Right now, you could argue that the League Two title race is the best in England. Five points separate the top 13, four for the top 10 and two points for the top six. Ridiculous, brilliant, League Two.
Below, we have collected the top teams and their respective odds to win the title in the 2025/26 League Two season.

Where do you start, where do you stop. The League Two title race is fantastic, and it is incredibly difficult to actually discuss the top.
Despite two losses in their last two games, Walsall sit at the top of the league, at least for now. However, they are certainly making it difficult for themselves again. Last season, they looked certain to go up, but they slowed massively.
They could be six points clear now, if it were not for two slips recently. However, for the neutrals, it is so much more interesting because they haven't. Their price looks somewhat intriguing at 9/1, I must say...
Swindon are the only team level on points with the Saddlers, and again, they could be clear at the top had they won their last two games. Rather than two losses and a draw, they have drawn their last two, losing their third last.
Being held by Colchester at home is a really poor result for Ian Holloway's side, one would have to say. Especially given the chance they had to go top. Nevertheless, they are still in a fantastic position.
Salford then wrap up the top three, and they are the closest rivals, being the only team on 25 points. If Walsall have lost their last two, Swindon have drawn, it only makes sense that Salford have two wins.
Goals from Kallum Cesay and Daniel Udoh were the difference on Saturday, and they are in fine form. Karl Robinson's side look like a pretty strong choice for promotion at this point, and with a one-point buffer, they will hope to create some safety in the next few weeks.
The bookmakers don't seem to agree too much, yet, with them still available at 9/4 to go up.
Below, we have collected the top teams - aside from the big favourites - and their respective odds to finish top 7 in the 2025/26 League Two season.

Again, where does one end in this section? We'll start with MK Dons, who, like several others, could feature in the title scene at this rate. Unfortunately for them, though, they missed a chance to go top due to a narrow defeat against Bromley this weekend.
They remain the favourites to win the league, but 10/11 for promotion looks a good bet right now. In fairness, 1/3 for a top-seven place could even be a nice booster, should you prefer a little less risk.
Notts County follow, after they picked up three points against Cambridge at the weekend. Before the start of the games, they were separated by only a place; that has now changed to an eight-point gap. Just reinforcing how much of a joke this league is currently, and it's great to watch.
Wins for Crewe, Fleetwood and Bromley have gotten them back into the conversation for the play-offs, with the latter two points away from the top seven and a point behind the others.
However, despite their poor results this weekend, it would remain difficult to look past Grimsby and Chesterfield for the top seven places. The Mariners are the second favourites for a place in the play-offs at the end of the season, whilst the Spireites are 8/11, both of which seem to be decent opportunities still.
Whilst their forms have been a little up and down in the past few weeks, they remain two of my biggest fancies in the division.
However, if they are not careful, they could quickly slip with several teams lying in wait to take their places. After all, only two points separate seventh-placed Chesterfield and 13th-placed Cambridge. Quite ridiculous, really!

At the bottom, where wins are normally tough to come by, the teams decided to shake things up and start closing the gap.
So, we begin with Newport, who grabbed a third win of the season against Harrogate at the weekend. A 3-0 dismantling is certainly a bit of a shock, considering where County are. However, it is Harrogate's fourth loss in a row, which makes it less of a surprise.
Nevertheless, they remain at the bottom of the league, as Crawley also managed to win. Their result, somehow, was even more impressive, as they put four past Bristol Rovers, who, despite finishing the game with 10 men, never looked to be in the game.
Shrewsbury's draw has stopped them from entering the bottom two, whilst a draw in midweek for Accrington Stanley has also helped them evade the pressure a little. Finally, Cheltenham added a third win in four games, as they took their unbeaten streak to four games to now sit three points off of bottom.
We've focused on the gap at the top a lot. However, from the bottom to 17th, there are only five points. Several teams that might want to be looking up may actually need to be looking down. This is genuinely one of the best-looking divisions - entertainment-wise - in Europe, currently.
