Dabble is a newly launched sports betting platform that claims to offer betting in a different way to the mainstream operators. With the app still in its infancy, but clearly having big ambitions to upset the established players, our Dabble review assesses whether or not it has a chance of doing so.

Dabble have been registered under the UK Gambling Commission (65711 & 65677) since April 2025, making claims of being the new kid on the block. Admittedly, some of the more unique elements it offers are interesting concepts but we just can’t see them capturing much of the market. That puts a ceiling on how powerful those difference makers can be.
As for the general betting experience, the layout and navigation around Dabble isn’t half bad but there is no casino available and the sports offering is, at the very best, average especially when factoring in the betting margins of 8.45%.
With payment methods limited and the deposit process far from seamless on top of that, we wouldn’t recommend signing up with Dabble right now.
Dabble only secured its UK Gambling Commission Licences (65711 & 65677) in April 2025 so it is far from a well-known brand name. Despite that, it doesn’t pull any punches with its ambition to upset the applecart and their app-only approach, combined with their user community and social betting model, certainly does contrast with most offerings in the sports betting space.
The UK might be one thing, but it should be noted that Dabble has amassed a pretty large following globally. The app was created in 2021 as a start-up in Australia and quickly rose to popularity, expanding into the US with a more fantasy-focused product in 2023. In other words, it's not a small operation.
Dabble is licensed and regulated to trade in the UK betting market under licence numbers 65711, Dabble Sports Pty Ltd, and 65677, Dabble Sports UK Ltd. Both licences became active on April 3rd 2025. This means Dabble is one of the new entrants to the market, but still ticks all the relevant boxes to be considered safe and legal.
With Dabble literally only a couple of months old, it should not surprise you to learn that it has not been on the receiving end of any regulatory action from the UK Gambling Commission.
The vast majority of people will be able to deposit funds with Dabble, seeing as it offers Apple Pay and debit card as deposit methods. Compared with most operators, though, that is a pretty poor choice of payment options whilst we also experienced some issues with the physical process of depositing funds.
Indeed, our first two attempts "failed" and after we completed the third attempt, which was a success, the previous attempts suddenly came through (thus we deposited triple what we wanted). There is simply no way of dressing this up, it is not very good.
On the bright side, the minimum deposit amount is only £5, which is less than a good chunk of bookmakers and, although more than intended, our deposit did land into our account immediately.

Depositing funds with Dabble is an easy process. We cover the step-by-step process below:
Once signed into your account, click on your account balance in the top right corner of the screen. At the top of the screen, you will see a purple “Deposit Funds” button that spans across almost the entirety of the screen. Click it.
There are three ways to define your desired deposit amount. The first thing you will likely notice are the ‘-‘ and ‘+’ buttons on either side of the grey cash amount, which starts at £0.00. This moves you in £10 increments.
Underneath that, you can also choose to utilise quick reference deposit amounts ranging from £10 up to £200. If neither of those approaches appeal, clicking on the amount in question does allow you to enter a bespoke amount.
This is particularly relevant if you want to deposit the Dabble minimum, which is £5.
The payment methods at Dabble are not extensive but you still need to choose your preferred method, Apple Pay or Debit Card. For our test deposit, we utilised the debit card option for a £5 deposit.
On clicking on that option, you are taken to a separate screen where you must input your relevant details. Once done, you have to agree to the terms and conditions before finalising your deposit with the purple “Agree & Deposit” button.
Warning: During our deposit test, we suffered two “failed” attempts. After exiting the screen and restarting the deposit process, our third attempt was a success. Unfortunately, whilst our deposit funds were immediately available, our balance was tripled with all three deposit transactions being processed within seconds of one another.
There isn't an extensive list of withdrawal methods available at Dabble, with a couple of bank transfer options being your limited choice. Specifically, that is fast withdrawal - also known as Instant Bank Transfers - and standard withdrawal.
Whilst that isn’t great, there are some positive elements to highlight. Firstly, a minimum withdrawal amount of £5 is not half bad. As for the speed of the process, our withdrawal took 50 minutes; that's up there with some of the best tests we have done.

If you want to withdraw funds from Dabble, the process is pretty simple. Our step-by-step breaks it all down for you:
Open the Dabble app and select the cog icon from the horizontal header bar; this opens the “Settings” menu.
Once here, access the “Withdraw Funds” button in the top right corner.
When accessing the “Withdraw” screen, you will see your withdrawable balance shown at the top of the page. You can configure how much of it you want to withdraw using the ‘-‘ and ‘+’ buttons with a minimum withdrawal of £5.
However, if you want to withdraw outside of £10 increments, you have to click on the greyed-out balance and type in your desired withdrawal amount.
After setting you desired amount to withdraw, you have two choices for withdrawing. You can link your bank account for a fast withdrawal or swipe the bottom half of the screen to set up a standard bank transfer.
For the purpose of our Dabble review, we opted for the linked account option.
You will be presented with a list of banks on hitting the purple “Securely Link Account” button. Choose your bank.
In order to connect your account, you will be asked to provide your full name, account number and sort code. If you are happy with sharing these details, hit “allow”.
This will take you into your banking app where you simply have to select the account you wish to sync with your Dabble account.
The Dabble sportsbook has some unique elements that we’ll come on to. Before we get there, though, we’re going to analyse the more traditional sportsbook offering it provides to bettors.
The offering there is reasonable with 25 sports covered, split across “Sports” and “Racing” whilst also including an e-sports offer. The lack of in-play markets is a massive miss, but is coming "soon" as per the site.
As for the actual sports, racing is a big thing for it, with football the leading offering away from the racecourse.
From a racing angle, there is horse racing, greyhounds and trots offered, with the former the most high profile. The coverage here includes UK, Ireland and global meetings, touching every corner of the world.
When drilling into race meets, the level of detail available to punters is good with stats and commentary available to inform you of factors like form, price movement and more. It puts everything you need to make betting picks in one place. The lack of best odds guaranteed is a negative, though.
The football coverage, another key component of the Dabble offering, is solid without being spectacular. From a market depth perspective, there are just over 100 different; this is somewhere in the realms of average but not close to being market leading.
It does mean the bet-builder functionality has a reasonably decent number of markets to pool together for bigger bets, though.
The other aspect to the football betting is the competition coverage; Dabble provide coverage around the globe, with more than just the top tiers having markets available too.
We cannot wrap up our Dabble sportsbook review without covering the betting margins. Our test put the margins at 8.45%. That is poor, especially when you consider quite a few sit comfortably at around 6%.
Dabble makes the point that it's a bookie with a difference, and it's worth discussing exactly what that means. The key thing is the social aspect, which means you can follow other bettors. This enables you to track friends or other widely followed accounts with options to chat with people and view their bets and bet histories.
The flip side of that is that you can also promote your own bets and showcase the visibility of your own selections. How much you make public can be determined in your account settings and there are also options to make things private or to share with specific accounts.
Ordinarily, we would give a brief rundown of whether or not a bookmaker provides an app and then detail if and how that app enhances the bettor experience. With Dabble only available through an app, this entire review delves into the detail of the app.
What we can say, though, is that betting through an app does really add something to the user experience, with aspects like push notifications allowing you to really keep your finger on the pulse. The other big plus point is that because of Dabble’s approach, it has poured real effort into the app with it having a social media-esque feel to it.
This provides a vastly better experience than bookies that have simply tagged a half-baked app alongside a website to tick the “we’re modern” box. In short, Dabble is one of the best apps in the UK right now.
There is a dedicated Safer Gambling section within the “Settings” section. The layout here is clean, tidy and easy to navigate through. Despite that, the real power of responsible gambling is found in the detail, not the look and feel.
Unfortunately, the tool offering is not nearly as extensive as with some bookies. Those available at Dabble are:
On the plus side, there is a detailed “Account Activity” area where bettors can see a breakdown of everything they have wagered, deposited and withdrawn. Beyond this, you will also find links to external resources and an externally hosted self-assessment test.
The Dabble customer support function comes in several different forms. The headline offering should be the live chat, which is usually accessible from under the “Settings” section of your account.
The live chat is ordinarily in operation by humans between 09:00 and 17:00 seven days per week. Outside of that time, the chat is manned by an AI bot. Unfortunately, at the time of our Dabble review, the live chat function has been turned off as it looks to “onboard more staff”.
Despite those challenges, we raised a query via the AI bot as part of our testing at circa 23:00 and received an email response within a matter of minutes; the detail we received in that reply was at a strong level too. That gives us confidence that even without the live chat functionality, the service provided via email contact is a solid offering.
In addition to that, you can also access a Help Centre consisting of 79 articles across seven different categories.
Finally, in a slight twist away from the norm of bookmakers, there is also a “banter” section that allows bettors to communicate with one another. This isn’t always specific to help but does crossover whilst Dabble staff also contributing to chats.

The bookmaker’s own slogan is “Have a Dabble”. If you feel like doing exactly that after reading out Dabble Sports review then follow our step-by-step sign up process below:
Dabble does things a little bit differently to the traditional bookies and, as such, you won’t find any “Join” or “Sign Up” button here. Well, not yet. Instead you need to head over to Dabble's website and hit the yellow “Download Now” button.
This will take you to your app store. Once here, download the app. Once in the App, Hit “Join”
Now things start to feel a little more standard. In the top row, locate the purple “Join” button. Click it.
In order to sign up with any bookmaker, a level of personal information is required. In order of input, Dabble ask for details such as full name, home address and date of birth.
You also have an option to enter a bonus code here, whilst you will also need to set your marketing and promotion preferences.
Once done, hit the “Agree and Continue” button. This will turn purple when you have input all the necessary information.
After completing the previous step, you will be taken to a simple screen where you have to input your mobile number. This will be used to verify your account. Once entered, hit “Next”.
You will receive a verification code via email off the back of hitting the “Next” button. Simply enter this code and press the purple “Verify” button.
Privacy is an important word in the online betting industry. It takes on a slightly different meaning with Dabble though, such is the way the platform works.
Some of the detail on this page of the sign up process is just informative. Other sections require you to configure the initial setup of your profile, specifically, choosing whether or not you have a “Public” or “Private” profile; the details of what each delivers is explained clearly in the process.
Hit “Next” when done.
You now have the opportunity to customise your profile. This includes setting a username, entering a short bio and picking a profile icon.
Only a username is required; the other details mentioned above are optional. You can now hit the “Sign Up” button.
After pressing the “Sign Up” button, you will be presented with a pop-up screen asking you about previous self-exclusions and potential GAMSTOP registrations. This is a simple yes or no question.
Behind that, you can set a Deposit Limit if you so wish to. Hit “Confirm” and you are finally set to Dabble.
