Since Tyson Fury lost the first bout in May, there has been a lot of anticipation for the rematch and this weekend, we will finally see the two back in the ring.
Now the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, Oleksandr Usyk will be hoping to retain his belts this weekend, and at present the bookmakers are confident of his chances to do so, with Star Sports offering the best price for him to win the fight - 17/20.
The odds for Fury to win are only marginally better, with Midnite pricing him at 11/8 to win the fight on Saturday night in Saudi Arabia.
After an intense face-off that lasted more than 10 minutes, the media has been hyping this fight up heavily, for good reason. It is the first defence of the undisputed champion, and given no one has been the undisputed heavyweight champion in the four-belt era, there is a lot of expectation for the two to deliver.
As you'll see, we have looked to do a bet builder for the game, so it is definitely worth looking at the best UK bet builder sites ahead of the fight!
We're starting our tips off with over 0.5 knockdowns in the fight. Tyson Fury has been knocked down in each of his last two fights, whilst also being knocked down several times against Deontay Wilder - which we feel was a more difficult challenge than his bout against Dillian White, and this fight also saw a knockdown (by way of Fury). For this reason, this part of the bet builder feels like a given.
I also think the fight will last more than nine rounds. The first bout went all the way, despite Fury's difficulties at some points in the fight and I cannot see this fight being over before the start of the ninth, if not beyond that, but more on that later.
If you are looking to back this, you can also claim the BetVictor sign-up offer when using this bet - something which we would definitely recommend.
For my next tip, I'm going with Fury to land 175 (or more) punches. In the last bout, Fury landed 157 of his attempts at a rate of around 31%, but there was a clear drop-off from the Englishman.
In the first six rounds, his landed shots only grew in percentage, reaching a high of 41.7% according to Compubox stats. However, the fight started to get away from him after this and he began to struggle to land.
In the seventh, eighth, tenth and twelfth rounds, he only landed around 12-28% of his strikes with the tenth round being a clear outsider where he landed just four of his 31 strikes - understandable given he was knocked down in the ninth.
Since the first bout, it has regularly been said that he changed his game plan and tried upping the tempo - which only hurt his chances, so if he sticks to his early round tempo and averages the mid 30% range for strike rate, we could see this fly in.
My final tip of the bunch is for Fury to win by Split Decision which is priced by Betfair at 14/1. We have not seen Fury bounce back from a loss because it has not happened before, and given the mental strength of the fighter, I can only see him bouncing back.
The Englishman approached the last fight well and in the early rounds, he looked like he was on the way towards a nice victory. However, something changed and it looked like he wanted to wrap the fight up and be a showman.
As we know, Usyk then pounced.
I think this fight has a very strong chance of going the distance, and with the last fight decided on split decision, it would not be a surprise if this bout followed the same course.
