Below, we have put together a step-by-step guide for depositing funds into an NRG Bet betting account. Just to be clear, we did this on the NRG Bet app, but the process is the same on all platforms.
If you do not wish to deposit after signing up, which the bookmaker prompts, to access the deposit cashier, you must tap the profile icon in the top right corner. When shown, tap 'Deposit'.

After navigating to the cashier, you have to enter the amount that you are looking to deposit into your account. Once done, tap 'Pay by Card'.
Once this has been done, you will have to insert your payment information on a separate page. We chose to deposit £10 as normal via a debit card, and the funds were in our account instantly.
It is probably worth mentioning that the site may need to verify your payment with your bank of choice, but this is normal.

With it being a new bookmaker, we could understand if NRG Bet only had a few payment methods available to use. However, the site still fails in this department by just accepting debit cards and Apple Pay. You could argue that it's enough, but we would have liked to see some more options for sure.
Recently, the site has undergone a payment update, and this has also carried through to the minimum offered by the bookmaker. Formerly, it was an impressive £1 but now it sits at £5. Still alright, in fairness, but far from the level it used to be. We imagine quite a few punters signed up solely for the low minimum, so for them it will be a blow.
Given there are no other methods offered by NRG Bet when it comes to payments, customers are left with debit cards as the sole method of depositing, either in the standard way or through Apple Pay. The minimum has also been increased, which is not ideal.

NRG Bet does not offer any e-wallet payment methods as of November 2025, which is a real shame.
Paypal, Skrill and Neteller have become some of the favoured options for customers in the past few years and failing to provide these or any other methods is a downfall of the site, which was only founded in 2024.
