Bet365 Deposit Methods and Terms

bet365 offers several different methods for deposits, and the minimum amount is set at £5 for almost all payment methods.

However, those who like to bet with PayPal should perhaps look at another bookmaker, as the minimum amount at bet365 is set at £25.

It is very unusual for such a big betting site to have a limit of this kind, but at least there are plenty of other options.

If you like to use direct bank transfers, the minimum deposit is also high at £100. But, it has the highest maximum deposit limit set at £100,000, which is great for high rollers.

Below, we have collected everything you need to know about Bet365 and depositing funds, from the payment methods accepted to the specific terms for each.

How to Deposit at Bet365

If you haven't deposited funds into a Bet365 UK account before, read our step-by-step guide below for some assistance. In the interest of clarity, we deposited through the Bet365 app.

  • 1

    Navigate to the 'Deposit' Cashier

After opening the app, you will be brought to this home page. By tapping on 'Deposit' in the top-right corner, you will be brought to the bet365 deposit cashier.

Alternatively, you could tap on the profile icon, 'Bank', and then 'Deposit', which makes it easier if you want to use a new payment method.

    Select Your Preferred Deposit Method

The next step in the deposit cashier is to select your preferred deposit method. Alternatively, if you would like to use a new method, such as a new card, there will be an area to add this.

In case you opt for the faster route to the deposit cashier, your standard payment method will first be offered to you.

    Enter the Deposit Amount

After choosing your payment method, the final box on the page is the deposit amount box. There are no pre-selected options, so choose an amount more than the minimum deposit of £5 unless you use PayPal, which is set at £25.

In this example, we chose to deposit using a debit card.

Bet365 Minimum Deposit

Bet365 offers a low minimum deposit of just £5 with most payment methods, including debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Paysafecard, and Trustly.

But, Bet365 has higher minimum deposit limits for PayPal users set at £25, and Bank Transfers set at £100.

Bet365 Deposits Using Debit Cards

Bet365 offers low deposits for both Visa and Mastercard debit cards, starting from £5 and going up to £20,000. There are no fees and the deposits are instant.

Bet365 Deposits Using Paysafecard

Paysafecard, a pre-paid card, is known for having low minimum deposit amounts at betting sites, and this is also the case at Bet365, set at £5 and a max deposit of £770. Although, it is not as low as other bookmakers like Lottoland which starts at £2!

No fees are attached, and deposits are instant. However, remember that you cannot withdraw with Paysafecard if you choose to use it. Also, if this is your first deposit, Paysafecard deposits are not eligible for the welcome bonus.

Bet365 Deposits Using Trustly

Trustly is one of the most trusted (pun intended) bank solutions in the UK and while an increasing amount of betting sites are opting against it, Bet365 still accepts the method.

The minimum deposit is set at £5 with a maximum deposit limit of £25,000. Once again, there are no fees, and deposits are instant.

There is no mention of Trustly being excluded from the welcome bonus, but we used a debit card to claim the offer, so we can't say for sure.

Bet365 Deposits Using Apple Pay

Bet365 has embraced the ease and user-friendly nature of mobile payment solutions with Apple Pay and Google Pay for deposits and withdrawals.

It is arguably the most convenient payment method for Apple users and deposits start from £5 up to £5,000. There are no fees attached, and deposits are instant, but Apple Pay deposits are not yet eligible for the welcome offer.

Bet365 Deposits Using Google Pay

Betting with Google Pay on Bet365 will be one of the best options for Android users with deposits starting at £5 up to £5,000.

Only a handful of bookmakers currently accept Google Pay, so it's great to see Bet365 as one of the options. However, you will not be able to claim the welcome offer with a G Pay deposit.

Bet365 Deposits Using PayPal

Betting with PayPal on Bet365 is a great option unless you want to deposit a small amount. The minimum deposit amount is £25, and it cannot be used for the welcome offer.

The maximum deposit amount is also lower than most options at £5,500, but this should be more than enough for most punters.

Why is Bet365 Not Letting Me Deposit?

If you are experiencing issues depositing money on Bet365, it could be for several reasons. Below are some issues we have noticed and solutions to help you resolve them.

Bet365 Account Not Verified

  • Issue: If you do not have a verified Bet365 account, you will not be allowed to deposit.
  • Solution: Make sure you upload the necessary Know Your Customer (KYC) documents. They are typically reviewed within 48 hours, and if successful, you will be able to make a deposit after that.

Incorrect Card/Bank Details

  • Issue: If your payment method was declined, your details could be incorrect. It could also be your bank blocking the transaction if the details are correct.
  • Solution: Double-check that your card/bank details are correct. If so, we recommend contacting either Bet365's live chat or your bank's support. When withdrawing our money, we had an error with the bank details, which was solved with the help of their live chat within 10 minutes.

Insufficient Funds or Deposit Limits

  • Issue: You might not have enough funds in your account, or you may have exceeded your deposit limits on Bet365.
  • Solution: Check to make sure you have sufficient funds in your account or that you have not exceeded the deposit limits you set in your account.

Technical Issues

  • Issue: During peak hours, Bet365 tends to struggle with technical issues and it can cause problems with deposits, withdrawals and placing bets. It could also just be an issue with the app or site.
  • Solution: Check for updates if you are using the app, or uninstall and reinstall it again. We had an issue where we couldn't log into our account via the app, but it worked after deleting the app and reinstalling it again. If you are using the website, try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser. If the issue persists, contact customer support.

Bet365 Deposit FAQs

The minimum deposit amount at Bet365 is £5 with most payment methods including debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Trustly and Paysafecard.

From our experience, verifying an account at Bet365 is a very quick process and most customers will have their account automatically verified like ours was.

However, in some cases, you might need to upload additional documents, and then Bet365 says they aim to review all documents within 48 hours.

A deposit limit on bet365 is a responsible gambling feature that allows users to set the maximum amount of money they can deposit into their account for a specified period.

You can choose several deposit limit options, including:

  • 24 Hour Deposit Limit: A maximum amount you can deposit in a single day.
  • 7 Day Deposit Limit: The total amount you can deposit in 7 days.
  • 30 Day Deposit Limit: The total amount you can deposit in 30 days.

You can set or adjust your deposit limits through their account settings on the Bet365 website or app. Once set, these limits can be adjusted if needed.

You can revise your deposit limits downward at any time, but increasing them will only be implemented after 72 hours for the daily, 168 hours for the weekly, and 720 hours for the 30 day period. Customer support cannot override the limits set by you either.
