpeg

On the tool front, it delivers everything you would expect. The available options are:

  • Loss Limits
  • Reality Check
  • Time Out (Play Break)
  • Self-exclusion
  • Deposit Limits
Swifty Sports Deposit Limit

Where Swifty do well is blending some of these tools into the site naturally. For instance, presenting the opportunity to set deposit limits when depositing funds.

This is a one-second task for someone who wants to skip by, but could prove extremely useful for someone who is more conscious of their spending habits.

The only other thing to touch on is another positive, which is the clear guidance Swifty give customers on how they can contact external resources and parties.

Swifty Sports Customer Support

Swifty Sports are not a big-hitter like some of the more recognised brand names in the online betting space. Despite that, it measures up well where their customer support is concerned.

The standout support mechanism is a live chat function that runs seven days a week with operating hours that span 09:00 to 22:00.

That route of contact is the preferred method for Swifty, and will be your quickest means to an answer but outside of those hours you still have an email contact that promises a response within three days.

Lastly, there is also a FAQ section to explore. It is fairly limited though and, whilst not awful, is by far the weakest area of the Swifty Sports customer support.
