We have, in recent years, seen an influx of new betting apps, and Quinnbet is one of the latest to come to the UK market - however, like many others, it has previously had success elsewhere. Founded by Sean Quin in 2016, the site targeted success in the United Kingdom just a year later, and it has certainly had an up and down journey so far.
Sponsorships of multiple sports teams and horse racing have helped the Irish brand rise a little, and with the FSB Tech partnership, the sportsbook has been regularly seen as one of the better new options. However, this has now changed after changing to the services of Pragmatic, with things now seeming quite bleak for Quinnbet, admittedly.
Unfortunately, regardless of the sportsbook provider, the reviews are not positive with the app. On the iOS App Store, the bookmaker has a rating of just 2.1, and things are only marginally better on the Google Play store with a rating of 2.3.
In the reviews, customers complain about things such as the bonus rates, the customer service and even issues getting into the app. So, let's take a look if these reviews are justified.

If you are looking to sign up on QuinnBet through the app, you can follow our step-by-step guide on how to do so below:
Once on the app, simply tap the 'Join' golden button in the top right corner of the page, and you will be ready to start the sign-up process for Quinnbet.
In the first step of the registration, you will be asked to enter your personal information such as full name and date of birth. You will also need to provide a telephone number. Tap on 'Continue' once that is done.
In the final step of the registration, you will be asked to provide your email address and choose the details (username, password) for your account at QuinnBet. Here, you can also enter a coupon code.
Before you can tap on 'Complete', you will also have to accept the T&Cs and opt in/out of marketing messages.
Unfortunately, there is a lot left to be desired with the financial side of Quinnbet, as the site lacks a lot of payment methods. When we tested the app, we were only given one option for deposits, that being debit cards.
As a result, if you wish to use an e-wallet, you will be better served elsewhere, and with the recent regression in the sportsbook, we would be surprised if e-wallets were added anytime soon.
Below, we have collected everything you need to know about deposits and withdrawals on the Quinnbet app:

If you are new to the Quinnbet app and would like some assistance with depositing funds, you can follow our step-by-step guide below:
After loading the Quinnbet app, simply tap the profile icon in the top right corner and a menu will emerge. Following this, tap the 'Deposit' option in said menu.
To kick the deposit off, you will be asked to provide your billing address. Quinnbet allows you to enter your postal code and then select your address from a drop menu, making the process much quicker, which is appreciated.
The final step of the process involves picking the payment method that you would like to deposit with. When we tested the process, we chose to use a Visa debit card. Enter your deposit amount - we opted for £10 - and card details, before tapping on the 'Deposit' option at the bottom.
You will now be brought to a confirmation page, showing the details of the deposit that you just made. To get started with the betting, simply tap on 'Bet Now' to get to the sportsbook.
If you are unsure about how to withdraw funds on the Quinnbet app, you can follow our step-by-step guide below for some assistance:
Open up the app and tap in the top right corner of the screen. This will pull up the profile section of Quinnbet, and then you need to tap on 'Withdraw' in the menu.
Once the cashier has been reached, simply enter your withdrawal amount and then tap the green withdrawal option. Given that we withdrew the £10 we deposited with a debit card, we could only withdraw to the same method as per gambling regulations in the UK.
In our test, it took three hours for the funds to reach our bank account. However, as we could see on the account history page of the app, the processing on Quinnbet's end was completed within just a few minutes. This left us feeling very satisfied with the process.
Unlike some of the site's sister sites, Quinnbet aims to offer quite a complete sportsbook, rather than focusing on one sport - which is horse racing for BetGoodwin and Fitzdares. However, there can be faults found quite easily with this independent Irish-owned brand.
At the start of 2025, the ownership group opted to change sportsbook providers to Pragmatic - moving away from the FSB Tech sportsbook which had served the site quite well until that point, so the move away is certainly a bit of a shock.
Navigation within the app is quite easy, and can be done via the 'Quick Links' area shown immediately on the home page, which shows a range of sports and fixtures - depending on what is most popular at that time.
If you are not able to find the sport that you are looking for though, there is no need to panic, and the 'Menu' area - found in the bottom left - allows for easy navigation, which is always a big pointer, we must admit.
Unfortunately, there is a chance that the sport you are looking for may no longer be available, as a result of the aforementioned sportsbook change. Previously around 30 sports were on offer, but now, only 22 sports are offered, which is certainly a hit. Furthermore, the 'Specials', 'Politics' and 'TV' areas have now gone.
When looking for fixtures within a certain sport, it is very simple, and we can give the app credit here, as it does not make you jump through hoops to easily findable areas. However, to make things even simpler, you can search for key terms to find fixtures quicker - for example, we searched 'Manchester' and Manchester United's fixtures showed up.
Creating Bet Builders is quite easy to do, and the interface here is quite nice and sleek, which is always a good thing, which ticks another box. However, the actual options are quite poor, so we would instead look to the best Bet Builder providers, rather than using Quinnbet.
Despite not having a clear focus on horse racing, the site does still offer it, but the available selections are quite limited. However, a wide range of fixtures arguably makes up for this - though, experienced racing punters may want to head to Fitzdares, for example.
Sports is, without a doubt, the key focus of the site, but offering a casino is integral to any successful mobile betting app nowadays, and not only do Quinnbet do this, but it also makes the area easily accessible.
Named next to the 'Sports' tab, entering the casino can be done in just a click, and from the get-go, there is a nice range of games on offer. However, this can arguably be expected with Pragmatic, a big name in the casino industry, taking over the sportsbook.
Getting support is also really simple with the new app interface, however, the options are quite limited. This is not necessarily a bad thing.
We have often seen apps struggle to effectively show their FAQ area, or just support options in general. However, Quinnbet just display its support option at the bottom, meaning it is always easily accessible.
Tapping the 'Support' option connects you with an 'AI-generated' chat-bot, which is not fantastic, however, it acts as a middle man between the FAQ area and speaking to someone. If needed though, you can ask to speak to an advisor, and expect a quick connection time.
Starting with giving credit where it is due, I have to admit that the app is slightly better than the website, however, this is more down to the faults of the site, than the actual app itself - the menus load quicker and there is not a lengthy delay to get into the app, like there is online.
In terms of the actual app itself, I'd say it's fine, which potentially is slightly harsh, but it is probably the most apt description for things. It does a job, but it does not really incentivise me to come back to the app on a regular basis.
I'd maybe say the reviews are likely a little harsh, and serve as a review of the bookmaker, rather than the app itself. However, it is understandable and completely fair to review in this instance. Whilst I'd maybe not be as harsh, with the recent updates, I'd be inclined to avoid.
