PricedUp was launched in 2024 and is owned by Off Course Bookmakers Limited, who have been in operation since 1986, and are licensed by the UK Gambling Commission under licence number 1776.
With a long-standing company behind them and a strong offering of markets across sports, entertainment and casino betting there are plenty of reasons why this bookie will pique your interest.
Our PricedUp review will tell you everything you need to know about whether or not to take that interest any further.

If you were looking for a one-word summary of PricedUp as an operator, then “average” is probably not a bad summary. We certainly wouldn’t be too scathing about them.
Their sportsbook and casino games, which includes a live casino offering, is on-par with majority of the bigger players in the space whilst their betting margins of around the 7% mark aren’t exactly out of kilter either.
Where there is a bit of a difference between PricedUp and the competition is in the banking processes; it’s not all negative though.
From the positive angle, you can deposit and withdraw from a really low threshold. On the negatives, the payment methods aren’t particularly vast, and the stated withdrawal process isn’t the quickest – although it did perform much quicker than that stated time in our testing.
If you weigh all of this up, it’s probably a “par” score and it’s certainly a bookmaker you should consider signing up with.

With PricedUp a) being a relative newbie to the betting game and b) not having been marketed heavily they’re far from a name that is on everybody’s lips. As such, asking about the legitimacy of the site is only natural.
The parent company, Off Course Bookmakers Limited were founded in 1986 and are licensed by the Gambling Commission under license number 1776. This means that PricedUp is a legitimate bookmaker. It also means that the site is safe for use, sign up and depositing.
We’d always encourage bettors to do their own research and consider the reviews of other punters, however, it’s important to understand what you’re benchmarking against when referring to reviews. It’s not a wild suggestion that happy bettors, or even indifferent bettors, don’t review their bookies in the same way an unhappy punter does.
It can mean Trustpilot scores can look on the low side with bet365, a household name and trusted brand in the betting space, scoring a measly 1.3 out of 5. By contrast, 2.3 for PricedUp is more than passable; we should also caveat the small sample size though, which stands at just 35 reviews at the time of writing.
PricedUp have not been fined by the UKGC, however, the indirectly linked party Star Racing Limited (licence 9177) have. Whilst Star Racing Limited do not have a direct link to PricedUp from a company structure perspective, a shared address between Star Racing and Off Course Bookmakers Limited is hard to ignore.
With that in mind, it should be noted that Star Racing Limited were fined £594,000 in April 2023 by the Gambling Commission for “anti-money laundering and social responsibility failures” with the fines associated to their Star Sports brand; the failures occurred for a period of 14 months starting in March 2020.
PricedUp are largely the new kid on the block having only launched in 2024 but their owners, Off Course Bookmakers Limited, have been around somewhat longer as they rapidly approach their 40th anniversary and are licensed to operate both remotely and through bricks and mortar locations.
A less direct connection to PricedUp is the company Star Racing Limited (licence 9177). Although not formally linked, Star and Off Course are both registered to the same address – Star House, 255 Old Shoreham Road, BN3 7ED – and therefore it’s not a huge leap to make a connection between the two parties.
A scratch beneath the surface into Star Racing will bring you to other online bookmakers including the likes of Star Sports, AK Bets, NE Bet and McBookie; many of those utilise similar themes to PricedUp on their sites, which further demonstrates the link between the two companies.
None of the Off Course or Star Racing sites are what we’d consider to be the household name of online betting and, as such, we’ll be conducting a deep dive into every aspect of PricedUp ranging from the sign up process all the way through to how you can withdraw your funds – or, hopefully, winnings – back to the safety of your bank account.
An area PricedUp rightly take things seriously is responsible gambling. They offer new sign ups the option to create time-outs and deposit limits during the account creation process but also make it easy to change these preferences once a user is registered. These options can be found under the “My Account” section and “Limits & Responsible Gambling”.
Under this section you can activate deposit limits across various time periods, set self-exclusion parameters and activate “Reality check” notifications within the click of a couple of buttons.
Changes are just as simple to reverse but you will have to wait 24-hours to increase deposit limits; this is done for bettor protection and reduce emotionally led decisions.
There are a load of positives in this PricedUp review. The deposit methods is not one of them with the punter’s choice extremely limited; deposits can only be made via Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, bank transfer or cheques.
The deposit limits though are as low as anything you’ll find elsewhere with customers able to get started with as little as £1.

Depositing funds with PricedUp is very simple; we’ve outlined a step-by-step process for you below.
In the top right corner of the operator website, you'll see an icon resembling the head and shoulders of a non-descript person. This is your account icon. Click here to open the account overview as shown.
Once in your account overview, the first thing your eye will likely be drawn to is the sizeable yellow 'Deposit' button. Click it to move through to the next step of the depositing process.
You have two ways in which to populate your deposit amount. You can click on one of the quick-deposit options - £10, £20, £50 or £100 - or, alternatively, click in the grey box above those options to specify a bespoke amount. It has to be at least £1.
Once you have entered a deposit amount, you'll notice that the two "Deposit" based options appear; these allow you to progress with your deposit based on your preferred banking method.
With the deposit process now complete, you'll see a record of your deposit appear in your "Transaction History", which is accessible under your account section and you will also see your account balance on the home banner under the account icon.
Much like the deposits on PricedUp, the choice of withdrawal methods are fairly limited whilst the speed of withdrawal is also a question mark.
Officially, the site FAQs put withdrawal timescales at between two and five working days (or three and five working days elsewhere on the site), which puts the operator towards the slower end of the market.
In fairness though, our withdrawal test did come through much quicker than those timescales with our monies returned in just over half an hour.

In almost all circumstances, withdrawing from a bookmakers is likely to be one of the last things you do - after all, you're hard pressed to withdraw before depositing. Our step-by-step will walk you through how to withdraw from PricedUp.
Like detailed in our deposit process guide, the first step to withdrawing your funds from PricedUp means you need to head to your account section; this is achieved by clicking on the "head and shoulders" icon in the top right corner of the main banner. Here, you'll see a "Withdraw" option to select.
Now you're into the cashier section, you need to input the amount you wish to withdraw. A withdrawable balance is shown in the top right corner whilst the amount you wish to withdraw can be input manually into the grey box or fast-loaded using the yellow quick-reference buttons.
Once you've reached this stage all that remains is for you to select your chosen withdrawal method and then it's a waiting game for your monies to arrive.
The guidelines from PricedUp put the withdrawal timescale at between two and five days but our money was back in our account within just 36 minutes.
Always track your withdrawals both at source and via the PricedUp transaction history; this is accessible under your account section.
The sportsbook from PricedUp is one of the key areas for them as an operator. There are circa 20 sports covered on the platform ranging from headline sports like football and horse racing, which seem to be the dominant sports for PricedUp, to lesser followed sports such as greyhound racing and volleyball.
Taking a high-profile knockout stage Champions League game as a benchmark, on game-day too, the market offering from PricedUp is decent with around 100 markets on offer including the most popular choices amongst punters both in respect of match, team and player markets whilst in-play betting is another string to their bow.
A bet-builder option also exists. Despite being a reasonable offering, it probably does fall short of the top football bookmakers with the market layout one of our biggest criticisms; it can be hard to find what you’re looking for.
The other big negative for us is a real lack of sportsbook promotions, which whilst not fundamental to being a good operator, do serve as a big hook for new and returning customers.
The betting margin is another important consideration when choosing your preferred bookie. PricedUp comes up middle of the road on this measure as well; their margin of 6.98% is okay but nowhere near market leading.
That said, they do offer #PricedUpPushes that enhance their position against competitors in specific bets; this is essentially their price boost bets but does give them some unique industry-leading prices.
Horse racing betting is another clear focus within the PricedUp sportsbook. A smart toggle feature defaults you to UK & Ireland races meets but a quick switch on that extends a bettors options exponentially whilst the ability to watch many races live is another positive takeaway.
With plenty of other live sports covered too, PricedUp could be forgiven for not bothering with Virtual sports but they also have a dedicated section, albeit not a vast one. Esports, however, is a notable omission.

Despite offering a fairly extensive sportsbook, PricedUp haven’t neglected their casino offering – or at least not in respect of the depth of games on offer. We’ll come to those shortly, but we do need to address the elephant in the room, which is a lack of compelling promotions.
The main promo PricedUp offer is a “Slots Club” that rewards customers with 50 free spins to the value of £5 each week but only when they’ve wagered a hefty £250 on qualifying games throughout the preceding week.
On the bright side, any winnings earned from the free spins is not subject to wagering requirements and can be immediately withdrawn.
Right, back to the actual casino games. Slots are the dominant feature here with Reel King Megaways, Gods of Giza and Stacked Fire 7’s just a trio of examples.
In addition to that, you’ve also got an array of table games with solitaire, various roulettes and blackjack to pick from. It’s all very simple to navigate too with search functionality and a scrollable horizontal bar that acts as a shortcut to specific areas.
On top of all of that, PricedUp also operate a live casino offering further roulette, blackjack and baccarat alternatives.
If you want to live and breathe the ultimate on-the-go PricedUp experience then you can do so courtesy of the mobile app, which is available for Android and iOS devices. Ratings for the app put it at mid-range, around three out of five stars but, admittedly, from a very small sample size.
Our view, the app is that the absolutely fine both in respect of look, feel and performance with the overall theme consistent with the mobile website. The one upside the app has is that you can enable notifications meaning you can keep your finger on the pulse all the time.
Customer support is a function of online bookmakers that is often overlooked by punters. We understand that but, like an insurance policy, it’s only when you need it do you realise how much you appreciate a good operator.
PricedUp measures up well enough in this area too without being anything to write home about. They offer a live chat function, albeit not a 24-hour service, have an email address for queries as well as holding accounts with major social media platforms X and Instagram.
Their FAQ section also contains a fairly detailed complaints process, which includes a signpost to IBAS (Independent Betting Adjudication Service) but we do mark PricedUp down slightly owing to their own request to “first contact us via telephone” before going on to list their telephone number anywhere on their site.
