With a reputation to protect, a lot of effort has clearly gone into Grosvenor's online casino and sportsbook. I was pleasantly surprised when I first encountered the latter, but everything made sense once I heard about the Kambi partnership. It is hard to go wrong when you have the latter in place, as evidenced by so many big bookies in recent years.

The bet builder tool is comprehensive, best odds guaranteed is offered and there is an impressive list of sports available to bet on. To top it all off, the design is very nice and makes browsing the sportsbook a smooth experience. As such, it goes without saying that Grosvenor deserves a high score.

Is Grosvenor Legit and Safe?

Seeing as the Grosvenor brand has been around since the 1970s, through casinos up and down the UK, most punters will already be familiar with the logo. The online product was obviously launched later and a sportsbook was also added in 2016 as Grosvenor looked to establish itself as one of the best both on- and offline.

Rank Group owns Grosvenor and has a UKGC licence through Rank Interactive Limited (account number 57924). There are quite a few other sites under the same licence, meaning Grosvenor has some sister sites. In any case, punters can be certain that it is safe and secure to sign up for the reputable Grosvenor.

On the other hand, security is not a guarantee for high quality and the Trustpilot rating attests to this, with 1.6 out of five stars. Many good bookies have low scores on the platform, such as bet365, but it is still worth keeping in mind before signing up.

Grosvenor Welcome Offers

Instead of the usual bet and get structure, Grosvenor has opted for a welcome offer that doubles the odds of the first bet. To qualify, you must place a bet of at least and at most £10 and use the boost token within 60 days of qualifying. It should be noted that while the offer says that the odds will be doubled, it is actually the profit from the bet which is doubled.

In other words, if you were to place a £10 bet with odds of evens, you would thus get your £10 profit doubled (if the selection wins). There is also no mention of minimum odds, which is great, but Grosvenor's offer is still a bit behind the best sign-up deals on the market.

How to Deposit at Grosvenor

Depositing funds into a Grosvenor account is very easy, but you can follow our step-by-step guide below if you need some assistance. It is worth noting that we completed the process on the app, but the site has the exact same process, which is just as simple to complete.

  • 1

    Navigate to the Deposit Cashier

After opening Grosvenor, simply tap the green 'Deposit' button shown in the top right of the app or page (given they have similar interfaces) to begin the process.

    Grosvenor Home
  • 2

    Choose Your Preferred Payment Method

Firstly, you will need to choose the payment method you want to use from the four options. As always, we chose to use a Visa Debit card as this normally offers the best withdrawal times.

    Grosvenor Deposit 1
  • 3

    Enter the Payment Details

Of course, after this, we need to insert our payment details. Make sure that these are correct to avoid transaction failure later in the process.

    Grosvenor Deposit 2
  • 4

    Tap On 'Deposit'

Once the above has been done, you will be taken back to the deposit screen where you can enter your deposit amount and security code. Finally, tap the 'Deposit' button at the bottom of the page, and you can begin betting.

Grosvenor Withdrawal Methods

The list of payment methods for withdrawals at Grosvenor is the same as for deposits, with debit card or Apple Pay likely to be the most popular one among customers. The limits are very good - £5 minimum and £30,000 maximum - and the withdrawals are fast. Below, we have collected everything you need to know about the methods.

If you haven't withdrawn money from Grosvenor before, you can follow our step-by-step guide below.

  • 1

    Navigate to the Withdrawal Cashier

Instead of being able to access the cashier from the home screen, users must head to the profile area in the top right corner. Then, tap the 'Cashier' option and 'Withdrawal' from the list of options available.

  • 2

    Enter the Withdrawal Amount

Following this, you will be presented with a screen to make your withdrawal, which shows your balance and payment method above a withdrawal value box. If the details are correct, simply enter your amount.

    Grosvenor Withdrawal 3
  • 3

    Confirm the Withdrawal

Finally, tap the 'Withdraw' button and you will be taken to a receipt area which will show your transaction ID and the payment method used. A very smooth process indeed.

Grosvenor Sportbook Review

Grosvenor is one of the heavy hitters on the casino front, that much is certain, but punters might be a bit apprehensive about the sportsbook. Right off the bat, this apprehension might be squashed by the fact that Kambi provides the sportsbook for the bookie, which is great news considering it also partners with the likes of Unibet, LiveScore Bet, BetMGM and so on.

In total, there are around 25 different sports to bet on, including less popular ones such as bowling, cycling and lacrosse. As for the big sports, starting with football, it is well taken care of at Grosvenor and that was to be expected with Kambi. A good amount of markets are offered for most games, even more so for Premier League ones, and there is a comprehensive bet builder tool as well.

Grosvenor sportsbook

The betting margins are very good, with our test showing an average of 5.44%, and this means punters can rely on getting as much as possible from winning bets. Moving on to horse racing, meetings from all over the world are available and we quite like the design of the section, highlighting some useful stats as well as the odds.

Live streaming is also available for horse racing, which is great, and best odds guaranteed is offered for UK, Irish and US races. Esports is another positive for Grosvenor, seeing as some bookies still fail to offer it, and here punters can find games like CS2, League of Legends, Rainbow 6 and more. In short, very comprehensive.

Overall, we are big fans of the Grosvenor sportsbook but again, that was to be expected given the Kambi partnership. The latter is one of the biggest and best providers in the world so anything other than a high standard would have been very strange.

Grosvenor Sportbook App

Like any other respectable betting site, Grosvenor has an app that customers can download. Compared to the best betting apps in the UK, it seems to be doing okay with an average rating of 4.2/5 stars on the App Store for iOS. The Google Play Store (for Android) rating is not as flattering, with a rating of 2./5 stars.

Most of the Android reviews are old, and updates have been released since, so hopefully the issues have been fixed by the bookie. That seems to be the case, anyway, as there are no new negative reviews of the app. Overall, it appears Grosvenor's app will do the job and a little more, once again helped by Kambi's solutions.

Grosvenor Customer Support

Customer support is very important for any betting site and given Grosvenor's reputation, both online and in-shop, a high standard is expected. In the top menu of the site, rather than buried at the bottom, there is a 'Support' option and this brings you to the customer support landing page. Here, in addition to FAQs, you will also find a live chat option in the bottom right corner.

The support staff at Grosvenor is available between 07:00 and 22:30 every day, while customers can turn to a chatbot outside of these hours. 24/7 support would have been nice, but to be honest Grosvenor covers so many hours anyway that we cannot really complain.

Grosvenor Sport FAQs

The Grosvenor gambling brand has gone through a number of changes of ownership over the years, but The Rank Group is currently the company that owns Grosvenor Sports. Rank is listed on the London Stock Exchange and runs Mecca Bingo clubs in the UK and Rank Interactive too.

The minimum deposit is £5 per transaction at Grosvenor Sports unless you need to deposit with PayPal, in which case it is £10. The minimum withdrawal amount is also set at £5 per transaction, unless a Grosvenor customer is seeking to clear their remaining balance.

Due to the fact that Grosvenor Sports is licensed and regulated by the Gambling Commission under licence 38750, the site can be considered to be both legal and safe to use in the UK.

Yes, like many of the top online gambling brands in the UK right now, Grosvenor Sports does have betting apps to download for iOS and Android. On iOS, the Grosvenor Sport - Bet on Sport app can be found in the App Store, while Android users can find the app on the Play Store.

I opened a betting account with them and used it for a few weeks and then they suspended it for no reason. I asked why and they said they needed proof of identity. They wanted a photo of my driving license or passport and a utility bill with my name and address on. I though it was a scam so I said Im not sending them so they reopen my account
