The Premier League sack race has been an exciting one this season. This last week has seen two managers relieved of their duties. Both Gary O’Neil and Russell Martin were destined to be the next two managers to part ways with their clubs, so neither came as any major surprise.

Oliver Glasner and Crystal Palace had struggled so far in a season which carried so much promise following their huge uptake in form after the Austrian’s introduction as manager. Indeed, major losses of key players Micheal Olise and Joachim Andersen have rendered the Eagles flightless.

However, an emphatic 3-1 victory over rivals Brighton has seemingly cemented his spot at the helm. Glasner is 33/1 to be the next PL manager sacked, and many believed it was only a matter of time until he managed to turn them around.

The clear and somewhat obvious favourite to win the sack race and be the next manager sacked is Julien Lopetegui. A win over Wolves - who are looking to appoint a new manager - didn’t do too much to convince the bookies he could drag West Ham away from trouble any time soon, and he is placed at 4/7 to be the next manager to lose his job.

Having said that, an unexpected point away against Bournemouth, despite the disappointing fashion it came in on Monday night, may keep his job safe for another week.
