2025 German Darts Grand Prix: Day 2 Betting Tips

• Cameron Menzies To Win: 6/5 at Spreadex

Ryan Searle has struggled for consistency this season, but did pick up a title early in the year at PC04 IN February. He hasn't looked his usual self since his 10-0 whitewash defeat against Luke Humphries at the UK Open. Since that match, he's made it to just one quarter-final, which isn't good enough for a player of his ability.

Cameron Menzies continues to impress, and after picking up his second PDC title at PC11, he has decided to quit work and concentrate on Darts full-time. It seems the obvious choice, especially after how he has played so far this season. The Scotsman has a 72% win rate in 2025 and a running average of 94.85. A quarter-final and a last 16 in the last two European Tour events prove how dangerous he has become.

Ryan Searle did win the pairs-only encounter this year in the final of PC04 in February, but Menzies looks a much better player now and is arguably one of the best players in the World coming into Munich this weekend.

• Mickey Mansell To Win: 5/4 at Ladbrokes

Joe Cullen looked back to his best at the start of the season after a run to the final of PC01 and then winning PC05 in March. Since then, he's been really poor and hasn't progressed further than the last 32 in any ranking event. The Rockstar was whitewashed 6-0 by Ryan Joyce in his opening game at Euro Tour 2 and averaged just 81.41. He followed that up with another defeat in Euro Tour 3 against Nathan Aspinall 6-1, averaging just 80.11. These are worrying signs again for Cullen, and he needs to improve quickly to avoid defeat here.

Mickey Mansell averaged 87.98 in his 6-4 victory over Ritchie Edhouse. Yesterday's performance was very solid and exactly what you'd expect from him. The Northern Irishman is 4-3 up in head-to-heads against Cullen and can take advantage of the inconsistent Englishman here.

• Michael Smith To Win: 5/6 at Spreadex

Michael Smith is beginning to show signs of a return to form and comes to Munich with two semi-final runs in his last six PDC events. He also had a quarter-final run in the UK Open in March and has a running average of 94.94 in 2025.

Krzysztof Ratajski battled well yesterday to come through a last-leg decider 6-5 against Mensur Suljovic, averaging 96.70. That was a big win for the Polish Eagle after losing seven of his last eight games on tour.

Michael Smith looks like he's starting to find his rhythm again, and if that continues, he'll push back up the rankings quickly. Ratajski has been completely out of form before his win yesterday, and Smith looks the more confident coming into today, and I expect him to have too much here.

• Niels Zonneveled Most 180s: 10/11 at Betfred

James Wade comes into this tournament on the back of a quarter-final run on Tuesday in PC14. He's had a fairly consistent season and had a run to the semi-final at the Belgian Darts Open. The Machine also had a fabulous run to the final of the UK Open, and it's clear he still remains extremely dangerous on the big stage.

Niels Zonneveld continued his great form after a 6-3 victory over Daryl Gurney yesterday, averaging 95.61 and six maximums.

Wade has never been the biggest 180 hitter, and the price for Zonneveld most 180s looks like great value, especially after hitting six in the first round.
