After Liverpool drew 3-3 with Leeds United, Mo Salah came to speak to the media after being left on the bench again. Now, the bookies have priced up a January departure for the star.
Below are the latest betting odds for the Liverpool star's club after the January transfer window at the time of this post.
Many inside Liverpool will have been frustrated by the result against Leeds United. However, when Salah gave an interview after the game, that feeling only deepened. In that moment, when tensions were already high, a bombshell interview was not needed.
Instead, though, the Egyptian star spoke to the press and blamed the club for a few things, as can be seen below (via BBC Sport).
"I don't know why but it seems to me, how I see it, that someone doesn't want me in the club.
"It seems like the club has thrown me under the bus. That is how I am feeling. I think it is very clear that someone wanted me to get all of the blame.
"Yesterday I said to them, come to the Brighton game [on 13 December]. I don't know if I am going to play or not, but I am going to enjoy it. In my head, I'm going to enjoy that game because I don't know what is going to happen now.
"I will be in Anfield to say goodbye to the fans and go to the Africa Cup of Nations. I don't know what is going to happen when I am there."
"If I have played my last game for Liverpool? In football, you never know. I don't accept this situation. I have done so much for this club."
It is one of the most explosive interviews in recent memory. Indeed, for a star like Salah to come out with an interview like this is telling, and it has sent shockwaves around the Premier League and beyond.
As of Monday afternoon, he is not expected to travel for the Champions League game against Inter in midweek, so that may be a potential clue about the club's view on the situation.
Below, you can see a list of the different clubs that Salah could move to, with several options open to him.
Obviously, the markets have opened for other teams, but Bet365's top price is for him to remain at Liverpool. Given that he will spend the next month at AFCON, this is not really a shock. A lot would have to happen in a short period, so it seems unlikely he will leave.
Of course, it is not impossible, but several dominoes would have to fall right and despite the interview, the Reds are not going to rush to part ways. The next week or so could tell us a lot more about the situation.

Considering the interest which has arrived from Saudi Arabia in recent times, it is no surprise that this is the favoured option. Of course, with his wage being around £350,000 a week per reports, any potential suitor must have access to a decent bank account.
Given that the league's dates are the same as the Premier League, there would be no worry about him being ready for the World Cup, which plays a part in any decisions too. It certainly seems the most probable option if he is to leave.

Moving to America does not really make any sense in our view, given the season starts again in February after Inter Miami were crowned champions this week. At 12/1, it isn't really worth considering.

Following the 'Any Club' options, there are a few clubs listed and some of them are of interest. Atletico Madrid are 12/1 with Bet365 and Bayern Munich are 16/1 with William Hill, whilst Roma, Napoli and PSG follow.
From that list, there are only three clubs that I am really interested in, and those are the last three. A move back to Serie A could well be an option. Salah was previously with Roma, and with them fighting for the Scudetto, it could make sense for them to try for a move.
Napoli, on the other hand, have quite a few former Premier League faces and with a decent budget available, they could take a punt on Salah joining to see out the season.
Finally, with their money, it would be impossible to rule out PSG. However, they have a lot of quality on the wings, so it is slightly dubious.

The problem looks to be between Arne Slot and Salah, so the board may have to pick between the duo, and it seems the decision may be a close one...
There are no 'Yes or No' odds for Salah to leave or stay, but the fact that he is 2/5 to remain in Merseyside is telling. Elsewhere, though, Slot is 4/6 to be the next Premier League manager to leave - which is actually the lowest price, making him most likely to go.
It will be interesting to see who is the first to leave...
