Wondering how long it actually takes to get your money from 888Sport? We put the withdrawal time to the test using real money and a Visa debit card, receiving our money 2 days later.
In this guide, you will find our full test results, the step-by-step breakdown of the process, and tips to get your money out faster.
888Sport is one of the most well-known bookmakers in the UK, having partnered with Premier League as well as Football League clubs, and the takeover of William Hill has also helped. It is not exactly surprising that several payment methods are available, in other words.
That being said, we were left a bit disappointed with the speed of the process, as mentioned above. Below, we have collected the key information about withdrawals at 888Sport, including the methods available and the withdrawal time for each.

We were rather disappointed when testing the 888Sport withdrawal process, simply because we had higher expectations for the bookmaker. As one of the biggest bookies in the UK, we entered the process expecting it to be smooth and quick, but as you will see, we ran into problems.
Across all methods, and not just Visa which we tested, there seems to be a wait of around 24 hours. This is already slow in our eyes as most betting sites process payments within a few hours. But interestingly, e-wallets seem to be faster than debit cards, which is rarely the case these days given the Visa Direct feature.
For those who are looking to withdraw winnings from 888Sport Bet for the first time, it might not be completely obvious where to go, or what to do. Our easy step-by-step guide has all the full details, so read on:
As we did when depositing, the first step in this process is to tap the 'Profile' icon shown in the top right corner, and from here, we want to click the 'Withdraw' option. Once again, it may take you out of the app when doing this, but you can still trust it.
After selecting the 'Withdraw' option, the next step is to decide how much you would like to withdraw. We decided to withdraw the minimum amount of £10 in our test. Helpfully your balance is shown above the text box, which is a nice aid.
It is worth noting that there was no option to enter a decimal point when we tried to withdraw on another occasion, which was rather frustrating. However, you can type a comma in the extra characters area, which works instead of a decimal point.
Following this, you will have to go through two screens confirming your withdrawal method, as well as your withdrawal currency, which is certainly a new thing in our experience of testing these requests.
Finally, you will be shown a confirmation screen, showing that your withdrawal has been approved, and the site suggests that your money will take at least one business day and this came to fruition, which is rather slow for a bookmaker this size. Especially considering we used a Visa debit card, which is considered one of the fastest methods across the industry.
