Who Were the Winners of Baller League Game Week 10?

It has been yet another good week for Deportrio in the Baller League, with their place in the top four ahead of the final game week now confirmed. It's a similar story for Yanited, which is probably deserved for the duo, with both being the by far standout teams throughout. MVPs United are looking like a side that have peaked at the right time too.

If those three sides are looking good ahead of the final game week, then it leaves four vying for just one more spot. That has the potential for insane levels of drama in game week 11.

Who Are the Favourites to Win Baller League UK?

Here are the latest outright Baller League odds and how they have moved from last week.

  • Deportrio 2/1

Gary Lineker put his Match of the Day exit behind him on Monday night with his Baller League side, Deportrio, securing their top four place in the standings. They have long been the bookies' pick and have seen their probability grow again after game week 10.

It wasn't all plain sailing for the 2/1 favourites though. 26ers raced into a 2-0 lead but Bakary Sako inspired a comeback with a hat-trick and, ultimately, saw them to a 7-5 wins.

  • Yanited 12/5

It perhaps showcases what a good side Deportrio are that Yanited are only second favourites with the bookmakers. Angry Ginge's men recorded the biggest winning margin of game week 10, running out 6-1 winners over VZN.

More than just that though, Yanited also boast the best attacking stats in the competition with 46 goals scored and the fiercest defence with only 27 goals conceded.

It is those stats that see their probability of winning the trophy growing week on week. Despite Deportrio edging them at the moment, 12/5 represents an uptick in their chances of 4.4% from game week nine.

  • MVPs United 7/1

MVPs United now find themselves well positioned to secure a top four finish as they hold a three point lead over fourth and, importantly, fifth place. They beat Santan in game week eight, Yanited last week and followed that up with a 7-5 victory over Trebol on Monday evening.

With a couple of recent wins over teams likely to join them in the playoffs, they will have confidence in going all the way.

  • Who Will Clinch Final Playoff Spot?

Deportrio and Yanited will finish in the top four. MVPs United look very likely to lock down one of those spots as well. That means there will be one from four teams joining them in the playoffs.

Right now, the fourth position belongs to Santan, who are a 15/2 price to win Baller League outright. They have seen their probability improve from the previous week, which isn't the case for the other three sides.

VZN and SDS have both seen their probabilities drop by 0.9% with Trebol, who suffered that aforementioned loss to MVPs United, seeing their probability shrink from 11.1% down to 6.7%; that makes them a 14/1 shot.

With all the odds considered, the biggest threat to Santan is 10/1 priced VZN. Even at that price, we're not convinced the value on an outright win is particularly attractive; they have failed to win since game week five! SDS, who are unbeaten in four games with three straight wins, are 25/1 to get their hands on silverware; it is far from impossible that they sneak fourth come next week.
