It's time for finals night at the 2025 European Darts Grand Prix, with the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final all played in one session. It's usually a gruelling evening, so survival of the fittest is the aim of the game.
Martin Lukeman fought back from 5-1 down to stun Raymond van Barneveld and win 6-5. Smash hit six 180s and averaged 102.91 to win his first last 16 match of the season. He faces a very different prospect tonight, though, and will have to try and keep as close as he can to the high-scoring Scot.
Gary Anderson hit just 6/23 darts at a double during his 6-3 win over Rob Cross, but he was in cruise control for the majority of the match. He looks up for this, and I think he may well go on to defend his title in Sindelfingen.
The Flying Scotsman has hit 15 maximums in two matches during this tournament, and the value looks great for him to hit more than 3.5 here.
James Wade was never pushed in his last 16 encounter after Niels Zonneveld was completely off the boil. It was a typical Wade performance, though, as he just beats what's in front of him, and breezed through 6-2 with an 86.75 average.
Dirk van Duijvenbode is back to his brilliant best and registered another huge average during in last 16 win over Martin Schindler. It was a real statement performance from the big Dutchman, hitting six 180s and a 111.66 average.
Wade is forever so hard to count out, but Dirk really does look back to his best, and I think The Machine will struggle to keep up with the Dutchman's scoring power.

Peter Wright continues to go under the radar and win matches. He will like it that way, too, after being written off by so many pundits. He played well again this afternoon and held himself to win a last-leg decider against the dangerous Cameron Menzies. Snakebite hit five 180s and averaged 99.71, and if he continues like that, he'll fancy his chances of going all the way tonight.
Andrew Gilding was in blistering form during his last 16 victory over Danny Noppert. Goldfinger hit five 180s and averaged 110.77, which certainly won't go unnoticed. Gilding has shown far too much inconsistency over the last few months, but when he's on his game, he can beat anyone in this sport.
I think this will be a close game, and after both players hit 180s for fun earlier, over 5.5 180s looks a certainty.

Luke Woodhouse pulled off a shock 6-3 victory over in-form Ross Smith in the last 16, averaging 98.91. Woody clearly has huge ability, but he just needs to settle when things aren't going well.
Michael Smith played one of the best matches of his season to dump out World Number 1, Luke Humphries, 6-5. Bully Boy hit four 180s and averaged 106.53, which will no doubt build his confidence after struggling yesterday.
This is a huge opportunity for Michael Smith to get his career back on track, and if he plays like he did this afternoon, he should come through this tie unscathed. This contest is all about Bully Boy, though, and he needs to get out of the blocks quickly to keep his confidence high.
