Despite its name, Bet442 is not a bookmaker that focuses solely on football, launching in 2024 to attract punters for various sports. Indeed, the sportsbook is comprehensive thanks to the backing of AG Communications, but is it worth signing up for? Our review takes a look at everything you need to know.

Founded in 2024, Bet442 is still very new and as you would expect, that shows in some respects. Not when looking at the sportsbook, however, as the site offers a wide range of different sportsbooks and decent market depth, having partnered up with Aspire Global.
Furthermore, there are quite a lot of payment methods available on the site, while we had our money in just two hours in our withdrawal test. The fact that there is an app to download is the icing on the cake as far as the positives go.
That said, moving on to the negatives, Bet442 charges a fee for the withdrawals and that is something that really discourages us. The navigation also isn't brilliant at all times, with the occasional slow loading times during our testing and overcrowded sections.
Customer support-wise, Bet442 does the trick with a comprehensive FAQ section and a contact form, with rather quick reply times. We would have liked to see a live chat that isn't hidden, though, as it's currently rather difficult to find it when you are logged in.

In terms of safety, there is little to worry about when it comes to Bet442. The bookmaker is powered by AG Communications Limited, which is a well-known company that is behind various sites in the UK. It has a UKGC licence under account number 39483 and this also means that Bet442 has quite a few sister sites.
As stated in the FAQs section of Bert442, the site utilises the 'latest 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL)' to ensure that sensitive information remains private. In addition to this, information is not shared with other organisations. Of course, this is standard for most betting sites these days, but still worth pointing out.
Customers have often complained on Trustpilot about the site, though. With a rating of 1.5 out of 5 stars, many have complained about the site's long withdrawal process (time and fees), whilst others have had issues with communicating with the site.
There is only one sign-up offer available for new Bet442 customers. Unfortunately, it is nothing to be wowed by.
For depositing and staking £20 at odds of at least evens, customers will be given a £10 free bet and also two £5 free bet builders, and there is no promo code needed to claim this promotion.
Considering many bookmakers offer generous 'Bet and Get' promotions, this feels more like a rare promotion for existing lucky customers, rather than an offer to entice you to sign up for a new bookmaker. Certainly not a contender for the best sign-up promotions in the UK, it must be said.
| Operator | Welcome Offer | Bonus Code | Claim Offer | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Welcome Offer Bet £20 Get £20 in Free Bets | No code required | Claim Offer | 18+. New customers Only. Min deposit £20. Maximum one £10 free bet and two £5 bet builder free bets. Qualifying bet must be placed at odds of evens (2.00) or greater. Paid as bonus tokens: Token 1 min odds 1.8, token 2 and 3 are valid for bet builder only and are subject to min odds of 3.00. T&Cs apply. |
It seems like there is only one 'proper' promotion offered by Bet442, which is quite disappointing. Under the 'Promotions' tab, the cash out and bet builder features are also displayed for the punters, despite being two very standard features these days.
In any case, shifting focus to the actual promotion, Bet442 offers an acca boost. This sees acca bets get a boost depending on the number of selections - a four-fold acca will be boosted by just 4% whereas a 15-fold acca will be boosted by 77%. Decent, but not mind-blowing by any means.
There is a fantastic list of options available when depositing funds into a Bet442 account. The bookmaker offers typical card options, as well as some e-wallets for those who prefer an extra layer of security.

New customers can follow our step-by-step guide to depositing on Bet442 in the UK below. For reference, we used the app to deposit...
After entering the app, tap the profile area shown in the top left of the screen, and then tap the 'Deposit' option - you must, of course, be logged in.
In this area, you will be first asked to select a payment method, and there is a nice range available, including several of the best e-wallets. As normal, we chose to use a debit card.
After selecting your deposit method, simply enter how much you would like to deposit - we opted for £20 at first to make the most of the sign-up offer, and then tap 'Deposit'.
Finally, you will be taken to a receipt area, which confirms the method used and amount, whilst also providing a transaction ID.
Customers must use the same method to withdraw money that they used when depositing, so this is something to be wary of when using the banking areas. Below, we have collected the key withdrawal terms for each method at Bet442, so that you can decide which works best for you.
| Payment Method | Min Withdrawal | Max Withdrawal | Withdrawal Fee | Withdrawal Time |

Customers who have not withdrawn funds on Bet442 before can follow our guide below. For reference, we used the app to withdraw...
Unfortunately, the process of finding the withdrawal area is not so simple. Tap the profile area in the top left, and then you must head to the 'Account' area.
Following this, you can then enter the 'Cash Out' area of the app, which is just another way of saying withdraw.
After picking your payment method, you will need to enter your chosen withdrawal amount, which must be more than the minimum of £10.

Following this, ensure your withdrawal method is correct - as previously stated, it will be the same as your last deposit - and then tap the 'Withdraw' option.
In our test, the funds were received in less than two hours, which is quite a good result considering it is still a new site, putting it among the fastest operators in the UK.

It is worth noting that customers will be charged a withdrawal fee on transactions, which is really quite poor. It is rare that customers are charged to take money out of their account, so to see a new bookmaker charging is definitely a reason to avoid it.

Bookmakers are required by law to verify the accounts of their customers, ensuring that gambling remains a safe and fun activity. Furthermore, this is a way to keep betting accounts from being used for criminal activity, such as money laundering.
Most bookmakers offer automatic verification, and this is often the same with Bet442, but there will be occasions when this is not possible. Then, some documents could be requested by the bookie and these can be uploaded directly to the site.
The site may require identification verification or funds verification. The following forms of verification are accepted:
Bet442 was founded in 2024, but in many respects, you wouldn't be able to tell this is the case thanks to the backing of AG Communications. The list of sports available at Bet442 is phenomenal, with around 35 of them available, including favourites like football, horse racing, tennis and cricket.
Alongside this, a fantastic range of esports is available to bet on such as CS2, DOTA 2 and League Of Legends and also lesser popular games like EAFC and Rainbow Six Siege. Unfortunately, there are very few live streaming options on the app.
Getting an interface right is one of the biggest things in the digital world, let alone the betting one. Unfortunately, Bet442 gets it slightly wrong, but really not by much. As designs go, the website and app are both quite sleek, but both feel quite hectic.
The markets are presented well, but then there are additional markets available in the fixture list, which I feel overcomplicate some things unnecessarily. It is all in the little details, and Bet442 is so close to getting it right, but by trying to do a little too much, just gets it a little wrong.
Across each sport, the menus are quite similar, but we will be taking a look at the football and horse racing markets specifically given they are probably the most popular sports for punters.
On the football page, customers can easily navigate the different areas. From the main area, punters can find 'In-Play' games as easily as they can find games happening in the eighth tier of Costa Rica. Certainly a good range to have.
Bet builders are rather easy to navigate and create, however, we felt that the selections available were slightly lacking compared to some options on the market. The options are also not available until closer to the game, which again, does not help with other options allowing selections to be made in advance.
The horse racing area is much of the same, and fixtures are presented in the same way, rather than in a 'traditional' sense. In addition to this, ante-post bets cannot be placed which is a massive drawback, especially since the best horse racing sites all offer this.
The selection of sports at Bet442 is phenomenal all things considered. There are more than 40 different sports and esports listed (perhaps it would be less than 40 if the esports markets were grouped under their own area).
Football, tennis and horse racing are the first listed sports, but we would hazard a guess that football is the favourite sport offered by Bet442. Additionally, with the lack of horse racing streaming or Best Odds Guaranteed, horse racing may not be as popular as on other sites.
Looking at the markets on offer, whilst there are international horse racing options, the selections available within them are limited. Additionally, the markets on UK and Irish racing are often lacking, with only win, forecast and tricast bets available.
The football markets are, understandably, better than anything else. There is an acceptable range of markets available, but the lack of player fouls/shots markets shows the distance between Bet442 and the top bookmakers.
Live betting is possible and can be done via the 'In-Play' area, which can be easily found on the website or mobile apps.
Streaming is available, but not on any live sports it seems. We looked at the site several times to try to find any live sport that was available to watch, but there was none. Whilst esports fixtures can be watched, the lack of any live physical sport options is a massive drawback, not even in a live-betting sense, but in a wider watch-your-bet sense.
442Bet considers the inclusion of Bet Builders a promotion, so a good area is expected. However, it feels quite jagged. In terms of selections on offer, there are some phenomenal choices, and that can only be applauded. However, the actual layout of things is quite unenjoyable.
With other bookmakers, using a bet builder feels a lot smoother and selections are easy to add as well as find. Whilst the latter is true with Bet442, adding certain things is not easy.
We must remember that the site remains in its infancy, so there will be a few disappointments, naturally. If they are improved upon, we can revisit this area with a more positive view.
To its credit, the app is much better than the website, I feel. The layout keeps the positives that are available on the website, but there design is less crowded, which is a real positive. However, it does feel slow on occasion.
Navigation is easy, if a bit tedious on occasion. Clicking on the sports area of the menu section does not show a list of sports, as one would imagine. Instead, customers must tap the 'A-Z Betting' option, and when we attempted this, it was sometimes slow to load.
The mobile site is much better than the computer website and this is probably due to the inability to overcrowd things.
Accessing the casino is easy on the app and mobile website, which deserves credit, and there is a nice amount of options available. Additionally, another app is not needed for the casino, which is welcomed, considering some apps require this.
When it comes to customer support, Bet442 gives you a few options off the bat. You can either head over to the FAQ section, where many of the most common questions are already answered, or you can use the contact form to reach out to an agent.
We would have liked a better layout for the FAQ section, truth be told, but it does the job and is rather informative at the end of the day. The response time also wasn't too long when we submitted a complaint through the contact form, so kudos to Bet442 here.

Our main issue with the customer support, however, is that the live chat (yes, there is one!) is rather hidden. Before logging in, i.e. when you fill out the login details, there is a little customer support icon in the left corner which takes you to the live chat.
We couldn't find a way to access this live chat when logged in, though, which was very frustrating. We actually had to reach out to the support to get an answer on where the live chat was located. Certainly counterproductive, and something Bet442 should amend.
Like with verification protocols, safer gambling is a requirement within the gambling industry now. Sites must have the correct tools available to players to ensure that they are punting within their means.
Unlike most bookmakers, Bet442 does not have a statement about safer gambling. Instead, it is just getting straight into the tools available for players, which makes it feel more like an obligation, rather than an attempt to help.
The tools are listed last within the FAQs section of the app and website, which again feels more like an obligation rather than something else. Bet442 offers the following safer gambling aids:
It is worth noting that the site may impose its own limits on your account. In the FAQs, the bookmaker states, "We set deposit limits as a way to safeguard our players and to ensure that you are playing within your means. This can be based on UK averages or documents you have previously provided.
"If you would like to increase a limit set by us, please feel free to upload documentation relating to a sustainable income that provides sufficient evidence of your affordability to increase the limit. You can also contact our support team to discuss the issue further."
This may be a frustration for any potential customers, so it is certainly something to be wary of.
New players who want to sign up at Bet442 can follow our quick and easy guide to do so:
Signing up follows the same process online or when using the mobile app - which is what we used - and to begin the process, tap the Join option in the top right corner of your screen.
The process starts with creating your account information. You will be asked to provide your email whilst also creating a username and password for your account.
Following this, you will be asked to provide your address and other personal information such as your name, Date of Birth and this is to ensure that your account can be verified back to you.
Finally, you will be asked if you would like to add a Bonus Code when signing up, then check the T&Cs, before tapping 'Submit'!
