Hyper Sport Review (2025) - Is it Safe or a Scam?

UKGC Licence (38758) UKGC Licence

Hyper Sport has been a name in the UK betting scene since 2019 but its parent company L&L Europe Ltd, registered in Malta and licensed by the UKGC under licence number 38758, has been around since 2014. Our Hyper Sport review will look at whether it’s a platform worth dabbling with or if it's over-hyped (pun intended).

It takes a special bookmaker to break into the mainstream world of online sports and casino betting. We are not sure Hyper Sport has what it takes to join the elite names in the space but it is undeniable that it delivers an offering that delivers a lot of positives.

For starters, the bookie immediately steals a march on a lot of the other lesser-household operators with a good selection of payment methods whilst the customer service offering is strong too; it’s very clear that Hyper are there to support its customers with questions, which isn’t always the feeling you get from bookies.

The casino offering is solid. You have a range of gaming providers, a good variety of game types to explore and a live casino as well.

As for the sportsbook side, it is pretty decent as well with the choice of events and markets appealing whilst the betting margins of 6.67% are pretty tidy to boot. The only real negative is some of the surface-level navigation challenges you face; they are more annoying than deal breakers though.

About Hyper Sport

The company behind Hyper Sport, L&L Europe Limited, that are licensed by the UKGC under account number 38758, have been in operation since 2014 with Hyper Sport launching in 2019.

Despite having a reasonable few years under its belt, Hyper Sport has not quite made the waves it would have hoped for and certainly isn’t a household name amongst your standard punter.

Here, we unpick everything about Hyper Sport as we look to assess why it might fly under the radar a little bit. To do this, we’ll celebrate the good, call out the bad and, ultimately, give you our best informed – and completely unbiased – opinion on whether or not Hyper Sport is worth your time.

Is Hyper Sport Legit & Safe?

Hyper Sport’s UKGC License: 38758

Hyper Sport is a licensed and safe operator with the bookmaker falling under the remit of L&L Europe Limited; a Malta-based company that is regulated by the MGA under licence MGA/B2C/211/2011 whilst it is able to trade in the UK courtesy of the registration it holds with the UK Gambling Commission (account 38758).

Hyper Sport's Trustpilot Rating: 2.1/5

In most walks of life, a rating of 2.1 out of five would raise an eyebrow as a poor result. In the online betting world, you need to recalibrate your thinking a little. With trusted brands, such as bet365 who rank at 1.3, regularly coming up well short of a 2.0 score a 2.1 rating, whilst nothing to write home about, is far from the disaster it might seem on the surface.

That said, it should be noted that there are only 63 reviews published against Hyper Sport at the time of writing; as sample sizes go, that’s not amazing. 68% of those reviews award just one star with the next highest mix being the 16% awarding five stars.

So, what is the theme of the negative reviews? There is a variety but questions pointing towards “fixed slots” is a common theme; we can’t speak directly to the experiences of those reviewers but as a licensed bookie under the UKGC would be annihilated for such practices, which makes it feel more like bad luck than a bad operator.

Has Hyper Sport Been Fined by the UKGC?

This is a nice and easy update. Hyper Sport nor L&L Europe Limited have had action taken against them by the UKGC. This should give you further comfort in your ability to bet safe with the site.

Hyper Sport Deposit Methods

Are there operators out there with more comprehensive deposit methods than Hyper Sport? Yes. There are, however, a lot who offer their customers far fewer too. Hyper Sport hits the main channels for us with card payments, Apple Pay and e-wallets all options for customers.

Deposit minimums start at £10. That’s not wild relative to other players in the online betting world but, equally, there are numerous operators who will allow £1 deposits.

Hyper Sport Withdrawal Methods

With little surprise, the withdrawal options at Hyper Sport are very similar to those of your deposit options.

The key difference here is that you are offered a bank transfer withdrawal at a minimum value of £5,000 whilst certain withdrawal options will be unavailable to you depending on how you deposited in the first instance.

For example, you won’t be able to withdraw to PayPal if you deposited from a Visa card.

Hyper Sport Sportsbook Review

Hyper Sport might be the newer aspect of the offering from L&L Europe Limited but there is a lot to like about it.

For starters, an offering of 35 sports is far from a terrible depth of choice. The list of sports hits a lot of the right boxes too with headline sports like football and horse racing covered. Furthermore, lesser-followed sports such as handball and kabaddi show that Hyper are willing to cast a wide net to capture an audience. You can add the e-sports and live streaming of certain events into that category as well.

Digging deeper, the football coverage is strong. Not only is there a good coverage of leagues but the market depth is decent too, with around 150 different markets on high-profile matches such as from the Premier League. Throw in a well-structured bet builder and in-play markets to boot and it's a tick from us.

Hyper In-Play Sports

As for horse racing, Hyper Sport provides good coverage of events with meetings from UK & Ireland as well as international races being available. The ability to stream some races is another positive. The negative is the absence of best odds guaranteed, which is something the best bookmakers for horse racing will offer.

Importantly, we should celebrate the Hyper Sport betting margins. At 6.67% they are better than the average. That just leaves the layout and navigation to touch on. This is our main gripe with the sportsbook.

Hyper Sport sportsbook

First up, the basic navigation to the sportsbook is hard work with no direct "Sports" button; instead, you have to utilise the search function and enter "Sports". Once in, the look and feel of the sportsbook is a bit old school, and not in a good way. Everything at least works though and, to be fair, the usability improves the deeper you delve into markets.

Hyper Casino Review

Hyper Sport – or Hyper Casino – has provided its casino offering longer than its sportsbook. It is a tidy offering as well. There are games from a host of different providers, which you can filter by if you so wish, with household names like Pragmatic Play and NetEnt featuring amongst them.

As for the actual games available, you are spoilt for choice with slots and jackpots galore including titles such as “Wild Wild West: The Great Train Heist” and “Reel King Big Money” to name just a couple.

Hyper Casino Layout

There is also a solid selection of table games for punters to explore as well. Variations of blackjack and roulette – including a 10p low stakes version – dominate but Baccarat also features whilst there is a separate section dedicated to different forms of poker.

In addition to that, Hyper also offers a live casino, which is largely – but not exclusively – underpinned by Evolution Gaming. This gives bettors a live option for all your common casino table games as well as offering some less commonly found options, such as “Monopoly Big Baller Live” and “Gonzo’s Treasure Map Live”.

Hyper Live Casino Roulette.jpg

The one area that leaves a little to be desired, much like in the sportsbook, is the main navigation. Our issue is a lack of menu drill-downs and top-level filtering meaning you are forced into scrolling through a host of information you could easily bypass with a lot of other bookies.

Hyper Sport Mobile App

A lot of smaller online bookmakers don’t bother with developing mobile betting apps. Hyper Sport does offer one to Apple users – sorry to those on Android devices, it’s the website for you.

In truth though, there is very little difference between the app and the mobile website with both facing the same navigation challenges, which are minor annoyances rather than fundamental issues.

Of course, in 2025 and beyond, having a betting app is slightly more advantageous than having to worry about navigation via the internet but it certainly shouldn’t be considered a “must-have” for Hyper Sport users.

Hyper Sport Responsible Gambling

Responsible gambling is a huge part of being an online bookmaker in the modern world and it’s another area that Hyper Sport performs well in.

The first taste of their approach to betting control comes during the registration process courtesy of a light-touch “we advise you to set your financial limits” approach that you can either act upon or bypass with relative ease in either direction.

Once registered, you can access the available responsible gambling tools via your account section by navigating to the “Limits” section. Here you can configure deposit limits, time limits, loss cut-offs, timeouts and even specific game exclusions. Each of these steps are simple to get set up as well.

Beyond that, Hyper also has some internal checks that flag potential gambling issues, such as a high frequency of deposits, that can see its support team reaching out to bettors as a “check in”; this serves a) as a responsible gambling support service but b) also allows Hyper the ability to be more tailored in how it chooses to deal with certain customers.

Hyper Sport Customer Support

Customer support is a funny thing in most walks of life but especially in online betting. It is something that operates in the shadows and 99.9% of punters will never need to utilise it. When you do need it, getting stuck with poor service is a real problem.

That is highly unlikely to be the case with Hyper Sport; its support function is really strong. The on-site FAQ on offer, admittedly, could be stronger with more questions and in-depth answers but from there on out it is all positive.

You have email contact, which is pretty commonplace amongst bookies, but also a live-chat function that is open 24/7. Hyper also provides a telephone service meaning you can have a genuine back and forwards with a human between the hours of 7 am and midnight GMT.
