The LiveScore brand is a familiar sight to most punters as the LiveScore App is one of the best for keeping tabs on football games live. The launch of LiveScore Bet was thus a no-brainer for the parent company LiveScore Group, taking place at the end of 2020, and the bookmaker has gone from strength to strength since.
Prior to launching LiveScoreBet, more specifically in 2019, LiveScore partnered with Virgin to form the betting site Virgin Bet under the GameSys umbrella. A few months later, LiveScore emerged from the latter and formed the LiveScore Group, taking Virgin Bet with it. In other words, LiveScore Bet has a sister site and that is Virgin Bet.
First, however, let's take a look at what has made LiveScore Bet such a popular new betting site among UK punters.
The rise of LiveScore Bet is certainly linked to the success of the LiveScore App, but it must be said that the LiveScore Group has come up with a decent betting site here. A great welcome offer can be claimed by new customers, the sportsbook is very comprehensive and there are several nice promotions for existing customers.
The partnership with Kambi has helped boost the bookmaker's stance and I can understand why so many have signed up. Not to mention that live streaming is offered for several big football leagues, with LiveScore Bet being the third best for football streaming in the UK. More payment methods are also available compared to its sister, which is a draw.
Below, we take a closer look at the sister site, Virgin Bet. Since the sportsbooks are identical in many ways, we focus on the differences between the bookies.
Virgin Bet was launched in 2019 and given its already-established brand, with a fantastic reputation as well, the betting site quickly had a solid foundation of UK punters. So, with both Virgin Bet and LiveScore Bet using the same sportsbook technology, what makes the former stand out?
At the time of writing, the bookie has a worse welcome offer than its sister with £20 in free bets instead of £30, but the Virgin Bet Fives game is a big draw. This is a free-to-play game in which a punter must reveal five players that will make up its team, earning up to £50 in cash for every goal scored by these players.
Unfortunately, the betting margins are quite high at Virgin Bet as our test showed an average of 10.36%. It is the same at LiveScore Bet and this is worth pointing out as the best bookies have far lower betting margins, which can make a big difference in the long run. In any case, only the promotions separate the two bookies.
Below, we have collected everything you need to know about deposits and withdrawals on LiveScore Bet sister sites.

In 2023, the LiveScore Group entered into an agreement with the sportsbook provider Kambi and in May 2024, this new sportsbook technology was rolled out on LiveScore Bet and its sister site Virgin Bet. While the design is more or less the same, this has certainly bolstered the two bookies as there is greater market depth.
Other Kambi betting sites include BetMGM, Bet UK, LeoVegas and Unibet, so there are now some similarities between all of these. This is a huge step in the right direction for both LiveScore Bet and Virgin Bet as they look to strengthen their position in the UK market.
