The 2025 German Darts Grand Prix continues today with another double session in Munich. The seeded players enter the fray on day 2 as Rob Cross and Michael Smith headline the Afternoon session, whilst Gerwyn Price, Jonny Clayton, and Luke Littler will be amongst the headliners in the Evening.
Damon Heta has been his usual consistent self on the PDC Tour and picked up his first title of the season on Monday at PC13. Four quarter-finals in all competitions so far this year is solid form, and he comes into this weekend high on confidence.
Ryan Joyce had a fabulous run to the final of the European Darts Trophy in March, eventually losing out to Nathan Aspinall 8-4 in the final. That's his only good run of note, however, and he's failed to progress past the last 16 in any other event this season.
Damon Heta is one of the most prolific maximum hitters on tour, and I'm surprised to see his price for most 180s here. It offers fantastic value, especially as Joyce hit just ten in six matches during his run to the final of Euro Tour 2 and hit only one in his victory yesterday.

Joe Cullen looked back to his best at the start of the season after a run to the final of PC01 and then winning PC05 in March. Since then, he's been really poor and hasn't progressed further than the last 32 in any ranking event. The Rockstar was whitewashed 6-0 by Ryan Joyce in his opening game at Euro Tour 2 and averaged just 81.41. He followed that up with another defeat in Euro Tour 3 against Nathan Aspinall 6-1, averaging just 80.11. These are worrying signs again for Cullen, and he needs to improve quickly to avoid defeat here.
Mickey Mansell averaged 87.98 in his 6-4 victory over Ritchie Edhouse. Yesterday's performance was very solid and exactly what you'd expect from him. The Northern Irishman is 4-3 up in head-to-heads against Cullen and can take advantage of the inconsistent Englishman here.

Peter Wright's form has been hit and miss again in 2025, but when he's playing well, he still looks able to compete with the sport's elite. Snakebite has continually stated he isn't finished yet, and after a final, two quarter-finals, and a semi-final so far this year, he sounds right. Unfortunately, though, results in between have been poor, and he comes into Munich this weekend after back-to-back first-round exits at PC13 and PC14 earlier in the week.
Mike De Decker looks to have recovered well after the disappointment of missing out on Premier League selection. He made it to the final of the Belgian Darts Open in front of his home crowd in March and has had two semi-final runs since then. The Belgian beat Johan Engstrom 6-3 yesterday with a 91.25 average, but I expect him to play much better tonight.
Peter Wright leads the head-to-head 6-3 between these two, but the Belgian has beaten Snakebite in their last three meetings. Two of those have come this year, and the last was a 6-4 victory in the European Darts Trophy at the end of March.
