BetNero is a fresh launch in the UK gambling market with an online casino and sportsbook offering. Despite being in its infancy, the BetNero brand has been around for a couple of years overseas and is underpinned by Bulgaria based Anakatech Interactive Limited (UKGC licence: 48789). Here we pull no punches with our BetNero review.

We won’t beat around the bush. BetNero is not a sportsbook and casino combo worthy of being considered a threat to the established elite of the business. It does, however, have potential to establish itself as one of the better operators in the layer below that though. Note, we say potential – it’s not quite there yet and we don’t have any evidence to say that it will ever get there.
The breadth of sports covered, the depth of leagues and events with markets against them and the volume of markets under those is a good offering. The betting margins are passable, if not brilliant, at 7.19% as well. An enhanced navigation and improved in-play experience wouldn’t go amiss.
As for the casino side of things, it’s best summed up as being better than the sports offering, which is fairly high praise. Navigation is better on that side of the site and, again, punter choice is vast.
The customer service offering is pretty solid too but a slight lack of attention to detail and care around things like deposit and withdrawal processes, both in terms of payment methods and speed of withdrawal, is a significant draw back for us.
The BetNero offering is a white-label platform underpinned by Anakatech Limited, regulated under UKGC licence number 48788, and Anakatech Interactive Limited, 48789. Those companies are incorporated under the laws of British Virgin Island and Malta respectively.
BetNero, which initially made its name in the Italian markets, has only just launched into UK markets but with Anakatech having put down roots in the UK since 2017 in the casino space and growing that into sports and virtuals during 2024.
With the journey BetNero has been on, together with being a very new brand to the sports betting space, little is know about the offering it has and it is far from a household name here in the UK.
Our intention, as is always the case, is to cut through any bluster BetNero might create about itself and deliver you cold hard facts about where it wins and loses with the overarching aim of answering whether or not you should spend your time signing up with BetNero.
BetNero is fully licensed by the UK Gambling Commission for operation across both sports and casino gambling; this immediately ticks the minimum boxes for being safe and legal. The UKGC licence holder associated to BetNero.co.uk is Malta registered Anakatech Interactive Limited (licence 48789).
A similarly named Anakatech Limited (licence 48788) is also linked to the operator with its role to support the software used on the website.
Anakatech has been in business since 2012 and provides a host of services in the betting and I-Gaming sector; they also hold links with 7Bet, Luckymate and Winomania.
First things first, you are currently hard pressed to find genuine user reviews of BetNero; that opens you up to a host of over-celebrated hype articles about why it is fantastic. We are not saying it isn’t; that’s for you to decide from the pros and cons we will touch on throughout this unbiased BetNero review.
As for the Trustpilot reviews, at the time of writing, none exist on the UK site. There are a limited sample of reviews on the Italian hosted Trustpilot though, which rank BetNero at 2.2 out of five.
Any limited sample should be taken with a pinch of salt but 2.2 isn’t as disastrous as it might first sound; many of the household bookmakers score a lesser rating with Bet365, perhaps the best example, coming in at just 1.3 out of five.
With its registration to the UK Gambling Commission very much in its infancy, you probably won’t be overly surprised to have it confirmed that BetNero is free of charges and restrictions from the UKGC. The same is true of the longer-established Anakatech brands.
Ergh. In terms of the actual deposit methods available to punters at BetNero the offering is far from tragic. The issue we have is that they over promise and under deliver.
Prior to signing up, you can explore the “Banking” menu option where a host of payment methods are listed including e-Wallets, Paysafecards and Neosurf. Dig into some of those options though and you will see that, clearly, it has been a “lift and shift” content job with references made to 7Bet.
This issue worsens when signing up with BetNero because, actually, not all of those deposit options are available to you.
If, however, you can look past that, the deposit options are okay. Debit cards and Apple and Google Pay options will tick boxes for a lot of users whilst the minimum and maximum deposits of £10 to £5,000, which are universal across all methods, are fairly standard without being market leading.
A minor word of caution, during our test, our deposit did take four and a half minutes to process. Not the end of the world, admittedly, but also not a delay you commonly see.

The BetNero deposit process is explained step-by-step below:
Ensuring you are logged into your account, click on either the blue shaded rectangle that holds your account balance.
This will bring up a pop-up style summary of your account holding.
Hit the green "Deposit" button.
You will be transferred to a screen that holds wider banking options along with an account history tab.
Ensuring you're in the "Deposit" tab, select your desired payment method by clicking on it.
The next step of your BetNero deposit process is to select your deposit amount. A small watchout here; the minimum deposit amount is £10, however, it will default to £50 and the smallest 'quick select' deposit option is £20.
Use the 'Other' option to configure your desired deposit.
Once done, input the required information of your chosen deposit method.
Once your deposit has been made, you can check the status in the 'History' tab within the same section.
Our deposit test took four and a half minutes from deposit to actually being available to play with.
There is not loads to note about BetNero withdrawals. The options to withdraw funds are slightly limited though with Visa, Mastercard and Wire Transfer seemingly the only options.
All withdrawals are subjected to a £10 minimum.
Payment Method | Min. Limit | Max. Limit | Transaction Fee | Processing Time |

The BetNero withdrawal process is explained step-by-step below:
If you are logged in to your BetNero account, you can navigate to your account area by clicking on the blue shaded rectangle that displays your balance; this is found within the horizontal blue header bar at the top of the page.
Once open, navigate to "Withdrawal" and choose your desired withdrawal method.
Set your desired withdrawal amount and, when done, click the blue "Withdraw" button.
On completion, you will see a screen confirming "Request submitted successfully".
The sportsbook at BetNero does not quite feel like the finished article, although, that said, it is far from a shambles either with lots of elements to like.
We’ll start with the negatives, which are largely centred around the look and feel. The site is loaded with cheap arty icons, limited navigation options at the top level – although this does improve when you start drilling into different sports and events – and the absence of a search bar for homing in to a specific fixture or race meet is a big miss.
You’ll notice the ‘Search’ function in the screen shots but this doesn’t work across events and is instead configured to look across BetNero blog updates.
Right, let’s move on to some positive points. The depth of sports on BetNero is decent. There are 36 sports available to bet on ranging from your widely followed sports like football and horse racing to things such as curling and hurling.
In addition to that, E-Sports and 'Specials' are also covered; 'Special' markets cover music, politics and television based on the available markets at the time of writing.
Before getting into some more specifics of the sports coverage, it is worth touching on the betting margins as well.
Based on our data review, they are pretty rank average at 7.19%. You will get better margins elsewhere but, equally, can run into considerably worse margins too.
The football coverage at BetNero is really strong. It offers fixtures from all of the top leagues and far beyond that as well.
Within the games themselves, market depth is excellent with in the region of 200 different betting options available to punters whilst that good depth runs across to the betbuilder functionality as well. If we had one criticism it would be the lack of a decent in-play engine.
Alongside football, horse racing is the headline sport offering at BetNero and you can feel that. It provides a huge choice of race meets with coverage across UK & Ireland as well as from a wide range of countries around the world.
Many of these race meets can be streamed on BetNero. Again, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows; the lack of Best Odds Guaranteed sees it fall short of the best horse racing bookmakers.

If the sportsbook at BetNero feels like it is lacking in a few places, the same cannot be said for the casino. Online casinos are bread and butter stuff to Anaketech and that does come through.
The choice of games available to play on the site are pretty extensive with over 1,000 different slot variations to explore from 24 different games providers.
These include traditional slot machine style games, jackpot slots, megaway slots and drop & wins. The names among those games available are household brands too with “Big Bass: Floats my Boat” by Pragmatic Play just one example.
Beyond that, there is also a dedicated “Quick Games” section that includes scratch cards like “Lucky Number x16” and “The Perfect Scratch”.
In addition to those instant win type games, you also have a range of table games with roulette, blackjack, poker, baccarat and craps all featuring. You are not pinned into just one version of each either with the lower stakes roulette option a crowd pleaser.
If that doesn’t cure your casino itch then you also have the option to move across to the BetNero live casino.
Pragmatic Play and Evolution provide the bulk of the playing options here with every table game imaginable hit including the lesser seen game show style games, such as “Crazy Time”, “Sweet Bonanza” and “Monopoly Live”.
The navigation around the casino and live casino is slick and intuitive too and there is also the option to search for a specific game so you can always find your way back to your favourites!
Failing to have a mobile app is something that is always likely to leave you behind the competition. It’s an area where BetNero fails to deliver. We reached out to its support team and there are currently no plans to deliver an app either.
It is, of course, a mobile friendly website design though, which does at least mean you can still play on the go with little issue.
Responsible gambling is a massive thing in the modern world of online betting and BetNero hit plenty of the right marks to support their customers in this space.
It’s the one area where they have strong FAQ guidance; not only do those guides outline the tools that are available to the bettors but also provide more detailed information to explain how each tool works and what the consequences of using each tool are.
In terms of the tools that are available, you can use:
In addition to those concrete responsible gambling tools, it also provides a detailed account history for bettors to keep a detailed track what they’ve done whilst it is also committed to ensuring colleagues are trained to be consistent with how BetNero handle issues around responsible gambling.
The customer service provided by BetNero is a bit of a mixed bag. If you want to address issues or explore options of your own volition then the ability to do so is pretty limited.
The only real FAQ pages are focussed on responsible gambling. The annoying thing is, where it does offer FAQ information, the pages are pretty good; it is just a shame there aren’t more of them across general topics and bookmaker usability.
From a more direct contact perspective, BetNero operate an email address and live chat function, which is open between 06:00 and 23:00 Monday to Friday and 08:00 to 21:00 over the weekends. Our testing found the live chat to be highly responsive and happy to have back and forwards on topics.
Of course, the inability to pick up a phone and converse directly is a slight miss but, in fairness, a lot of companies are moving away from the more traditional means of contact in the modern world.

BetNero might not be a household name but if you want to give them a look then follow our step-by-step sign up process below:
First things first, be sure to head to betnero.co.uk and not '.com'; the latter is operated by the same company but won't take you to where you want to go as a bettor.
Once on betnero.co.uk, hit the green 'JOIN' button, which can be found in the top right corner.
Your first step towards signing up with BetNero is to enter your personal information including your name and date of birth.
In order to progress your sign up, you will need create a username, password and set your desired deposit limits as part of BetNero's responsible gambling approach.
The final step of the sign up process asks if you would like to verify your identity. This is not an obligation but you will have to go through an identification process prior to withdrawing funds.
Verification is a maximum of two documents, however, we completed our test in a matter of minutes by simply uploading a photo of a driving license.
