This season, the top six have progressed nicely in League One with the odd slip-up. However, this weekend, almost every team in the top six dropped points - perhaps a spanner in the works?

Does Stuttering Matter for Birmingham?

Finding new words to say about this Birmingham team is a real challenge admittedly. Realistically, we could leave this section blank the same until the end of the season, and there would be no harm done at all.

Despite dropping points this weekend, there has been no change in confidence and the Bluenoses still have a six-point gap over Wycombe with two games in hand - in other words, the title is heading to St Andrews.

Wrexham Capitalise as Others Drop

We only had one winner in the top six this weekend - Wrexham, who won at Mansfield in the Matchday's last fixture of the weekend. In all ways, this was an ideal situation for the Welsh side, and now they are looking up once again.

Winning on away travels is huge, especially with teams around them dropping points and it now means they are just three points away from Wycombe. It is not too farfetched to suggest that they could get themselves up there.

Wycombe are the obvious next team to discuss, and although they have not lost in their past five, they have only won two games, which has allowed Wrexham to catch up slightly. When Matt Bloomfield left, I was slightly wary of a drop-off, but it has certainly not been drastic if it has happened at all.

Failing to beat Wigan at home is certainly a bit of a shock considering how good the Chairboys have been this season, and it may be worth looking at other odds if you fancy taking the side on.

Stockport's good form took a hit this weekend with the loss to Cambridge United, who have struggled this season. A 2-0 loss with 10 men is quite a disappointment, and considering other teams have games in hand, it is a really bad result you have to say.

Luckily, Huddersfield also dropped points, so Dave Challinor will not be too concerned just yet. The Terriers have been very up and down recently, and if they do not pick up some consistency soon, there is a serious risk of them falling off.

Like Huddersfield for Stockport, the West Yorkshire outfit will be slightly relieved by the fact that Leyton Orient did not pick up points. The O's lost to Bolton away from home, which is a huge result for the hosts and they will be looking up the table.

Aside from Bolton, Charlton and Reading also will be looking to get into the top six, and with each side winning their games, there is a chance that they can catch up.

Tables Turn at the Bottom

With the top six failing to pick up points, things are a bit confusing. So with the bottom six also seeing a bit of a shakeup, we have had a really intriguing week of League One action.

Cambridge United returned to winning ways under their new head coach Neil Harris. Beating Stockport is a huge result, and to do it convincingly, as the U's did, will only breed confidence moving forward even if they are still bottom of the table.

Teetering above them is Shrewsbury, and a loss to Stevenage has left things quite worrying. In recent months, Gareth Ainsworth's side have picked up some big results, especially at home, but they've now lost two games in a week at New Meadow, which is slightly worrying.

Crawley also failed to win, and despite being 2-1 down against 10 men, it was Blackpool who scored next, which is quite a worrying sign for the side. Nevertheless, they have a game in hand so they won't be too worried just yet.

Burton have returned to their winning ways recently and with their second win on the bounce, they are on the verge of exiting the relegation zone. They have built up a nice barrier to the other teams in the relegation zone, so their chances of staying up are definitely in an alright position.

Peterborough also returned to winning ways at the weekend against Huddersfield at the John Smith's Stadium - which is a huge result for Posh. However, things are very tight for the side, so they are by no means safe.

There are only six points separating 14th-placed Rotherham and 21st-placed Burton, so there is still a lot to play for yet.
