When placing bet builders, or even just regular selections on football, there is always the risk of your player being subbed out before doing what you need for the bet. However, Bet365 has looked to help you on this front.
If your player is subbed off in a game, the replacement on the pitch will replace your selection and contribute to what you need. Whether that is for the selection to be booked, have a shot, make a foul, and so on.

Because of this generosity, it would not be unexpected if you were paid out at a lower price, as the site does with its E/W goalscorer bet. This is not the case, though, as there are no differences.
So, if you bet on a central defender to score, and the team is a few goals down, they might decide to bring on a striker. If the latter scores, you will be paid out at the price which you took for the defender, which is fantastic.
It is a market that can surely be utilised if done right, and if you study which substitutions happen, it could be a chance to make some nice money, indeed.

Find an Eligible Market
Once you have found a fixture, you will be able to see which selections are used in this promotion. Alternatively, you can see the symbol when in your bet slip, as seen below.

Tap the ‘Each-Way’ Option on the Betting Slip
Once you have made your selection(s), simply double-check check the symbol is there, and then place your bet. All you have to do from here is hope your selection comes in with the initially made selection. If not, though, there is no need to fear, as the substitute promotion plays on.
