Betzone recently upgraded its sportsbook, switching from Playbook Gaming to Metric Gaming, and we thus wanted to put the new platform to the test. Withdrawing the minimum amount of £10 with a Visa debit card, we got the money after 12 hours.
Of course, while that isn't necessarily a bad test result, it must be said that we have got our money quicker on other sites. Some of them take just a few minutes these days so there is room for improvement for Betzone, even if we won't complain per se about the result.
⏱️ Withdrawal Time: 12 hours in our test 💳 Method Used: Visa Debit Card
As stated above, Betzone recently broke loose from Playbook Gaming in an attempt to further grow as a bookmaker, having expressed a frustration about the provider previously. So far, with the Metric Gaming platform in place, everything looks promising but Betzone still has some things to improve.
The payment methods situation is a great example of that, in fact, as the site only accepts deposits and withdrawals with debit card as well as traditional bank transfer (so not the more luxurious instant bank transfer). The minimum withdrawal amount further attests to this as punters must withdraw at least £10.
Below, we have collected everything you need to know about withdrawing funds at Betzone, from the payment methods available to the minimum withdrawal amount for each.
Payment Method | Min. Limit | Max. Limit | Transaction Fee | Processing Time |
---|---|---|---|---|
![]() Visa | £10 | Not specified | No fee | 12 hours in our test |

Seeing as debit cards are the only way to withdraw funds from Betzone, if we don't count traditional bank transfers (which are notoriously slow), the fastest method is pretty obvious. It took 12 hours for us to receive our funds in our withdrawal test of the bookie, which is decent but certainly not among the fastest Visa Direct withdrawals.
As such, and also to improve the deposit situation, it would be nice for Betzone to add at least one e-wallet to its portfolio. For example, PayPal - which is also incredibly popular among punters - tends to guarantee fast withdrawals at any time of the day. It feels like it would be quite easy for the bookie to add this method too.
If you have not withdrawn money from Betzone before, you can follow our step-by-step guide below:
To kick things off when withdrawing funds from Betzone, navigate to your account and head to the 'Withdraw' tab.
Either use the quick reference buttons or input your desired withdrawal amount directly. Once done, select your desired withdrawal method. This defaults to your deposit method but can be altered.
When you have gone through the previous steps, you will see a notification confirming your withdrawal.
It is now just a case of waiting for your withdrawal to land in your bank account. The Betzone guidance is that this can take up to five business days - but it only took 12 hours in our test.
