As a part of the EasyJet brand, EasyBet will certainly be recognisable to people living in the UK, and many abroad as well. However, seeing the aviation brand launch a betting exchange site in 2024 is certainly somewhat of a shock. It is still getting off the ground, and this is rather easy to see.

The Easy brand is one of the biggest in the United Kingdom, and when it sued the band Easy Life, it seemed that the company were looking to branch into other markets. However, most people likely did not expect a betting site to be one of the upcoming ventures.
EasyBet launched in October 2024, and to be completely honest, it is very easy to tell that this is the case. In fact, we ran into some big problems in our admittedly limited time on the site. For this reason, we would steer clear, and we will go into more detail from here.
Speaking quite brutally, I cannot see the brand growing to compete with the best UK sites or even the better new betting sites, just because of the current set-up of the site. However, I hope this changes in the future, and I'd be more confident if it stepped away from Matchbook/Triplebet.
When we attempted to create an account with EasyBet, we were informed that we could not create one due to already having an account with Matchbook. The two betting sites are linked, that much is easy to see, but similarity has not stopped other sister sites in the UK from accepting customers.
For this reason, we would advise avoiding EasyBet, at least for now, given there are no real reasons to use the site over Matchbook. The latter is a site which we actually liked during our tests even if it was also flawed.

EasyBet took off in the United Kingdom in October 2024, and so far, it has not hit the heights that the company probably would have hoped. To be brutally honest, it is clear to see why. Positives are quite difficult to find in abundance, with the only clear one being the betting margins.
Now let's get to the negatives. The site is powered - which is the keyword in this sentence, and can be seen in the bottom corner of the image below - by Matchbook, which is abundantly clear given the similarities between the sites. While this is not the problem in itself, the problem is that you cannot have an account with both.
Having similar sites is not a new thing at all, and we have a host of reviews on sister sites available, however, in our 25+ years of experience with gambling sites, we have never seen anything like this.
In fact, we even took to the site's live chat to ask about the reasons why this was the case, and the representative said the following, "EasyBet is powered by Matchbook, with both brands operating under the same Triplebet licence. You can only have an account at one or the other, not both,” which is certainly strange.
Should you wish to create an account with EasyBet, you have no need to worry about the safety of the site, with it being fully licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission (under account number 39504). TripleBet Limited is the listed company for the licence and is also the owner of Matchbook.
Having a licence does not make the product good, though, and the Trustpilot reviews show this. From what we can tell, there is only one review of the site, with most of the other reviews coming from South Africa, likely for the South African betting site of the same name.
The one review from Great Britain is a one-star review, so perhaps EasyBet would hope for the added other reviews, as the site would at least have a two-star rating then...
Customers will be granted a £20 free bet for placing a £20 bet at Evens (2.0) or better when using the sign-up code 'EB20', which is quite poor as far as welcome offers go. Instead of being an incentive to sign up, it feels more like a break-even deal which is not ideal. It is certainly not among the best welcome bonuses available.
With the sign-up offer failing to blow us away, we were not feeling too hopeful going into the standardised promotional area, and we are somewhat glad about this. Once again, EasyBet hosts a 'Bet and Get' promotion, and once again, it does not represent great value for us, the customers.
After £30 of bets have settled - 1x £10 2.0+ 'Back bet', 1x £10 2.0+ 'Lay bet' and 1x £10 2.0+ Multiple - then you will be awarded a £10 free bet. Compared to some other horse racing promotions, this certainly is not one of the best around.
Unfortunately, there is nothing for football enthusiasts and there are no promotions targeted at these markets, which is quite frustrating for sure given their popularity.
Whilst we do have our frustrations about EasyBet, we have to commend them for the choices of payment available. Customers are greeted with some nice e-wallet options, whilst also being able to use Apple Pay and Google Pay, which is something to appreciate.
However, the minimum deposit amount is £10 and this is rather frustrating given the move to a £5 minimum by a lot of bookmakers. Below, we have collected everything you need to know about deposits at EasyBet.

Below, we have put together a step-by-step guide for depositing funds into an EasyBet account, testing the process on the app which is available on iOS and Android.
Once you have entered the app, tap the profile icon shown in the top right corner to bring up the information and profile area of the app. Following this, tap the 'Deposit' option.
In the second step, choose your deposit method and enter how much you would like to add to your account. We would recommend depositing £20 at first, just to ensure that you are eligible for the sign-up bonus.
Now, tap the 'Deposit' option and the process will be completed. From this point, you will be taken to a receipt screen, and you can begin betting from here!
We were quite surprised with how long withdrawals are expected to take on the site, in a pleasant way, considering there was a lack of methods shown to us when withdrawing, but this could be a mishap.
Below, we have collected everything you need to know about withdrawals at EasyBet:
Payment Method | Min. Limit | Transaction Fee |
---|---|---|
Visa | £10 | 0% |
Mastercard | £10 | 0% |
Skrill | £10 | 0% |
Neteller | £10 | 0% |
Apple Pay | £10 | 0% |
Google Pay | £10 | 0% |
For those who are looking to withdraw winnings from EasyBet Bet for the first time, it might not be completely obvious where to go, or what to do. Our easy step-by-step guide has all the full details, so read on:
Like when depositing, you must again head to the profile area, but this time we want to press the 'Withdraw' option.
Now, you must choose your payment method, however, it is likely that you will have to use the same method to withdraw as you used to deposit, which is common among the best bookmakers.
Then, select how much you would like to withdraw. Of course, it must be more than £10.
Finally, you must tap the 'Withdraw' option, and then your request will start being worked on. Given the site is run by Triplebet, we can look at our test score for Matchbook, which suggests that a withdrawal should be with you within 12 hours.
Given we have been unable to access the sportsbook, we cannot offer the best review of the EasyBet sportsbook. However, with the similarities between the sportsbook and Matchbooks', we can take things from there.
The sports on offer are the exact same and EasyBet underwhelms in this department, with only 11 sports being offered. This is a lot less than some of the better bookmakers available to UK customers.
In the interface, there are quite a few frustrating things. Not only do some features feel like a last-minute addition, such as the 'All Soccer' area, which is often highlighted on other sites. Instead, EasyBet has this menu last, which is frustrating, as it seems like there is not much focus on the area - which is poor given it offers a full menu of the available fixtures.
The bet builder area is easy to navigate and quite simple, but this has its drawbacks too. With Bet365, for example, using the bet builder feels quite rewarding. With EasyBet, on the other hand, it feels somewhat underwhelming although this could be due to the interface once again.
Horse racing is available and there is a good mix of UK, Irish and International racing available, with quite a few streaming options available. However, there are quite limited options when it comes to making accumulators.
In-play betting is possible, but like many things, it just feels unattended to. The markets find themselves in the 'Misc' area of the site, which is really poor from our perspective, and whilst it is not a unique selling point to the site, it is certainly not a 'Misc' thing. Perhaps, this is us being overly harsh though.

Betting via an app is one of the most popular methods in the United Kingdom, so it is a must for operators to have a good app. However, does EasyBet excel here?
Starting with the ratings on the app store, the iOS app has a score of 2.5 from less than 50 reviews, whereas the Android app doesn't exist, which is another red flag.
To its credit, EasyBet has already updated the app eight times since its launch in October 2024, but it still hasn't been enough for things to improve on the ratings front.

Safer Gambling tools are a must for bookmakers in the United Kingdom now, but having them easily accessible and available to customers goes a long way, and whilst there is a lot to criticise EasyBet for, we can give them credit where its due.
On the app and website, finding support is very easy to do, and there are a number of fantastic tools available, such as:
The deposit limits and time reminders are enforced from entry to certain areas of the app, whereas the middle two tools can be found in the support area.

If you are looking to create an account at EasyBet, you can follow our step-by-step guide on how to do so below:
Signing up to EasyBet can be done via the app or the website, but we used the app to complete the process - which is our preferred method generally. The steps are the same though, so to begin, tap the 'Join' option.
To start the process, you will for some personal information: your name, country of and date of birth. Then, you will be asked to create your account details too, however, you cannot have an account with Matchbook and EasyBet as stated at the start of this review.
Following this, also on the first page, you will be asked to select your preferred currency and also if you would like to use a Bonus Code.
The second step of this process requires you to enter details about your address for verification, unfortunately, there is not an address finder, but the process should not take too long at all.
Finally, create a security question, select your preferences and then tap the 'Join EasyBet' button at the bottom of the screen and you can begin betting!
