Spreadex comes into the app game at somewhat of an advantage already, being one of the best spread betting options on the market, so there will automatically be more interest in having this option available at your fingertips.
With that said, though, this does not make the app good by default, and customers would happily look elsewhere if the option is not up to scratch. So, let's start with the basics of the Spreadex app.
Put simply, it does what it says on the tin, and betting on spread markets or regular markets is quite easy, though it can be somewhat confusing at times. This could be off-putting for anyone looking to start spread betting themselves.
Available on both the iOS Store and Android Store, the app boasts a strong average rating of 4.5 stars, with users on the Play Store viewing the app slightly better than Apple users, with a rating of 4.7.
This puts the app among the best-rated options we have seen across the board, which is certainly worth noting.

If you would like to find out how to register on the Spreadex App, you can follow our step-by-step guide below:
You can use our link at the top of this page, or the 'Visit' one in the bottom banner, which will bring you straight to the exclusive welcome offer and the registration process.
In the first step of the registration, you will be asked to provide some personal information, such as your name, Date of Birth and some contact information.
Once done with this top part, scroll down and you will find the section about your account details. Here is where you will provide an email address and create a password.
Following that you will need to head to the second page of the sign up, and this is where you will be asked for your address, and a security question to lock up your account.
Finally, confirm what marketing preferences you would or wouldn't like to receive and sign-up for an account.
There is quite a lot of good to say about transactions on Spreadex, and it starts with the minimum deposit, which stands at £1. This makes the site a very interesting option, with only a few other bookmakers offering a similar generosity. Additionally, payments are very quick, with Visa customers getting withdrawals in less than 30 minutes.
Having said that, the fact that there are only two methods of payment available for customers is a real disappointment - adding an, or better yet, some e-wallet options could be a real boost in the future, for example. Below, we have collected everything you need to know about deposits and withdrawals on the Spreadex app:

If you are new to the Spreadex app and would like some assistance with depositing funds, you can follow our step-by-step guide below:
After logging in to your SpreadEx Sports account, if you want to make a deposit, the next step is to access the 'Profile' menu. This can be done by tapping the icon in the top right corner of your device's screen.
Once in this area, the next step is to tap the 'Deposit' option which will be highlighted in the menu.
When you have reached the cashier, the next step is to select your deposit method and then proceed to enter the details for said method. We would recommend using a debit card - which is what we did - on your first deposit to make the most of the sign-up bonus.
Finally, enter your deposit amount, and confirm that you understand the terms and conditions of depositing money into your Spreadex Sports account. Then, tap the deposit option.
If you are unsure about how to withdraw funds on the Spreadex app, you can follow our step-by-step guide below for some assistance:
Withdrawals can be completed using the mobile app - which we used - or the website. To start the process, tap the 'Profile' icon shown in the top right corner of the page or screen.
Once you have entered the profile area, next you must tap the 'Withdrawal funds' option from the menu, and you will be taken to the cashier.
Now that the cashier has been reached, you will be offered the choice of which method you would like to use to withdraw your funds. After doing so, enter the withdrawal amount.
Finally, tap the 'Withdraw' button shown at the bottom of the screen, and wait for the funds to reach your account. Thankfully, we were not kept waiting long, as we received the money within 20 minutes! As such, it only stayed in the 'Pending Withdrawals' section for a very short time.
For me, the Spreadex app instantly puts itself at a disadvantage simply due to presentation. While that may sound harsh, you want to leave an impression from the start, and I feel that it does not do that.
The interface feels quite cluttered and has a bit too much information readily available, which takes away from its purpose. It's an area where the app can definitely improve from the start.
The big thing, though, is that there is seemingly no direct focus on pushing people towards spread betting, which is the big selling point of the operator. So, it should be front and centre, and it does not appear to be this way.
Instead, customers can toggle between spread betting markets and fixed odds markets, and I think it would be better if there were a separate 'area' of the app, solely based on the fixed odds, making it so you can almost shoehorn customers into one area or another.
Of course, having the two easily accessible is nice. However, when you are in a niche market like Spreadex, it almost feels like it's being hidden away, or put alongside traditional betting, which feels almost backwards.
Sports can be accessed directly from the homescreen, via the scrollable bar at the top of the screen. However, if you are looking for a specific fixture or market, you can use the search bar in the top left corner.
Betting on football brings an alright experience, though other bookmakers certainly offer better solutions in terms of browsing the different markets. There are a number of different markets available for every level of fixture, at least, and this is only a positive.
Additionally, despite our criticisms of the app, building a bet with Spreadex's app is a good experience. The process is quick and easy, and finding the different markets on offer is extremely simple.
For any horse racing fans, there is a nice range of UK, Irish and International races available, and streaming is available on a range of different fixtures, which is always an added bonus to using a betting site.
Despite having a Casino tab in the app, there is no in-app casino area for players to play on, which is certainly a small downside of the app.
The website which you are taken to also isn't too pleasing on the eye, and feels quite basic. Which certainly is not a help, and this is certainly a downside, with most punters/players, myself included, looking for those 'all-in-one' apps.
To the app's credit, getting support when needed is very easy to do, and there are a number of different options offered to you, which is a real positive, as most normally only offer 1/2 services.
Imaginably, it is probably best to start in the 'Help and FAQs' area of the app, but this takes you to a website from the app, which is certainly not ideal. Also, there is no immediate search bar, so you may have to search a little to find what you want.
However, this is made up for in the customer support area. Accessed by the 'Contact Us' area in the 'More' area (found in the bottom right), customers can access a live chat, or email different teams; the Sports Team, the Customer Services Team and the Financial Trading Team.
There is also an option to visit the desktop site, if you would rather get support out of the app, which we were a fan of.
Compared to other betting apps in the UK, Spreadex is an OK option. It is not great, it is not awful, it is just kind of there, which may seem harsh, but it is the best way to describe it.
The interface is not great, even if it is effective and quite straight to the point, which is admittedly a bonus. However, it feels slightly jagged and a little cluttered. Also, there is no real selling point of the app, and the design is quite boring, which is not enticing.
Despite some moments of slowness, you can normally get around the app quite quickly and easily, so there are no complaints to be had there. Overall, it does a job, but it probably isn't going to be a mainstay for me.
