talkSPORT is a brand known globally after the heavily successful radio show. With this success, the brand decided to try its hand in the betting world and partnered with the BV Group - the talkSPORT BET app first became available to customers in November 2022.
Available on both iOS and Android, the app ranks very highly among punters on iOS, with a score of 4.4/5 from nearly 5,000 reviews, which is hugely impressive. On Android, the reviews are still largely positive (4.1/5), however, this is from a much lower sample size of only 500 reviews.
These ratings mean that the app boasts an average rating of 4.25 stars across both stores, which puts it near the highest-rated betting apps available for punters, and it is understandable why.
More importantly, the app is a big focus for talkSport and with 14 updates in 2024, there is a dedication to ensuring that the product is always improving.

If you would like to find out how to register on the talkSPORT BET App, you can follow our step-by-step guide below:
Once you have entered the talkSPORT BET app, you will be prompted to create an account or sign in, and if you do not already have an account with the bookmaker, it is easy to create one. Simply tap the sign-up message shown in the top right corner of the app, and let's begin!
The first step to creating an account is providing your personal details - name, telephone number and Date of Birth - and this is to help verify you for an account.
Following this, you will be asked to enter your address, but this is made easier by the postcode finder option, which adds ease and speed to the process.
Then, you will be asked to create your account details, so provide your email address, create a password, read the terms & conditions and tap 'Create Account'.
On the next screen, you will be presented with the sign-up offers available, so you can choose in-app which is a rarity!
talkSPORT BET is really impressive when it comes to transactions. We often see new bookmakers taking longer to process and complete withdrawal requests, and the payment options are normally limited, but this was not the case with talkSPORT BET.
The bookmaker offers three methods of payment: debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay and seeing the inclusion of the latter is immensely impressive, given some of the best bookmakers have not yet fully rolled out the Android alternative.
Below, we have collected everything you need to know about deposits and withdrawals on the talkSPORT BET app:
Payment Method | Min. Limit | Max. Limit | Transaction Fee | Processing Time |

Visa | £5 | £30,000 | No fee | Instant |
Mastercard | £5 | £30,000 | No fee | Instant |

Google Pay | £5 | £1,000 | No fee | Instant |
Payment Method | Min. Limit | Max. Limit | Transaction Fee | Processing Time |

If you are new to the talkSPORT BET app and would like some assistance with depositing funds, you can follow our step-by-step guide below:
To start the process, you must head to the ‘Deposit’ cashier. Luckily for customers, this is easy to do. Either tap the yellow ‘Deposit’ at the top of the screen or tap the ‘Profile’ icon and then the ‘Deposit’ option.
Following this, you must now choose your deposit method. As this was our first time depositing, we were only shown two methods: Apple Pay and Debit Card. In our tests, we always use debit cards, so this is the method we chose. You also need to enter the payment method details before proceeding.
Now that you have selected the payment method, the next step is to enter your deposit amount. Whilst the minimum deposit is £5, we chose to deposit £10, as is the standard when we test bookmakers.
Once you have done this, you will usually be taken to a confirmation page which shows that your deposit was successful. However, when we made our deposit it showed us a white screen (likely an error), but our transaction was still completed.
If you are unsure about how to withdraw funds on the talkSPORT BET app, you can follow our step-by-step below for some assistance:
Just like when depositing funds at talkSPORT BET, you must enter the ‘Profile’ area of the site/app. Instead of tapping the ‘Deposit’ option, though, tap the ‘Withdraw’ option.
Once you have reached the withdrawal cashier, you will have a choice of several payment methods. We use a debit card as our standard, and given this was our first withdrawal, it was also the only method we could use.
Now that you have confirmed your method of withdrawal, you must enter the amount that you would like to withdraw. The minimum is £5 but as we tend to do, we withdrew £10.
Finally, you will be taken to a confirmation screen which tells you that the withdrawal has been completed. In our test with a Visa debit card, it took 12 hours for the money to be withdrawn to our account, but when using Apple Pay the transaction was completed in minutes.
With the name of the brand, it comes as no surprise to see that talkSPORT BET prioritises the sports area of things. After entering the app, you are immediately presented with a host of football odds and fixtures as well as horse racing events, whilst also being shown some bet boosts - which offer good value.
Should you wish to bet on other things, doing so is very easy. By pressing one button (the 'Menu' option in the bottom left) you are shown a list of the most popular sports (which are also shown on the home screen), which can then be extended further by tapping the 'Sports A-Z' option to widen your choices.
This means that you can access the most popular sports within three clicks, and to browse less popular markets, you do not have to do much more - which we have rarely seen before from new betting apps.
The ease and smoothness of things go hand in hand with the BV Group partnership, and customers who are fans of the BetVictor app will have no problems operating this app, given the pair are almost identical - obviously with their own different perks.
Should you wish to search for a specific market, this is once again very simple. Heading back to the aforementioned menu area, simply tap the search bar at the top of the screen and type the event or name of the selection to be brought straight to the relevant area.
talkSPORT BET prioritises the user experience, and this shines through when placing bets themselves or browsing the markets. For example, when looking to place a football bet, the app promotes bet boosts above the most popular competitions.
In terms of selections for specific fixtures, we want to highlight the information presented in the match hub section. Not only can customers find the standings of the teams, but also head-to-head stats and other key match stats such as top scorers and form.
Of course, this is also a big help when placing bet builders, which is another thing done with ease on the app. Selections are well-sectioned, and browsing the wide range of different options is smooth, making the experience quick - which certainly helps if you've left your browsing slightly too late!
Taking a deeper look at horse racing, talkSPORT BET offers the Best Odds Guaranteed promotion whilst also offering a 'No Horsing Around' promotion, which sees customers get their money back if their horse has no chance of winning after the race goes off. An innovative and very nice promotion, we must admit.
In addition to this, punters can watch their selections in action with the talkSPORT BET streaming options, and the app even offers a host of international race streaming - for example on some South African races.
We have always been quite pleasantly surprised by the talkSPORT BET casino area, we must admit. New bookmakers have a somewhat frustrating habit of overlooking the casino area, but this is not the case with this operator.
Instead, the casino is up there with the best offered by the market leaders, and there is a really nice range of games, slots and classic casino games available for customers, which we love.
Finding this area can be done via the top of the home screen, where the Casino and Live Casino areas are promoted, and they are both worth checking out.
Accessing talkSPORT BET’s Customer Support areas is very easy to do. Tap the ‘Menu’ option in the bottom left corner, scroll down to the bottom, and tap the ‘Help Centre’ option.
Unfortunately, this will take you out of the app, which is quite frustrating, and there is a general lack of a presented FAQ area, which again, is annoying. Additionally, the 'Contact Us' option is one of the last options and we would prefer this to be higher, especially in the absence of an FAQ area.
However, there is a 'Contact Us' area later down in the app's menu, and this presents a few options such as an SMS message and an in-app chatbot, which is a bit of a saving grace.
Having used several new betting apps, my expectations were that the talkSPORT BET app would be closer to those, rather than the ones dominating the UK market. However, I was pleasantly surprised.
The app has a quality similar to the best on the market, and there were no problems that I ran into which soured my view of the app. Navigation is easy, selections are easily accessible and there is a lot of content available on the app.
Without sounding like a broken record, new betting apps are not usually competitors for the best betting sites, but talkSPORT BET has all the marks to compete, and this is certainly a positive thing.
