Media Watch - Love Island 2025

For those of you who were around for our I'm A Celebrity or Love Island All Stars odd watches and tips, welcome back to Media Watch! If you weren't with us for that, do not worry. This area does what it says on the tin; we take a look at some of the big stories of the past few days in one place to potentially help with any selections.

Original islanders Blue and Megan returned to the villa this week, which has frustrated many fans. In fact, the Daily Star reports that Blu's return, at least, has felt like a waste with viewers struggling to 'wrap their heads' around the decision.

Put it this way, with the final next week, he will not be winning the show. Whilst any new bombshells are ridiculously unlikely.

The Sun relays comments from viewers asking where some key scenes are, after the Grafties left fans questioning if Harry and Shakira had been pursuing things for longer than was actually aired. A confusing one indeed.

Fans, via the same outlet, are also trying to plead to get Shakira to the final of the show. However, with her now recoupled with Harry, it seems a little unlikely.

Things should also be quite interesting tonight, as the families are entering the villa, as reported by Heart. So, certain couples are going to be facing a lot of scrutiny. However, it could, potentially, secure a win for one couple, I think.

Who Is the Favourite to Win Love Island?

I think it is quite obvious who wins this season of Love Island now, with the couple markets opening. There, of course, could be some shocks in the final week. However, the couples will probably not change now.

Toni and Cach are the clear favourites now to win the show next week, and are priced around the Evens mark, which still feels like good value. After tonight's episode with the parents, I feel that price will only drop.

Yasmin and Jamie are the only real competitors I feel to things, and they are around 3/1 at the moment, after leading the odds for a while last week. Nevertheless, I think the favourites are too strong now.

Harry and Shakira's price may drop, and has already been shortened to 7/1 in some places. However, Coral are offering 10s at the moment, which could provide a little further. I don't see them winning, though.
