Both players have had fantastic tournaments so far, especially Martin Schindler, who is finally showing what he can do on the big stage after back-to-back 96+ averages.
Ryan Searle has been as solid as always and has done well after coming off an under-par season for his standards.
These two have hit 18 maximums between them in the opening two matches, and I expect another 180 fest here, especially as it should be a close encounter.

Damon Heta and Rob Cross both come into this tournament with question marks hanging over them after poor seasons, but have both responded well to the criticism. It's not been vintage from either of them, but they have got the job done and now have a great chance to reach the last 16.
Heta, for me, has looked the most tense and had to battle hard in both matches he has won, especially against Stefan Bellmont in round two.
Rob Cross has cruised through, but is yet to be tested, with each of his opponents averaging in the 80s. Voltage will know the Aussie will more often than not average over 95, so he'll need to be on his toes.
Experience is key in these situations at Ally Pally, and so I expect Cross to be more relaxed because Heta has only reached round four on one occasion here.

Gary Anderson produced a vintage performance in round two, hitting 9 maximums and a 105.41 to beat Connor Scutt 3-1. That's now 15 180s in two matches for the Scot, and he's looking like a dangerous prospect in this form.
Jermaine Wattimena relinquished a 2-0 lead against Scott Williams in the previous round, but held his nerve well in the final set to win it 3-0. The Dutchman was also 2-1 down in round one against Dominik Gruellich but battled back to win 3-2.
Wattimena won't be given the luxury of giving away leads or starting slowly against Anderson in this mood, and if Gary gets off to a flyer, this could easily turn into a rout.

Gian van Veen produced a mesmerising performance in round two, averaging 108.28 during his 3-1 victory over Alan Soutar. The European Champion has certainly laid down the marker to the rest of the field and looks a huge contender in this year's World Championship.
Madars Razma did well to come through a tough match against Darren Beveridge, winning 3-1 to reach round 3 for the third consecutive year.
Gian van Veen should breeze through this contest based on how he's been playing this season. If he comes through in straight sets, there will be a low amount of maximums, simply because the Latvian plays on the 19s most of the time. The Danger is that the Dutchman goes nuts and fires in over 9.5 180s himself, but 1/1 looks a fantastic price for him, not too.

Gabriel Clemens is yet to lose a set at this years World Championship, and was extremely impressive in round two, dispatching the dangerous Wessel Nijman 3-0. The German Giant will no doubt have plenty of German support in the crowd, but he faces a tough test in the shape of World Number 2 Luke Humphries.
Cool Hand has breezed through to the last 32, losing just one set in round one. He's looking good and showed his class in round two, beating Paul Lim 3-0, losing one leg in the process.
Clemens has played really well to get to this stage, especially after such a poor season. This, however, is a completely differeny prospect, and i expect Humphries to be dominant and come through this tie comfortably.
