MapleBet Sports Review (2024)

MapleBet is a new online UK betting site launching in August 2020, and it is legal, licensed and operated by Progress Play Limited. PPL operates 50+ online gambling sites in the UK, providing a white-label UKGC licence, while also operating a full sportsbook and casino product from betting odds to customer service.

However, it is often difficult to find any information on the company behind the brand, and this is no different for MapleBet. Still, MapleBet is a legal online gambling product for UK customers and follows strict UK Gambling Commission regulations.

Before we dive into the Maplebet sports review, we believe it is important to note that you will be charged a £2.50 processing fee for each withdrawal. It is a shame to see, but it is the case on all Progress Play Limited brands including BazingaBet, Swishbet, 2kBet, Sponsiobet, Betsteve, Betdukes and many more.

MapleBet Sign Up Offer - Deposit £10 get £10

Maplebet has a bet £10 get £10 welcome offer for new customers from several different countries. Click through our link to see if the bonus is available in your country of residence.

But, it is important to note, that you can only claim one sign up bonus across the Progress Play Limited network. If you have already claimed a bonus on any of the other 50+ brands operated by PPL, you will not be able to claim this bonus.

If you have already claimed a signup offer on a PPL brand, we recommend checking out our list of exclusive betting offers worth over £2000 instead.

Sports, Markets & Betting Odds

MapleBet offers 30+ sports covering a wide range of sports including popular sports such as tennis, football, tennis, US sports, and niche sports such as table tennis, water polo and many more. But, it is important to note that the horse racing offering is limited, and there is no option to wager on greyhound racing either. Additionally, enthusiastic football punters might want to check out our top ten list instead.

Sports available:

  • Football
  • Horse racing (limited events and markets)
  • Tennis
  • Golf
  • Ice Hockey
  • Aussie Rules
  • Futsal
  • Chess
  • Handball
  • MMA
  • Snooker
  • Badminton
  • WWE
  • Cricket
  • Darts
  • Table Tennis
  • Hurling
  • Motorbikes
  • Formula 1
  • American Football
  • Esports
  • Basketball
  • Cycling
  • Netball
  • Pool
  • Baseball
  • Boxing
  • Air hockey
  • Volleyball
  • Rugby League/Union
  • NASCAR
  • Futsal

As for the betting markets, MapleBet offers 100+ popular sporting events, with the most markets available on top football leagues and competitions. But, there is no bet builder or request a bet feature, limited prop markets and those who want to stream events will have to choose one of the big bookmakers instead.

In terms of the betting margins, MapleBet averaged 5.31% in our independent tests, which is a little bit better than the industry average. Of course, we only test a small sample, but the margins struggle to compete with the best UK betting sites such as BetVictor, bet365 and others.

MapleBet Customer Support

Unfortunately, Maplebet does not offer 24/7 customer support, but, the opening hours are generous. However, there are only two methods of contact, a live chat, and an email contact form which are both available from 08:00 am - 12:00 am 7 days a week.

MapleBet Conclusion

Overall, MapleBet is a safe, legal new online sports betting site that offers competitive odds on 30+ sports, and 100's of betting markets. But, as the brand is still so new, there is obvious room for improvement including 24/7 support, a faster website, more betting markets, and some existing customer bonuses would be great.
