Who Were the Winners of Baller League Game Week 4?

With four game weeks of 12 under our belt in the Baller League UK, the spread from top to bottom of the standings is becoming quite stark. Deportrio and Yanited still hold 100% records with four wins from four but it's the former who lead the table on 13 points courtesy of one bonus point.

At the other end, three teams are still searching for their first wins of the season. John Terry's 26ers and FC Rules the World, who boast Josh Harrop in their squad, are at least off the mark with points whilst N5 FC are still locked on zero points with a -11 goal difference.

Who Are the Favourites to Win Baller League UK?

The evolution of the Baller League continues with each passing game week and we're continuing to see some considerable shifts in betting odds. Here are the latest outright Baller League odds and how they have moved from last week.

  • Deportrio 15/8

Match of the Day presenter and former England striker Gary Lineker continues to prove he has more strings to his bow than just those couple with his Baller League side sitting pretty at the summit of the table after four wins from four at the start of this campaign.

They were favourites before a ball was kicked and have remained that ever since; their current price of 15/8 has shortened from 5/2 last week too. That gives them a boost of over 6% where outright probability is concerned - the biggest improvement of the game week - with their probability of winning Baller League now sitting at an implied 35%.

  • Yanited 5/2

If we applaud the work of Lineker and co, we should give the same recognition to the start Yanited have made to the competition. Along with Deportrio, they are the only side yet to drop a point

They were less convincing than their title rivals this week though with their 7-3 win over FC Rules the World, who have slipped to 33/1 from 20/1 in the outright betting as result, looking far more comfortable than it actually was. The scoreline was as close as 5-3 with 60 seconds left on the clock with the match stats very even.

  • M7 FC 12/1

If you are looking for a value pick, M7 FC might be an intriguing choice. They currently sit sixth in the standings but only one win off the top four, which would put them into the play-off mix come game week 11.

Admittedly, they have lost twice already but they showed great character in game week four, coming back from 4-1 down to beat Trebol, who have seen the biggest drop off in their chances to win outright with their probability reducing by over 4%.

It is also noteworthy that one of their losses came against Deportrio courtesy of a last minute goal. M7 had twice as many shots and more possession in that match, which shows they are capable of competing with the more fancied sides in a one-off game if they can sneak into the top four.

  • N5 FC 100/1

If you're feeling particularly bold with your outright predictions, you can back N5 FC as a 100/1 shot to lift the Baller League title. We wouldn't recommend it though; they sit winless from four games despite having the better of their game with Wembley Rangers yesterday, which they ultimately lost 5-4.

With nine points now separating them from the all-important top four it is perhaps unsurprising that their probability now sits at a lowly 1%.
