Fairplay Bet was launched in 2023, initially as a social betting platform. However, a sportsbook was added recently, meaning it also serves a purpose as a traditional bookmaker.
In this review, we put the site to the test by signing up, verifying our account, depositing real money, placing bets and withdrawing funds. All to give you a full, honest look at what it's really like to play at Fairplay Bet, and whether it competes with other options on the market.

For what it is, Fairplay Bet is not a bad betting option. It does not claim to be one of the best bookmakers around just because a sportsbook has been added, and it will remain a great option for those who want to bet against their friends.
With speedy withdrawals (as we confirmed), a solid app and some good aid for those participating in the social betting, it is a solid choice. As far as competing with the best new bookies, however, the site falls a bit short due to a lack of promotions and a casino section.
Furthermore, horse racing (will be added soon) and a number of novelty markets are unavailable, so a lot of work must be done. Nevertheless, if this is the start of something bigger, then we cannot be too harsh as starting with the basics can sometimes be a wise decision.

Social betting is not uncommon in the UK. So, having spotted a gap in the market, Fairplay launched an official product for this exact purpose. Not only did the app provide the option to bet against a friend, but it also made the whole process so much easier with calculations and more.
In 2025, Fairplay Bet decided to take a big leap by adding a classic sportsbook, expanding the brand's horizons even further. Everything is under the same roof, so there is no need to download multiple apps, and that makes it all very convenient.
In this review, we take a look at everything you need to know about this option. By the end, you should be able to make an informed decision about whether to sign up or not.
Operating a bookmaker in the UK requires a license, which can only be obtained through the Gambling Commission. Fairplay is a recognised brand, so there is no reason to worry about this.
Licensed under its own name - Fairplay Exchange Limited - the site has the all-clear to operate a sportsbook in the UK, under account number 58718. There are no other brands listed either, so this is solely for Fairplay.
At the time of writing, there are no reviews for Fairplay Bet on Trustpilot. All things considered, though, this is not too surprising. Most betting site reviews are linked to casino players, so it is not surprising at all that there are none for Fairplay Bet.
There has never been any regulatory action taken against Fairplay Bet, and this is to be expected. Nevertheless, it still deserves to be praised and bodes well for any potential customers.

Past the sign-up offer, there are basically no promotions available at Fairplay Bet. You will find the occasional price boost, but they are not worth bragging about. If promotions are vital to you, then we recommend checking out the most popular promotions and taking it from there.
The list of payment methods available to punters at Fairplay Bet is not exactly extensive, but that is to be expected given it has only just launched (at least the sportsbook version). Visa, Mastercard, and Apple Pay are the methods in question.
Deposits can be as little as £5, which is quite nice, but more payment options would be appreciated. This is possibly something that Fairplay will add eventually, but we are not sure. We have collected everything you need to know about deposits at Fairplay Bet below:
| Payment Method | Min Deposit | Max Deposit | Deposit Fee | Processing Time | Triggers Bonus |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Visa | £5 | Not specified | No fee | Instant | |
Mastercard | £5 | Not specified | No fee | Instant | |
| Apple Pay | £5 | Not specified | No fee | Instant |
Depositing funds into a Fairplay Bet account is very easy, but we have put together a step-by-step guide if you need some assistance:
After you have created an account, head to the 'Profile' area, which can be found via the icon in the top right. Then, tap 'Deposit'.

Now, you need to select your method of payment. At first glance it might look like there are a lot of options, but this is not really the case. Nevertheless, we chose a Visa debit card.

Finally, enter your payment details and tap 'Pay Securely'. Payments are done instantly so once yours has been processed, you can begin betting.

Although you must use a debit card, withdrawals from Fairplay Bet are quite interesting. Indeed, you can use a different card than you have previously used to deposit. Additionally, there does not seem to be a minimum withdrawal (or so we thought).
We tried to withdraw as little as £0.01, and the request did go through, but the payments didn't. When the other payments were attempted, we received our money in less than 20 minutes. Below, we have collected everything you need to know about the withdrawal methods at Fairplay Bet.
| Payment Method | Min Withdrawal | Max Withdrawal | Withdrawal Fee | Withdrawal Time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Visa | £1 | Not specified | No fee | 18 minutes in our test |
Mastercard | £1 | Not specified | No fee | 1-3 business days |
| Apple Pay | £1 | Not specified | No fee | 1-3 business days |
If you are unfamiliar with the withdrawal process at Fairplay Bet, you can follow our step-by-step guide below:
First, we need to head to the 'Profile' menu, which is accessed in the same way as when depositing. So, tap the icon and then 'Withdraw' when given the option.

Then, you will be asked how much you would like to withdraw and how you would like to withdraw it. We used the same debit card - which is the preset option - but for illustrative purposes, we used a blank image.
Finally, request your withdrawal and wait for the money. Despite its payment area being quite limited, the money arrived quickly, and we were paid in 18 minutes! Not at all bad, and something we won't complain about.
In the case that your money does not arrive, you can check the 'Pending Withdrawals' section below the actual request area.

Customer verification is one of the most important things for bookmakers, so it is no shock to see the same processes at Fairplay Bet. Given the regulations around safer gambling and ages, the KYC process is so important.
Know Your Customer (KYC) is an automatic check that occurs during sign-up. But bookmakers will sometimes need a little more from you if you fail these. In these cases, you can upload any of the following documents to verify yourself:
Fairplay initially launched as a way to bet with/against friends, so for two years, this was the main focus. There were no real limits on what you could wager on, and you could be with multiple friends. However, things changed in 2025.
In July, the site announced that a sportsbook had been added, and its launch was quite solid. Now, at the end of the year, there are almost 20 sports available including football, snooker and darts.
It is worth noting that more than 2500 fixtures are available, so there is no shortage of things to bet on, and this remains the case when looking at a Premier League game and its market depth. In fact, there were more than 450 markets offered in each.
Of course, some of the best football bookmakers will offer many more. For a few months old bookmaker, though, this is really not bad at all.
Football is the most backed/popular sport, it seems, with that being the landing area when entering the sportsbook side of the app. Additionally, the price boosts showed to us were all for football, so it is not an outrageous guess.
For those of you who want to bet with your friends, Fairplay remains one of the best ways to do so. So, if you want to have a friendly wager with your friends, it is an easy alternative to ensure you win money if you win! Interestingly, you can keep track of your previous bets, too, so you can see how you really fare against your mates.
Horse racing is currently not offered to punters and this sticks out. However, we have been told that it will be added in a few weeks, so hang tight! It would be understandable if this were to put you off, though, given how popular horse racing bookmakers are.
Additionally, there are no novelty or e-sports markets, but this may actually be a good thing. If there was too much to focus on, Fairplay Bet would run the risk of becoming stretched. So, if these markets are added in the future, it would be nice, but right now it is not essential.
Given that the site is still working out its bearings in the industry - having only added a sportsbook in 2025 - there is not a casino yet, nor are there any plans to add one, it seems. However, this is not a bad thing.
Adding something else to focus on could take away from other things being developed. So, in other words, the site shouldn't have one yet, at least in our view. If having a casino is vital to you, you can opt for another all-round option like LeoVegas or Betfred.
As of December 2025, Fairplay Bet has an app for both iOS and Android, which is a cracking start indeed for the new bookmaker. The app is also significantly nicer to use than the website, which may not be a bad thing actually.
Mobile betting is increasingly used - perhaps even preferred - and given the site's core as a peer-to-peer betting service, often used for in-person bets, it makes sense why so much has gone into developing a solid app.
Easy to navigate and featuring the sportsbook and 'Social Betting' areas, it is very much a different option, but a complete one for what it aims to serve.
Bookmakers cannot get a UK gambling license without having the appropriate help to gamble safely, and so it is no surprise that Fairplay Bet offers a range of different support tools, which can be seen below:
In the site's bottom banner, there are a few links to different safer gambling organisations like GamStop and BeGambleAware. As well as a 'Safer Gambling' page to explain some of the symptoms of problem gambling.
Unfortunately, the customer support area at Fairplay Bet is quite underwhelming, with only two ways to contact the bookie. None of these can be found inside the app either, not to mention that there is no FAQ section.
As of December 2025, there are two digital contact methods: email and messaging via popular social media platforms. Additionally, you can write to Fairplay Bet if you so wish to, but these offerings are way below the expected level, admittedly.

If you are looking to sign up on Fairplay Bet, you can follow our step-by-step guide on how to do so below:
You can also use our link at the top of this page, or the banner at the top, which will bring you straight to the welcome offer and the registration form.
The first step is actually multi-levelled, and it means you will need to enter an email and password in the first two pages.
Following this, you will need to provide some personal information to Fairplay Bet to help with the KYC process. This is pretty standard though, and it should not be a shock.
Finally, you will need to agree to the terms and conditions and finalise making your account. Once done, you should be good to go straight away, but if you are not, refer to the verification section.
