Who Owns Betzone?
Betzone used to be operated by the well-known provider Playbook Gaming Limited, making it a sister site of bookies like NRG Bet and PricedUp. However, in addition to switching ownership from Betzone Ltd to Richmond Atlantic Ltd (UKGC licence number 65056), Betzone launched its new site with the provider Metric Gaming in January 2025.
In December 2025, Betzone announced its decision to close the site after four years of operating in the UK, citing a 'competitive market' as the main reason. It is no longer possible to join the site as a result, and existing customers can find details on how to withdraw funds on the site.
What Are Betzone's Pros and Cons?
First of all, major kudos to Betzone for leaving the Playbook Gaming umbrella and launching a revamped site.
