Chelsea to Decide Between Osimhen and Delap This Summer - Latest Odds

In recent years, Chelsea have become notorious for signing talent willy-nilly, and the Blues may make their latest big purchase this summer, with the club looking for a new striker.

Chelsea's Potential New Striker - Odds and Insight

With the summer transfer window quickly approaching, betting sites are starting to price up a number of transfer specials. BetVictor has provided a few individual odds markets, so we have gone through them as Chelsea are rumoured to sign a striker.

Whilst it is likely that Chelsea may try to sign one (or more) of the players on this list, they may look elsewhere too, so be mindful of this when making your selection(s).

Liam Delap - 7/2

Delap has been one of those English talents seemingly destined to play Premier League football for a few years, and this season, he made the step up (potentially earlier than expected) with Ipswich Town making a move for the youngster.

Despite the Tractor Boys' fortunes, the striker has scored 12 goals, which is superb in a struggling side, and with Town looking likely to head back to the Championship, several clubs will make a move.

He was bought for £15 million in the summer, and it seems that with relegation this summer, the club will be parting ways for just £30m, due to a release clause in his contract. It would not be a surprise at all if Chelsea are all over this, like reports suggest they are.

Victor Osimhen - 6/1

After a phenomenal 2022/23 campaign, where Napoli won the Scudetto, Osimhen had struggles with the club throughout the 23/24 season, and a departure seemed increasingly likely heading into last summer.

However, no clubs were fancying paying the £100+ million price tag, and so he headed on loan to Galatasaray with the relationship past the breaking point. This summer, he will return to Naples, but only to pick up the last of his belongings as a move seems imminent.

At 2/1, Juventus are the favourites to sign the striker, but the Nigerian may prefer a move to the Premier League at this time, which would make the Blues one of the frontrunners.

Viktor Gyokeres - 8/1

It would not be a surprise if Chelsea attempted to make a move for Gyokeres this summer, considering he is seemingly destined to head towards the Premier League. In recent years, he has dominated in the Championship and now the Portuguese top flight, showing he is more than ready for the Premier League.

The Blues have not been afraid to throw about money as of late, so there would imaginably not be any struggle in bringing the Swede to London, if they wished to do so.

It is worth noting that Arsenal are the current favourites to land the striker, so factor this in when making a bet.

Alexander Isak- 25/1

Finally, it is worth mentioning the odds of Isak. At 25/1, it is a move that very likely will not happen, but it would be no shock if the London outfit were prepared to spend over the odds to land the elite striker.

It is certainly not the best bet available on the Swede, but stranger things have definitely happened.
