Lottoland is one of the newer bookmakers on the market, and it is growing at a nice rate. Founded in 2013 initially as a website, the bookmaker has continually looked to innovate and the launch of the app in 2016 was another sign of this. The bookie went a step further in 2019 with the launch of its sportsbook.
Across both the Apple and Google Play Stores, Lottoland boasts an impressive rating - 4.5 stars from nearly 1,500 reviews on the iOS Store, and a rating of 4.2 from nearly 4,500 reviews on the Google Play store, and it is understandable why the apps are rated highly.
Since the start of 2024, there have been eight updates to the app which shows the commitment to keeping the experience of using the app as smooth as possible. Lottoland also does not have any sister sites to worry about.

If you would like to find out how to register on the Lottoland App, you can follow our step-by-step guide below:
Creating an account on the Lottoland app is very easy to do. To begin the process, simply open the app and then tap the profile icon in the bottom right corner.
First of all, you will need to enter your email and preferred password for the Lottoland account. Then, just below that, you will need to enter your full name and date of birth. Scroll down after this.
Next up, you will need to enter your country of residence and home address. It is important to make sure that this is correct, given that Lottoland will use it to verify the account.
Lottoland has set a deposit limit of £2,000 per day, but you can tick 'No limit' before signing up if you do not want this. You also have to accept the T&Cs, and then you just need to tap on 'Create a new account' to complete the process.
With Lottoland still being relatively new onto the scene, it is understandable why the payment options are somewhat limited on the app. At least Apple Pay has been added recently by the bookie, which is great step in the right direction.

If you are new to the Lottoland app and would like some assistance with depositing funds, you can follow our step-by-step guide below:
To begin the deposit process, simply enter the 'Profile' area in the bottom right corner of the screen, then, tap the 'Deposit' option to enter the cashier.
Once you have entered this section, you will be given some pre-selected deposit amounts to choose from, alternatively, you can enter your own deposit amount - for our test, we deposited £10. It should be noted that Lottoland accepts deposits as low as £1 (!). Additionally, you can enter a Lottoland promo code here.
The next step is to select your deposit method, and then enter your payment details. Following this, tap the green 'Deposit' button.
Finally, you will be taken to a confirmation screen, which will confirm the deposit has been completed. To begin betting, tap the green 'Bet Here' option, and begin browsing the markets.
If you are unsure about how to withdraw funds on the Lottoland app, you can follow our step-by-step below for some assistance:
After opening the app and signing in, you need to tap on the profile icon in the top-right corner of your screen. Then, select the ‘Withdraw’ option in the menu that pops up.
When you have entered the cashier, you will be asked to confirm the withdrawal amount - interestingly, you will be shown your balance as well, which is sometimes rare. Then, choose how you would like to withdraw your funds.
Finally, you will be asked to 'Perform' the withdrawal. If all the details are correct, tap the green 'Withdraw now' button. Once again, you will be shown your available balance, this time after the withdrawal which is a nice touch.
Unfortunately, Lottoland will not take you back to the home screen, but it will display a message stating that the withdrawal procedure is underway. It also states that the funds will take some time to be sent from Lottoland, with a confirmation email then confirming funds will arrive after 5-15 days.
However, this sounded too strange to be true and sure enough, it took just 21 hours for the funds to arrive in our account. Lottoland might want to update that message to avoid unnecessary worry among its customers.
The Lottoland entry/home screen is very different to the majority of bookmakers, and from the get-go, it is easy to tell that Lottoland is not a sports-focused bookmaker. However, this is well known given the name and when they added a sportsbook.
In all fairness, though, they do not claim to be a sporting-focused bookmaker, so we are not going to 'mark them down' as such for this. Another thing in the bookie's favour is the lack of sister sites, so there is a clear focus on making the core product good before expanding any more.
Once you have entered the app, simply tap the 'Sports' prompt on the home screen, and you will be taken to the sports area of the app. It is fair to say this area looks very familiar to sports gamblers.
As is a commodity on sports-focused apps, the app promotes some upcoming fixtures at the top of the screen - in our case a game in the Championship. The bookie also highlights a 'Boosted Odds' section, where customers can find some interesting selections with some nice value.
Should you wish to find more specific things, it is very easy to do through Lottoland's 'A-Z All Sports' area, and there is a fantastic range of sports and quality on offer. For example, you can bet on a range of football divisions or Alpine Skiing fixtures, and they are equally as easy to find.
Looking at the football section in further depth, the layout of the football area makes finding fixtures easy to find, and then browsing selections is very easy to do. Furthermore, this is the case when creating Bet Builders, and there is a nice range of things available. Interestingly, Lottoland also offers a 'Tips' area, where some fantastic information is displayed for the fixture you are looking at.
Unfortunately, the experience of betting on horse racing is not as good, given there is a lack of UK markets to bet on. When we trialled the app, we could only find Irish, American, Mexican and Argentinian horse racing, and whilst you can stream the races, it is quite a lacklustre area.
On the topic of streaming, Lottoland offers a fantastic range of in-play options, again, across a range of sports, which is very appreciated. Furthermore, Lottoland provides the ability to search for live sports that can be streamed, which is highly appreciated.
Another section of interest is Lottoland's 'Bet Mentor' tool, which allows customers to insert a bet amount of their choice, alongside an ideal returning amount, and then presents some selections - certainly, an interesting tool that we have not seen before.
Understandably, the casino area is slightly better than the sports area, and there is a wide range of different games available in this area. The games area focuses on slot games, and whilst there are some live games and table games, they are not the heavy focus.
Lottoland brags a vast array of different slots, and many are well-known casino games such as 'Big Bass Bonanza', 'Starburst' and 'Aviation'. Additionally, there are low-stake table games such as '10p Roulette' which means customers can vary their stakes.
Additionally, Lottoland offers a wide range of Lottery games, hence the name Lottoland, and there are several jackpots from across the globe that can be won - as a UK customer, we were offered American, Brazilian and South African lotteries.
Getting customer support on the Lottoland app is very easy to do, and the area can be found through the app's 'Profile' area, which in turn is located in the bottom right corner of the home screen.
From here, the app offers a 24-hour assistance option, which allows customers to find a subject to request assistance on, with a subject and area to expand on their query. The downside to this is that there is no live assistance, and Lottoland states that a reply could take 48 hours, if not longer at peak times.
In addition to this, there is an FAQ area at the bottom of the support area, where previously published answers are made available if the query is in relation to an already answered subject.
Lottoland is not an app for sports gambling, and whilst it does not claim to be, the app is an extension of this. Whilst the attempts to support a sports-focused customer can be appreciated, it is difficult to see where the Lottoland app would enter our betting rotation, so to speak.
The casino options are nice, but again, when other options provide casino options that are as good, and a much better sportsbook, it again makes it difficult to see where the app would play a role in our rotation.
In terms of the app itself, the interface is quite nice, and the app is easy to navigate. One small frustration from the app is that there is no 'back' option in some areas, which can make navigation difficult. Aside from that, there are no major issues with the app.
