Jeffbet UK Review (2024)

Sports fans in the UK may already have a lot of online bookmakers to pick from, but new betting sites are being launched all the time, with JeffBet one of the latest options to be offered.

JeffBet was granted an operating licence by the Gambling Commission in April, which gave the company the green light to start promoting its new sports betting site to customers in the UK.

Combining an online casino with a sports betting site, JeffBet has followed the same template as a lot of online bookmakers these days in ensuring that its users have a lot of good options. The site is another to be operated by ProgressPlay Limited, which means that the JeffBet online sportsbook is likely to have a very familiar feel to a lot of people who use top UK betting sites.

Those who are unfamiliar with JeffBet might have questions about the betting brand, such as what sports are available to bet on here before they decide whether or not to sign up at the site.

Our complete review of JeffBet has all the information you need, so read on for the full details.

Introduction to JeffBet

JeffBet became one of the first sports betting sites in 2022 to offer B2C betting services in the UK after the Gambling Commission gave it the green light with the awarding of its new licence.

"We are delighted to see the site go live after so much hard work and we really believe that there is a gap in the market to challenge the big brands and turn this into a show of force," said a spokesperson. "With many sportsbooks and casinos getting acquired in recent years, there are only a couple of big, standalone brands left in the UK market and this is where we feel that we can make a push and offer our target customers value and quality above anything else."

Visa, Mastercard and Maestro were included in the list of payment methods that can be used to make deposits at JeffBet along with e-wallets such as PayPal, Neteller and Skrill. Alternative options for those creating a new account include Paysafecard, PayviaPhone, ecoPayz and MuchBetter.

The latest 128-bit SSL encryption technology is in place at JeffBet too, which should help to reassure any UK sports fans who have concerns about how their data will be kept safe here. Anyone who has a problem with their account at JeffBet can get in touch with customer service at the site, which runs on a 24/7 basis via options such as a contact form, email or live chat.

Although JeffBet has not yet launched mobile betting apps to cater for customers in the UK, the mobile site has been developed and it works just as well for both Android and iOS devices. Those who are adamant about an app will have to check out the best ones on the market.

The online casino at JeffBet offers a wide array of types of games, with video slots, classic slots and progressive jackpot slots all available alongside the UK operator's sports betting site. So what can JeffBet's new customers expect from the sports betting site in particular? Let's take a look.

JeffBet Sportsbook Review

Promotions are how most new UK sports betting sites try to hook in fresh users, with JeffBet using the same tactics in an attempt to attract customers. The site is offering new players a bet £10 get £30 free bet if they sign up - in line with some of the very best betting bonuses around.

Up to £500 cashback is also offered on football and basketball bets too, so it is not just offered for new customers that are on the table at the JeffBet sportsbook. The site also has wager wars in place, a type of leaderboard for sports betting, as is the case on other ProgressPlay sites.

The sportsbook at JeffBet itself has a clean and simple design, with the navigation system the same as with other ProgressPlay sports betting sites in the UK. Football is the top sport to bet on here for sure - with a good depth of markets for the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, and Serie A - but sports such as rugby, cricket, tennis, basketball and ice hockey are all popular. However, while there is a list of sports on the left-hand side of the screen at JeffBet, they do not seem to act as links to the markets available, so navigation here can actually be challenging.

One of the common issues with ProgressPlay's UK sportsbooks is that they tend to lack horse racing and greyhound markets, with this problem also in place on the JeffBet site as well. Those who like to place a bet on greyhound racing, or experience the thrill of horse racing betting, will have to take a look at the alternatives we recommend.

Sports fans who have grown accustomed to being able to see live sports streams on their favourite sports betting site will also be let down at JeffBet, which does not have this function.

Live in-play betting is available, but the JeffBet sportsbook is very basic in this department when it is compared to some of the biggest and best online betting sites in the UK, such as Bet365. Cash-out options can still be found here for those who want to lock in some guaranteed profits, but unlike a lot of top betting brands these days it is not possible to take partial cash out just yet.

Odds at the new JeffBet sportsbook in the UK are not bad, but they do not seem to be up there with the best in the business for most of the sports offered. Golf odds are among the best here. It is even possible to use decimal, American, Hong Kong, Indonesian, or Malaysian odds as well as the usual traditional fractional prices, which are set as the default option for JeffBet's users.

JeffBet has made a special effort when it comes to esports - although the competition is fierce - which a lot of people within the world of internet gambling believe could well be the long-term future of the industry. Esports betting has its own special area at JeffBet, which also has esports betting bonuses in place. Dota 2 and CS:GO are among the top leading esports that it is possible to bet on at JeffBet.

All in all, JeffBet perhaps should not be judged too harshly given it is a very new UK sports betting site that has only been operating for a short amount of time. However, it has some of the same issues as other online bookmakers that are run by ProgressPlay Limited, such as a lack of markets for horse racing and greyhounds, as well as no live sports streams available to view.

JeffBet Casino Review

Not only does JeffBet run one of the UK's newest sports betting sites, but it is also home to a casino too. Users who sign up for an account at JeffBet get access to a huge range of top casino games.

As with the sportsbook site, JeffBet has a strong welcome bonus up for grabs for new users to claim. With 20 no-wagering free spins to use on the Rainbow Riches slot game, signing up for an account at JeffBet is likely to be very popular among those ready to test out a new casino.

Various other betting bonuses such as deposit boosts are offered too, while there are slots leaderboards for users to work their way up, as well as a rewards points programme as well. Customers at the JeffBet online casino complete fun missions to unlock rewards and every time that they make it up to the next tier in the rewards scheme, they will get access to better perks.

Slot games make up the majority of the titles included in the JeffBet online casino library, which works on the ProgressPlay casino platform that will be familiar to a lot of players in the UK. All in all, there are many hundreds of different slots to try here, from a variety of the very best studios and developers in the industry. NetEnt, Microgaming, Play'n GO and Red Tiger are just some of the famous iGaming companies that have their slots available to play on JeffBet's casino site, along with the likes of Pragmatic Play, Ezugi, Booming Games, Habanero and ELK Studios.

A section for new games is updated regularly, so those players who check out JeffBet's library will often see fresh titles in the library. Slots range from branded games to progressive jackpots, which often have an incredibly high potential win up for grabs, which catches the eye for sure. Anyone who has a favourite game they want to find can use the site's search function to hunt it.

Table games like blackjack and roulette are not ignored either, though it is likely JeffBet users will probably head to the site's impressive live casino if they are interested in games like this. At the JeffBet live casino, users will find a good choice of rooms to suit a range of budgets, with games such as baccarat and blackjack offered here. Football Studio is another game that can be played at the JeffBet live casino, with most of the titles here powered by Evolution Gaming. However, some of the live dealer games that players might be used to finding at UK online casinos, such as Cash or Crash, Deal Or No Deal and Monopoly, are not yet available here.

Poker players might be a little disappointed to see that the JeffBet casino does not yet offer a lot of variety for them, with no tournaments or dedicated poker area. Online bingo, which has grown in popularity at a rapid rate in the UK over the last few years, is also missing at the moment but it is possible that JeffBet will add online poker and online bingo in the near future.

The JeffBet online casino is very similar to a lot of the other UK sites run by ProgressPlay, so players who are familiar with the company's sister sites are likely to feel right at home here. Considering the fact the JeffBet online casino is new in the UK, its range of more than a thousand different games to test coupled with no wagering free spins means it is worth trying.

JeffBet Customer Support Options

There are a lot of JeffBet customer support options for those who need to get in touch with the site for whatever reason, while help is available on a 24/7 basis which is a tick in the box too.

A contact form is available to send in queries while email support is offered too, but most of the UK players who join the JeffBet online casino will probably opt to use the live chat option here.

Agents here tend to respond quickly - testing showed they could be contacted within a minute or so - which means that those checking out the live chat at JeffBet are likely to be very satisfied.

People with a small issue at JeffBet are advised to head to the site's frequently asked questions area as it is likely they will be able to find the answer they need here. In the FAQ here, JeffBet addresses common areas of concern such as how to go through the site's verification process. Verification at JeffBet takes up to three working days from the time the documents are sent.

It is worth pointing out that JeffBet customer support is offered in English, Finnish and Japanese.

JeffBet Payment Methods

A few different JeffBet payment methods can be used to add funds, with debit cards from each of Visa, MasterCard and Maestro all offered, though credit card deposits are no longer allowed.

E-wallets have become a very popular way to manage funds at online casinos in the UK, with JeffBet offering common options such as PayPal and ecoPayz within this specific category.

PayviaPhone and Paysafecard are among the top alternative options, with MuchBetter and Trustly also currently included on the list of JeffBet payment methods that can be used as well.

However, it is not possible to use cryptocurrency to make a deposit at JeffBet at this time. A lot of UK casino players now want to use crypto such as Bitcoin to add funds to their accounts, so this is something JeffBet may need to look into in the future to compete with rival casinos.

One of the headline issues surrounding JeffBet payment methods is the fact that the site charges a small fee for withdrawals, which is the case at other ProgressPlay online casinos and sports betting sites in the UK too. Users at JeffBet will see that £2.50 is taken as a fee here.

The minimum deposit for JeffBet payment methods is £10 for e-wallets, but it is set higher at £20 for some of the other banking options that are offered by the online casino and sportsbook. Some JeffBet payment methods also have a maximum withdrawal, with players who want to take out winnings via Trustly, for example, only able to take out up to £700 in a transaction.

The site notes withdrawals to debit cards can take up to seven business days, which is slow, while Neteller is listed as the fastest JeffBet payment method - this takes just a single day.

JeffBet FAQs

Many sports fans in the UK might be wondering if JeffBet is safe or a scam, especially as it is one of the newest sports betting sites in the country. Due to the fact that JeffBet has a licence to operate in the UK from the Gambling Commission, the site can be considered very safe to use.

JeffBet is operated by ProgressPlay Limited, a well-known iGaming company based in Malta that runs a lot of different online casinos and sports betting sites in the UK. ProgressPlay Limited is licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission, so it is safe.

New customers who join this sports betting site will need to learn how to deposit on JeffBet, but the process works in much the same way as with other online bookmakers, via its cashier. Debit cards by Visa, MasterCard and Maestro are among the payment options, plus various e-wallets.

Speaking as someone who has worked in the betting industry for over 20 years Im well read up on the introduction offers of all the top firms and frankly JEFFBET have left me feeling short changed. I took them up on their offer of bet 10 get a 30 bet free. This is an offer I give out on a daily basis and you can then sign up with our sister companies and take advantage of the same offer.Ive just been told by JEFFBET theyre not honouring this offer as I once held an account with an obscure company called BRITAINBET and if I use a jewellers eyepiece can clearly see this offside flag buried deep in the t&cs.So feel stupid if this firm have taken your money and ran. They took me too. If they carry on tossing starving dogs rubber bones we will soon see them disappear and I for one dont think that day can come quickly enough. Please read my rating as 0 stars. My Accounts are now closed across your company.

Really really poor - please Google Jeffbet reviews and see the experiences from others. They have held onto my winnings as they keep asking for more and more verification as it doesnt meet their requirements. Everything does and it appears they hope people get bored trying to chase their winnings.
