Mr Ben Review (2025): UK Tests & Player Ratings

Avoid As of December 2025, Mr Ben no longer offers a sportsbook for UK punters, making it a casino-only brand.

Created in 2025, Mr Ben is one of the most recent gambling sites to enter the UK market. Featuring a sportsbook and a casino, it offers most of what a customer may look for in a new bookmaker.

In this review, we put the site to the test by signing up, verifying our account, depositing real money, placing bets and withdrawing funds. All to give you a full, honest look at what it's really like to play at Mr Ben, and whether it competes with other options on the market.

Why Trust Our Reviews?

At BettingLounge.co.uk, we believe that trust is earned through transparency, experience, and expertise. Our team of experts, with over 20 years of collective experience in the sports betting industry, follows a rigorous 7-point evaluation process to ensure our reviews are accurate, unbiased, and up-to-date.

Our hands-on methodology covers:

  • Sign-Up & Verification: Ease, Speed, KYC requirements.
  • Licence & Reputation: In-depth checks of UKGC licensing, operator history, fines, and player protection tools, going beyond basic compliance.
  • Real-World Testing: We personally sign up, deposit, place bets, and withdraw funds to assess the full betting experience.
  • Value Assessment: Detailed analysis of betting offers, promotions (for new and existing customers), odds, and betting margins.
  • User Experience: Evaluation of live betting, streaming, mobile apps, and the breadth/depth of sports markets.
  • Customer Support: Testing responsiveness, availability (e.g., 24/7 live chat), and contact methods.
  • Real Player Feedback: We cross-reference expert findings with genuine player reviews and complaints from sources like Trustpilot, the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.

Our overall score is a weighted combination of our expert ratings and extensive real-world player feedback. We actively collect and analyse review scores and comments from Trustpilot, both App Stores, and directly from our community here on BettingLounge.co.uk. This ensures our comprehensive assessments reflect both our in-depth testing and the collective experiences of thousands of real players.

We are partners with bookmakers, but we will never accept money to adjust the reviews or purposely write positive content. We are committed to providing our readers with honest and impartial information so they can make informed decisions about their betting activities. We rigorously evaluate numerous online betting sites in the UK, but recommend only a select few that meet our high standards.

New bookmakers have an incredibly tough job breaking into the betting industry nowadays, and Mr Ben is a fantastic example of that, as unfortunate as it may be.

There are certainly some positives to the brand, which is operated by White Hat Gaming. Notably, a 5.06% betting margin looks fantastic, and the range of different casino games available is solid.

However, the sportsbook is well below the level required to make it a competitor, and rather than bringing the site up, it actually knocks a fair bit of quality off of it. Perhaps it would have been better to launch as a casino and then add a bookmaker area.

About Mr Ben

Launched exclusively online, Mr Ben is one of the latest offerings for the UK market. In partnership with White Hat Gaming, the site was founded in 2025 by the company Mr Rocket, which also runs the site Mr Run.

Of course, thanks to the operator/platform provider, the site has some experience to fall back on. Indeed, White Hat Gaming has been in the casino industry for many years, moving into sports as well with the sportsbook provider Altenar in recent years, so you are in safe hands here.

In this review, we take a look at everything you need to know about this option. By the end, you should be able to make an informed decision about whether to sign up or not.

Is Mr Ben Legit and Safe?

🔒 Mr Ben's UKGC License: 52894

In the UK, bookmakers require a license to operate legally so this is the starting point for our safety checks. As expected, Mr Ben is completely licensed by the Gambling Commission, meaning it is a legitimate option.

📊 Mr Ben's Trustpilot Rating: - N/A

At the time of writing, there are only a few reviews of Mr Ben, so it is not fair to assess the Trustpilot rating just yet. Nevertheless, from the three that are currently available, the site has two one-star reviews and a five-star review. Not brilliant, but betting sites never have ratings to boast.

💰 Has Mr Ben Been Fined by the UKGC?

Although Mr Ben has only just launched, White Hat Gaming is an established operator and casino owner. So, there is plenty of history for the site.

Positively, we can see that the company has never been fined by the Gambling Commission for any reason, nor have they received any warnings. This, again, shows that the site is safe to use.

Mr Ben Deposit Methods

There are quite a few payment methods accepted at Mr Ben, which is rare to see for a newly launched bookmaker. The standard choices are available, whilst an e-wallet in Neteller is also offered.

The site requires you to deposit at least £10, which is a little poor, but we can look past this given the range of payment methods. Still, that amount will probably have to be lowered in the future. We have collected everything you need to know about deposits at Mr Ben below:

How to Deposit at Mr Ben

Depositing funds into a Mr Ben account is very easy, but we have put together a step-by-step guide if you need some assistance:

  • 1

    Go to the Deposit Cashier

Once you have logged into your account, you need to enter the 'Profile' area and then tap 'Deposit' from the options shown in the menu.

  • 2

    Choose Your Preferred Payment Method

Following this, you will be shown a list of payment methods, and you will need to make a choice of which you want to use. We opted to use a Visa debit card.

    Complete Deposit

Finally, enter your payment information and how much you would like to deposit and then make the payment. Given deposits are instant, you can get betting straight away.

Mr Ben Withdrawal Methods

When it comes to withdrawals, the £10 minimum remains and that is a little frustrating, especially since many new betting sites accept deposits lower than that (not to mention withdrawals!). Again, the list of methods saves Mr Ben here.

It should be noted that you have to withdraw funds to the same method you used for depositing, though this is considered standard procedure in the UK. Below, we have collected everything you need to know about the withdrawal methods at Mr Ben.

How to Withdraw from Mr Ben

If you are unfamiliar with the withdrawal process at Mr Ben, you can follow our step-by-step guide below:

  • 1

    Go to the Withdrawal Cashier

The withdrawal process is largely the same as the steps to deposit, and just as easy. So, again, you need to head to the 'Profile' area. Then, tap the 'Withdraw' option.

  • 2

    Enter the Withdrawal Amount

Following this, you will be asked to enter how much you would like to withdraw from your account. Additionally, for safety measures presumably, you will need to enter your Mr Ben password.

  • 3

    Request the Withdrawal

The last step is to request the withdrawal, and you will not have to wait too long to get your money. In fact, we received our money in 13 minutes thanks to our use of a Visa debit card (we assume).

How to Verify an Account at Mr Ben

Ensuring a customer is who they say they are is vital to bookmakers, and failing to do so is against the terms of their UKGC license. So, there needs to be a way to identify you as a player.

When signing up, the details you provide will be used in the 'Know Your Customer' process, and this is normally done automatically. However, there are occasions where this is not enough. In these cases, you can upload any of the following documents to verify yourself:

  • Proof of ID: National Driving License, National ID or Passport (picture page).
  • Proof of Address: Utility bill or bank statement not older than 3 months, showing the 4 corners/edges.

Mr Ben Sportsbook

When you enter the Mr Ben website, you are immediately met with the casino page, meaning you have to go through a step to reach the sportsbook. So, it almost feels like this area is not the primary focus from the outset (shocker!).

After entering the other side of the site, you are immediately left slightly underwhelmed, given that there are only 18 sports available, including e-sports. Additionally, there are no novelty markets like TV and entertainment odds.

Furthermore, everything is quite cluttered and navigation can be a little difficult at times, which does not benefit the user.

Mr Ben Sportsbook

Looking at the football markets, they are ok, but again, they are nowhere near those offered by the best football betting sites. Rather than featuring top fixtures, in-play games are prioritised, which is not the norm for a reason.

Horse racing is not offered by the bookmaker at all, so this is another area where Mr Ben falls well, well short. So, if betting on racing is a must for you, then you will want to check our page for the best horse racing bookies.

All in all, there is nothing much to really rate about Mr Ben as a bookmaking option. We'd steer clear.

Mr Ben Casino Review

With it primarily being a casino, then - or at least casino-focused - this section needed to wow us to really make it worth a positive review, but it didn't really.

Players can find a much better structure on this side of the site, and instantly, it is nicer and easier to navigate, which aids the experience. However, it feels lacking in personality, which does not create a draw.

You can scroll through the site's providers in alphabetical order, which is nice, especially given there are a lot to scroll through. However, you cannot search specifically for one studio.

On a positive note, though, the range of games is fairly impressive and with almost 3,000 slot games, you would expect this to be the case. New games like 'Le Santa', a remix of 'Le Bandit' and 'Big Bass Surf's Up' are available, alongside the classics.

Mr Ben Casino

When it comes to the 'Live Casino' area, things are just as strong, with navigation remaining easy and choices remaining extensive. Game shows and table games are available, so whether you're looking for the traditional or new casino experience, you can find it.

Mr Ben's Mobile App

Mr Ben is accessible on a mobile device, but as of November 2025, there is no mobile application. However, this is not really a shock, as most of the White Hat Gaming options are solely online/desktop options. There are some good betting apps to check out if that's a big priority for you.

Mr Ben Responsible Gambling

Ensuring that people gamble safely is one of the priorities for the UKGC, and bookmakers have a lot of responsibility to make sure they live up to this. The most notable way of doing so is with tools offered on site.

Mr Ben, as is required, offers a selection of options for customers, which range from small reminders to complete exclusion from its products:

  • Deposit limits (daily, weekly, monthly)
  • Reality check
  • Time-out
  • Self-exclusion
  • And more

Deposit limits and reality checks are normally enforced from when you open your account. So, this is a helpful reminder if nothing else. However, do not be afraid to use the other tools if you feel a more serious step needs to be taken.

It is worth noting that there are several links to gambling support charities listed in the bottom banner of Mr Ben, too.

Mr Ben Customer Support

There are a few ways of getting help at Mr Ben, and the options are pretty solid compared to a lot of new bookmakers and casinos. It starts with an FAQ area, which allows you to search for problems or scroll through a pre-made list.

Alternatively, if you need to speak to someone, you can email the site - with the email seen below - or contact the live chat.
