Score3.56Casumo was launched in Sweden in 2012, but the site joined the UK market in January 2020, looking to offer a new option for customers. Featuring a casino and sportsbook, there is a lot to like about the site. But how does it hold up?
In this review, we will take a look at everything Casumo has to offer, highlighting the pros and cons of the site, and discussing whether or not it is worth signing up.

Casumo is certainly on the older side of the 'new bookmaker' bracket, but few would think of it as a new site anyway after actually trying the features. Indeed, even as more experienced punters, we were pleasantly surprised by what is on offer.
Navigating the site and app is very simple, and we did not experience any technical issues in our extensive testing. Elsewhere, the casino and sportsbook are both strong, largely thanks to the support from Kambi.
Payments on Casumo are easy, thanks to an extensive list of different options available. However, the £10 minimum could certainly be lowered. Additionally, the 16-hour wait time to receive our money felt a little annoying, especially at a less busy time of the week.
There are plenty of positives with the site, but a few issues do exist. For what it is worth, they are fixable, so it is a site with plenty of potential still.

Many punters will see Casumo as a new option in the UK, even if it has been available for quite a few years now (2020). That is nothing if we look at the full origin story, though, as Casumo first launched in Sweden in 2012, meaning the site is far from being a newbie.
In terms of ownership, Casumo is owned and operated by the Recro Limited, and there are no sister sites available, at least not directly. So the brand is truly the focus here, rather than it being spread across a few options, which we almost always see as a benefit. Is it a benefit here, though?
In this review, we will discuss everything you need to know about Casumo, from the sportsbook to the casino and the payment methods available. By the end of it, you will hopefully be able to make an informed decision about whether to join Casumo or not.
As proudly stated in its 'About' section, the brand holds all the relevant licensing from the UKGC, meaning it is regulated by the Gambling Commission, which is a must. The brand has its own license effectively (registered under number 61549), so it is safe and the sole focus of Recro Limited.
Given that Casumo has been active for more than five years, there are certainly more than enough reviews of the site, but some of them may not be the most accurate. On Trustpilot, we can see the site is rated 2.1/5 from more than two thousand reviews.
However, we found that many reviews complain about a lack of wins, which certainly takes away from the 'true' reviews. In the few that do review the site fairly, we can see that the site has recently deteriorated a little, with a few complaining about the speed of withdrawals.
The UKGC has never had a reason to fine Casumo or take any other regulatory action against the bookmaker. This should be the norm, though, but it often is not the case. In other words, we can commend the site for this.
Casumo offers two sign-up offers for customers, which is pretty standard now, given that both sports and casino customers are targeted. However, they are certainly a little restricted, you have to say.
For those looking to use the sportsbook, you can get up to £30 in matched free bets if your bet loses. However, you must place a three-leg acca or more, with odds at 1.40 or better. With the free bet, you must do the same, but with maximum odds of 6.0. Effectively, the maximum that you can win from this is £150.
Looking at the casino offer, things are very similar, but certainly worse, one would say. If you deposit up to £100, your deposit will be matched again, which sounds great alone. However, the bonus winnings from that matched stake must be wagered 60x before you can get the funds out of your account.
In other words, there are certainly better offers for casino players, and certainly for those who are looking at a sportsbook.

Unfortunately, the list of promotions at Casumo is not fantastic, which is rather frustrating, at least from a sportsbook perspective. Past the sign-up promotions, customers are not given anything.
However, casino players are certainly treated to a little more, it must be said. From daily games to 'Umoboards', there are several chances to win free spins and other prizes throughout the week. It certainly would be nice if both sides of the site were given this focus.
There is a surprising amount of payment methods available at Casumo, so whilst the normal options are present (such as debit cards), you can also deposit with e-wallets, digital wallets and the increasingly popular instant bank transfer option.
Unfortunately, you have to deposit £10 or more, which is certainly a bit frustrating. Considering the methods available, though, it is understandable. You can find all the details you need about the payment methods below:
| Payment Method | Min Deposit | Max Deposit | Deposit Fee | Processing Time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Visa | £10 | £2435 | No fee | Instant |
| Mastercard | £10 | £2435 | No fee | Instant |
| Apple Pay | £10 | £2435 | No fee | Instant |
| PayPal | £10 | £2435 | No fee | Instant |

| Skrill | £10 | £2435 | No fee | Instant |
| Paysafecard | £10 | £2435 | No fee | Instant |
If you are unfamiliar with the deposit process at Casumo, you can follow our step-by-step guide below for some assistance:
Once you have signed in to your account, there are a few methods of depositing. You can either tap the 'Deposit' option to enter the cashier, or you can tap the 'More' icon at the bottom and then scroll to 'Deposit'.
After entering the cashier, you can select a payment method, and whilst there are a lot of options, we used a debit card in our test.
Finally, enter the amount that you would like to deposit, as well as your payment information. Then, complete the process. The funds will be in your account straight away, so good luck!
The impressive payment options continue when withdrawing from Casumo. Although you must withdraw at least £10, the range of methods is impressive, which can only be praised. However, the 16-hour wait time is far from ideal, with there certainly being faster bookies out there.
Additionally, customers are given the choice of switching to a new method, which is a rarity in the UK. Below, you can find all of the payment information for Casumo, as well as a guide on how to withdraw funds:
| Payment Method | Min Withdrawal | Max Withdrawal | Withdrawal Fee | Withdrawal Time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Visa | £10 | £2435 | No fee | 1-3 business days |
| Mastercard | £10 | £2435 | No fee | 1-3 business days |
| Apple Pay | £10 | £2435 | No fee | 1-3 business days |
| PayPal | £10 | £2435 | No fee | 1-3 business days |
| Instant Bank Transfer | £10 | £2435 | No fee | 1-3 business days |
| Trustly | £10 | £2435 | No fee | 1-3 business days |
| Skrill | £10 | £2435 | No fee | 1-3 business days |
| Paysafecard | £10 | £2435 | No fee | 1-3 business days |
If you are new to Casumo and would like to find out how to withdraw funds, you can follow our step-by-step guide below for some assistance:
With withdrawals, we can use the 'Deposit' option to enter the cashier again. However, we opted to use the 'More' icon once again, pressing 'Withdraw' this time instead.
Here, you will be asked to insert a withdrawal amount and choose the method. We went with the same method as the deposit and withdrew the minimum from our account, which is £10.

All that is left now is to wait for the money, and whilst waiting, you can find the status of your withdrawal in the cashier. Simply follow the process again and then tap 'Transactions' in the top menu.
In our most recent test, we were left waiting around 16 and a half hours for the money to reach our account. Considering we did the test at a fairly quiet time (you would imagine), this was a little disappointing.

As in the case with all UK bookmakers, customers must be verified to use Casumo. This means that your account is yours and that you are 18 or older. To find out this information, the site asks you to provide it when signing up.
However, in some cases, customers will be asked to provide additional information, such as:
Most of the time, verification is done digitally, but there are certainly cases where you need to provide this information. If this is the case, though, it is not the end of the world, and it will not affect your account in the long term. Simply speak to customer support, and you will be good to go.
The sportsbook is actually provided by Kambi, which would explain why it looks very similar to BetMGM and its sister sites. This is because the provider is also behind the sportsbooks used on these sites.
So, despite still being one of the newer bookmakers on the market, Casumo has a wide selection of different sports, totalling more than 25 different options for punters. Of course, these include the most popular options, like football, racing and tennis.
However, there are also E-sports, political and special markets. In other words, you will struggle to find something not available to you.
Starting with football, the markets actually compete with some of the biggest and best football bookmakers. Whilst there may be some leagues missing, we found that the actual range of markets on fixtures was fantastic.
The horse racing markets were also equally impressive, with the markets being quite strong. This was the case both in terms of price and the actual options available. For example, very few bookmakers offer place markets. But Casumo do.
Unfortunately, though, there is a big downfall in the fact that only UK and Irish racing is available. Even then, some Irish cards were not shown to us, so it may only be English, Scottish and Welsh racing available.
Looking at the actual sportsbook itself, Casumo is on the fairer side of bookmakers. Rather than having a high betting margin, we actually found that they were around the 5.3% mark. Really strong indeed.
These strengths also continue with the novelty and e-sports markets. Customers are able to bet on different political markets, such as the US Mayoral Elections, whilst also being able to bet on the BBC Sports Personality of the Year, in the novelty category.
When it comes to e-sports, the normal selections are all available. This means you can easily bet on Counter-Strike, Dota 2 and League of Legends. In other words, it offers a fantastic sportsbook from back to front.
When you first access Casumo, the site will push you towards the casino. In fact, the first offer displayed is the one tailored to players, rather than punters. So, it would be reasonable to suggest that there may be a bit of a preference towards it.
The area is very strong, too. Split into four sections, 'Slots' and 'Live Casino' are seemingly the preferences. However, that is more to make navigation easy and quick, rather than actually leaving out table games and other popular casino options.
Top providers like Play'n Go, Pragmatic Play, and Hacksaw Gaming are all available on site, and can be found via the search bar, which allows games or providers to be sought. All things considered, a solid casino offering indeed.
Casumo's app has a familiar look and feel, which is most likely thanks to the partnership with Kambi. Even though the site does not have any sister sites through the ownership, as said, there are many that also use that platform provider (hence some similarities). This familiar feel is a good thing.
After all, most of the best options on the market have a certain feel to them. The app has a premium touch to it, rather than being an overly reproduced option like many other apps. Getting around Casumo is easy, whilst the different sections are structured well.
Interestingly, it is also rather interchangeable. Depending on which section of the app you are on, what is shown in the bottom menu changes. If you are in the sports area, then this will be in focus, but it changes for those looking to play casino.

Customer service is the backbone of any good brand, and it shows with it being highlighted at the top of Casumo's 'More' area. Whilst the other sections are shown elsewhere, this almost feels like the area is dedicated to the help side of things.
Three types of support are available: FAQs, a live chat and email. The former is built through drop menus in different sections, which is always ideal. However, a search bar in this area would be appreciated.
With the live chat, you are connected to a chatbot at first, but you can request to speak to a customer adviser if you wish to.
You can take a look at the table below to find all of the necessary details regarding the customer support of Casumo.
| Chat | Yes |

| Opening hours | 7 Days a week, 24/7 |
Betting sites, more than ever, are being encouraged to promote responsible gambling as a necessity now. Casumo certainly fulfils this requirement, too, featuring a large section about playing responsibly.
Like in the FAQ section, there is a drop-down box for different queries, such as 'Professional support' and 'I think I might be playing too much', making the problem seem massively less daunting.
However, if you want to take action on your account, the following is available:
Deposit/loss limits are generally seen as the best way to start, and most bookmakers enforce them from the start. However, if you feel like you need greater support, self-exclusions and GAMStop could be the way forward.
If you are interested in trying your luck at Casumo, follow our step-by-step guide on how to sign up on the site below.
Either head to the app or use the link above to make signing up as easy as possible. Then, on the home page, you will find the 'Create Account' option.
The first step is to select which sign-up promotion you would like to use. If you do not have an interest in either, simply tap the option at the bottom of the screen to bypass this option.
Following that, you will be asked to confirm some account information. So, you must provide an email address, a telephone number and, of course, a password for your account.
Now, it is time to provide some information about yourself, so you will need to provide your address, full name, and even your place of birth. A fairly extreme verification process, compared to what we normally see. Then, you will be good to start betting.

Avoid reload bonuses like the proverbial plague. T&Cs are hidden from view and players are actively encouraged to squander bonus funds on ineligible bets. Very deceptive dishonest operation. A complaint to the UK Gambling Commission with supporting evidence is in progress.
