As the season is just two months from the end, the traditional outright bets may not be as profitable. However, BetVictor have introduced a range of new specials markets that have piqued our interest.

Premier League Specials

There are just 10 games left to go in the Premier League, which means that the chance to get the best value on relegation teams, European teams, and of course, the title, has probably slipped away from us a little bit.

However, that does not mean that the league is without value. Fixtures still provide a chance for the occasional bit of value here and there, but BetVictor's new Premier League specials have given us a chance to make some nice selections, in singles or in accumulators.

So without further ado, let's take a look at some of the prices on offer, and whether they actually hold any value for us.

BetVictor Premier League Specials - Odds Watch

Below, you can find some of the biggest prices offered for Premier League teams, whether they have any value, and any selections that I would consider backing.

Arsenal to score 90+ Premier League goals - 4/5

We're starting off with a really strange price I feel, and that is Arsenal to score 90 or more goals. At present, the Gooners have scored 51 times this season, which is lower than four teams.

Looking further at their statistics, they have averaged 1.9 goals per game, and given the 39 goal gap to the bet, they would have to score almost 3.6 times per game for the rest of the season.

Considering they play Manchester United, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool and Newcastle in their final run-in, whilst also still being in the Champions League, I am not going anywhere near this bet.

At 4/5, I think these odds are really, really poor, and I cannot see this coming in at all. For me, avoid.

Arsenal to gain 85+ Premier League points - 2/1

I have no idea who has set up these odds, but if you were considering any of the Arsenal selections, I'd urge you to reconsider. With 54 points this season, the North London side would have to go unbeaten in their final 10 games of the campaign to achieve this points tally.

Hypothetically, if you were to put the side to win or draw their next 10 games, you would almost definitely get better odds, so for me, again, I'm steering clear.

Erling Haaland to score 30+ PL goals - 9/4

Next up, we're moving to the Manchester City Specials, and there is only one thing that I'm going to focus on - Haaland to reach 30 goals this season. For me, and you can probably guess what's coming here, I'd again be inclined to avoid.

Right now, the Norwegian sits on 20 goals this season, which is a very nice tally, however, I cannot see him scoring another 10 goals this season in 11 games.

Yes, he is an absolute freak of nature, and he very much could. Nevertheless, if we take a look at the numbers, there are only seven teams to concede more than 40 goals this season, and City play only four of these teams.

So I'd rather find value elsewhere, once again.

Liverpool to score 95+ PL goals - 1/1

Going back to the goalscorer markets, we're looking at Liverpool to score more than 95 goals, which is 26 more than their current total. However, they play one less game than everyone else, meaning this, once again, averages to around three goals per game.

With an average of 2.4 goals per game this season, they are definitely the best scoring team in the division, and it is by some margin too. Nevertheless, we still want to take a look at the fixtures before making any decisions.

Games against Southampton, West Ham, Leicester and Crystal Palace certainly stick out as chances for the Reds to hit heavy, and perhaps, we can also look at the games against Fulham and Tottenham as potential opportunities.

However, with Arne Slot's side still remaining in the Champions League and the League Cup, we must take this into account.

In the past five seasons, only three teams have surpassed the 95-goal mark, and Liverpool have never done so - though they did get close in the 2021/22 season scoring 94 goals. Furthermore, City (who have done it three times), only won the league on two occasions, so there is definitely not a guarantee in this too.

Long story short, at 1/1, I'm avoiding (I know, I'm a killjoy).

Liverpool to win the PL by 10+ points - 1/3

At present, there is a 15-point gap to Arsenal, though the Gunners do have a game in hand, which means that this gap could very easily become 12 points.

However, I still think that there is a nice chance with this bet, at a low-ish stake. The Reds, despite also being in European competition, have a slightly fuller squad, and though they are more likely to reach the latter stages of the Champions League, I would argue that their depth gives them a better chance.

More importantly, the two sides play each other three games from the end of the season, at Anfield, and considering the Reds have only lost once at home, I would back Slot's side to be able to maintain the 10-point gap.

It's the only bet of six that I somewhat fancy, but again, the odds are not tempting enough for me. However, a small stake could be a play.
