Bolstering the L&L network, Pub Casino & Sports launched in 2023 and has received decent feedback since. While there is a focus on casino, the sportsbook is provided by Altenar and thus guarantees a certain quality for sports punters. So, should you sign up? Our review takes a look at the pros and cons of the bookie.

Pub Sports may be new, having launched in 2023, but the backing of L&L Europe means it feels like a bookie that has been in the game for quite some time. The sportsbook and casino sections are both very impressive, especially the former as Altenar provides it. There is also a good selection of payment methods, while the betting margins are low at 5.52% on average.
There are still some things Pub Sports would work on, though. Above all, the lack of a welcome offer is a big shame as having one definitely would have enticed more sports punters. Furthermore, the 5% withdrawal fee - if you do not wager your deposit in full before withdrawing - will be frowned upon by most punters.
Launched in 2023, Pub Casino & Sports is one of the latest additions to the L&L Europe network, certainly categorised as one of the new UK betting sites. The bookmaker is operated under L&L's license with the UKGC, with account number 38758, and this means that it is completely safe for punters to sign up on the site.
The likes of All British Casino and Yeti Casino are sister sites of Pub Casino, which certainly adds legitimacy, and the sportsbook is provided by the well-known company Altenar. On Trustpilot, however, the site has a rather poor rating of 2.2/5 stars with customers complaining about the slots games. Most bookies have low scores on Trustpilot, though.
L&L is not as established as BV Gaming, for example, but the company has been in the game for quite some time now. As such, punters can sign up on the site without having to worry about the security, even if the casino games and sportsbook might not always be the best.
At the time of writing, Pub Casino does not have a welcome offer for the sportsbook. This is certainly something that the bookie will have to improve in order to attract more customers. After all, almost every betting site offers some sort of sign-up deal these days, from bet x get x to money-back arrangements.
Taking a look at the cashier of Pub Sports, there is a decent amount of payment methods and this might come as a surprise to some. After all, smaller betting sites do not tend to have many methods, right? Pub Sports, on the other hand, has multiple e-wallets in addition to the standard debit cards, which is very nice to see.
Below, we have collected everything you need to know about deposits at Pub Sports, from the methods accepted to the terms for each.
Payment Method | Min. Limit | Max. Limit | Transaction Fee | Processing Time |
---|---|---|---|---|
Visa | £10 | £2,500 | No fee | Instant |
Mastercard | £10 | £2,500 | No fee | Instant |
Paypal | £10 | £2,500 | No fee | Instant |
Trustly | £10 | £2,500 | No fee | Instant |
Skrill | £10 | £2,500 | No fee | Instant |
If you are new to Pub Sports, or the casino section for that matter, and would like to find out how to deposit money into an account, you can follow our guide below.
Once you have entered the site or app, tap the wallet icon in the bottom left corner of the screen to enter the cashier tab, and then tap the 'Deposit' option.
Apple Pay, Debit Card, Paypal, Skrill and Trustly are the five options available for customers, which is very nice. As always, we used a debit card in our test, Visa to be precise.
After choosing which payment method you want to use, enter your card/e-wallet details.
The final step is to enter your name, and if you have one, a bonus code. Then, all that is needed is for you to push 'Deposit' and the funds will be transferred to your account.
The list of withdrawal methods is exactly the same as the one for deposits at Pub Sports. However, there is one thing to note. Unless you wager your deposit amount at least once, an attempted withdrawal may be penalised with a 5% fee. Pub Sports was kind enough to void this during our test, but it should be taken into account for sure.

If you are new to Pub Sports, or the casino section for that matter, and would like to find out how to withdraw money from an account, you can follow our guide below.
After creating an account, or signing in to your account, tap the wallet badge shown in the bottom left corner of the screen to show the cashier. Then, tap the 'Withdrawal' option to begin the request.
For anyone who banks with Natwest, this step is a concern for you as the site asks that you use Trustly or Bank Transfer to complete your transaction, rather than using a debit payment. Certainly a rarity.
Proceed as normal if you are not with Natwest and tap the method which you would like to use. Then, in the cashier itself, enter the amount that you would like to withdraw, and simply tap the option to do so.
Withdrawals are usually quite quick. However, if your request is taking longer to finalise, head to the profile area via the icon in the bottom right corner. Then, select 'Transactions' to see the status of your withdrawal.
Since the site is mainly called Pub Casino and not Pub Sports, it is not hard to tell what the big focus is. On the other hand, the sportsbook of the site is provided by Altenar, which also has a partnership with the likeable Lottoland. If you only look at the sportsbooks, therefore, you could even consider Lottoland as a sister site.
As you would expect with the above in mind, the sportsbook is comprehensive and there is decent market depth for almost all sports. Starting on the football side of things, the popular markets can be found for Premier League games and other competitions, while there is also a bet builder tool which does the job.
On the horse racing side of things, the layout is good and there are international races to bet on, but we could not find any UK meetings during our rest. This is very disappointing as most punters will want to be on UK races rather than international ones. There also does not appear to be any mention of best odds guaranteed, so Pub Sports lags behind the best horse racing bookies.
Of course, we also tested the betting margins of Pub Sports as this is a very important part of comparing it with the best bookies on the market. The average came out to 5.52% and that is indeed very good, up there with some of the lowest margins. Knowing that Pub Sports does not charge too much for bets is great.
Special markets are also available on the site, with everything from politics to odds for Dancing on Ice, and the Esports offering is very good too. The sportsbook is very comprehensive, in other words, and one wonders how big Pub Sports could have been with a welcome offer. Only time will tell, because we imagine there will be one eventually.
Even though the sportsbook provider is the same, i.e. Altenar, we feel that the design of Pub Sports is not on par with Lottoland. This is also a complaint we had about the sister site All British Casino, so L&L should take some time to really perfect the product provided by Altenar. On the other hand, the sportsbook is easy to navigate and that is the most important thing.
Those who are thinking about creating an account at All British Sports should know that the bookie has covered the customer support bases. Indeed, the support staff can be contacted via live chat, email and telephone if there is ever an issue that needs to be dealt with. This should be the standard, in our opinion, but All British still deserves praise.
