Things in the Villa are quite difficult to unpack, and we are now at a stage where that is a little rare with Love Island. Couples are not really that strong, and there are several questions on the table.

  • Malisha Jordan
  • Remell Mullins
  • Shea Mannings

Media Watch - Love Island 2025

For those of you who were around for our I'm A Celebrity or Love Island All Stars odd watches and tips, welcome back to Media Watch! If you weren't with us for that, do not worry. This area does what it says on the tin; we take a look at some of the big stories of the past few days in one place to potentially help with any selections.

So much has happened this week, but it feels right to start things off with the big news: Harrison and Lauren leaving the villa. It has been the story of the past few days, with the 'Young Bull' going between her and Toni.

However, after recoupling with the American, he moved back to pursue things with Lauren, leaving him to exit the villa after her dumping, as the MEN writes.

As has been the case with the Derbyshire islander all season, fans were unhappy with the amount of screentime given to his departure, as the Daily Star relays. There can be no denying that it has added more drama to things, though, which is what producers will probably have hoped for.

Then, things have kicked off once again, after the kissing challenge. Cosmopolitan wrote how Harry's head had turned for the new bombshell earlier this week, and after the challenge, this may be true.

In fact, The Mirror write that Helena is questioning things, with another triangle seemingly opening.

Finally, things ended with Yasmin asking Dejon to speak about his disrespectful performance in the challenge. However, he refused, leading BristolLive to state that the villa has 'erupted'. It will be interesting to see where things pick up there!

Who Is the Favourite to Win Love Island?

I start this section every update now with the same thing, and it is difficult not to do the same here again. It is so, so tough to call this year's winner, but it is starting to become a little easier, I think.

The couples markets, despite being a bit hit and miss, are open and seem to be in line with other odds. So, we will evaluate these.

Yasmin and Jamie are the favourites to win as a couple, whilst also being Top Male and Top Female, as you would expect. Both have gotten closer in the past few days, and despite a bump, they are going very strongly.

Following them are Shakira and Conor, who are priced at 5/2. A few days ago, they seemed to be a little stronger, but they have drifted slightly. Of course, there is still time for this to change, though.

Finally, Toni and Cash and Harry and Helena are contesting for that third spot. However, neither is really a 'strong' option in my eyes.

If you are going to back a couple to win, there is significantly more value in doing so in doubles, pairing the 'Top Male' and 'Top Female' odds. Good luck with any selections!
