NRG Bet Deposit Methods and Terms

NRG Bet is owned by SharedBet Limited, which subsequently is behind the Playbook Gaming provider, meaning there are quite a few sister sites of the bookie in the UK. Launching in 2024, however, it is still attempting to make a name for itself, and it is not going as well as may have been hoped.

Although have seen a number of new UK bookmakers starting with a £10 minimum deposit amount, this is a little frustrating we must admit. Below, we have collected everything you need to know about NRG Bet and depositing funds, from the payment methods accepted to the specific terms for each.

How to Deposit at NRG Bet

Below, we have put together a step-by-step guide for depositing funds into an NRG Bet betting account. Just to be clear, we did this on the NRG Bet app, but the process is the same on all platforms.

  • 1

    Navigate to the Deposit Cashier

If you do not wish to deposit after signing up, which the bookmaker prompts, to access the deposit cashier, you must tap the profile icon in the top right corner. When shown, tap 'Deposit'.

    Enter the Deposit Amount

After navigating to the cashier, you have to enter the amount that you are looking to deposit into your account. Once done, tap 'Pay by Card'.

    Enter the Payment Method Information

Once this has been done, you will have to insert your payment information on a separate page. We chose to deposit £10 as normal via a debit card, and the funds were in our account instantly.

It is probably worth mentioning that the site may need to verify your payment with your bank of choice, but this is normal.

NRG Bet Minimum Deposit

With it being a new bookmaker, we could understand if NRG Bet only had a few payment methods available to use. However, the site still fails in this department by just accepting debit cards. Of course, it is nothing new with SharedBet/Playbook Gaming sites so the provider really needs to improve on this front.

The minimum deposit amount sits at £10 rather than £5, which only adds to the poor view of the financial side of NRG Bet. Unfortunately, to claim the sign-up bonus you must deposit £20 to get £10, which does not exactly make it one of the best welcome offers in the UK.

NRG Bet Deposits Using Debit Cards

Given there are no other methods offered by NRG Bet when it comes to payments, customers are left with debit cards as the sole method of depositing. Whilst the method is often preferred by customers anyway, it is not a huge loss. That being said, it is not ideal.

E-wallet deposits on NRG Bet

NRG Bet does not offer any e-wallet payment methods as of February 2025, which is a real shame. Paypal, Skrill and Neteller have become some of the favoured options for customers in the past few years and failing to provide these or any other methods is a downfall of the site, which was only founded in 2024.

NRG Bet Deposit FAQs

Unfortunately, PayPal is not a supported method of payment on NRG Bet, which is a real frustration. No other e-wallets are available either, which does not help the site.

Many bookies tend to accept £5 deposits these days, but NRG Bet has opted for a higher amount of £10. The bookmaker was founded in 2024 and is still growing its user base, so it may be possible that it will drop in the future, hopefully.
