Theonlinecasino is a brand new online gambling site that was founded in 2020 and launched in the UK in 2021. Theonlinecasino joins a long list of white label gambling sites operated and licensed by ProgressPlay Ltd.
TheOnlineCasino is one of the newest online casinos and sportsbooks out there, so it is well worth checking out to see if this fresh face in the market can compete with bigger rivals.
Despite the name TheOnlineCasino, the sportsbook is what will draw plenty of people to join the site, which offers 24/7 customer service to solve any account issues around the clock.
With TheOnlineCasino being so new, potential players are likely to have a lot of questions about how the site works and what it has to offer.
This complete review of TheOnlineCasino will tell you everything you need to know, so let's get started with a brief history of this new betting brand.
Founded in 2020, TheOnlineCasino has been working hard to make a splash in a competitive industry despite its relative youth.
Launching as both an online casino and a new sportsbook was quite an unusual move given sites usually start as one or the other before adding more gambling products later on.
The stated aim of TheOnlineCasino is "to provide quality entertainment to people who enjoy gambling, by giving them the opportunity to do so in a safe, fun, fair, regulated and secure and enjoyable online gaming experience possible".
The online casino and sportsbook are run through a company called ProgressPlay Limited, which like a lot of other firms in the industry has its base in St. Julians, Malta.
ProgressPlay is responsible for a number of recognisable betting brands in the industry, including 2kBet, BazingaBet, and BetDukes, while most of these run on a white-label basis.
TheOnlineCasino might be very new compared to some of the other top UK betting sites on the market, but the site already offers a few different gambling products, such as the following:
The next part of our complete guide to TheOnlineCasino will cover each of the three departments in more detail, helping users to decide if the site is the right one to join.
As the name suggests, TheOnlineCasino is mainly an online casino but there is a sportsbook section on the site as well. Unfortunately, the sportsbook is quite limited when compared to most other major sites, with not that many options when it comes to both sports and markets.
Football, basketball and hockey seem to be the main sports to bet on at TheOnlineCasino, with not much on the site for other popular sports such as cricket, tennis, golf and UFC/MMA betting. There is also a section for esports betting, but at the time of writing, there were no markets available.
Even in the football section, the Bundesliga is given a prime position and there is not a particularly good menu section to navigate to other top leagues and competitions. It is clear that it does not have the high standard of the best football bookies.
Among the other issues with the sportsbook at TheOnlineCasino is the site does not make it possible to browse markets for specific events or matches without logging in. It is unclear how the site expects to sign up users if they cannot even see what bets will be available for them.
In terms of the odds on the sportsbook at TheOnlineCasino, they are middle of the road at best and certainly not providing some of the top value in the industry. There is also no sign of any live streaming - most top sportsbooks have lots of streams available nowadays - while the live betting section is quite poor compared to a lot of other sportsbooks on the market as well.
Perhaps the live casino section is where TheOnlineCasino smashes it out of the park? There is certainly plenty of choices, with about 50 different live dealer games available to pick from. Each of these is streamed via high-quality video and they work fine, so this is something worth recommending an account with TheOnlineCasino for, rather than the sportsbook.
At the live casino on TheOnlineCasino, the main options are baccarat, roulette and blackjack. Different rooms are available for stake levels in each of these games, while there are more than enough variations to keep casual players entertained as well.
Most of the live casino games on the site appear to be provided by Evolution Gaming, which is arguably the leader in this field, though there is also a live roulette game from NetEnt that is available to try out. A couple of poker games are offered, but there is not much to pick from.
One of the downsides of TheOnlineCasino's live casino is the lack of modern alternatives to the casino classics. A lot of online casinos these days now allow their users to play live casino games based on the likes of Monopoly, Deal or No Deal or Crazy Time, but none of those games is currently available at TheOnlineCasino, though they may be added eventually.
TheOnlineCasino's live casino has potential, but there is still a lot of work to be done here.
Although the sportsbook is a disappointment, this is not what most people will be joining TheOnlineCasino for. And the online casino on the site is a much more attractive proposition.
The site claims to be among the UK's favourite online gambling destinations and while this is difficult to verify accurately, the online casino is a lot better than the sportsbook, without a doubt.
One of the top-selling points of an account with TheOnlineCasino is that there are a lot of gambling games to try for free. This is good news for those who prefer to test out a game such as an online slot before risking any of their own cash on a spin of the reels.
NetEnt, Microgaming and other top providers have their games featured on TheOnlineCasino, which has hundreds of slots to pick from. There is a choice between a grid and a list view of the slots, but they are not split into categories like at most other major online casinos.
A search function is offered but at the time of writing, it was not actually working. Most sites have sections for popular games, new games and exclusives, making it easier to navigate, but these are missing at TheOnlineCasino. Unfortunately, TheOnlineCasino simply does not stack up to its peers when it comes to making it simple to find the top games it has to offer.
Video poker has seen its popularity fade in recent times as more modern gambling games take up more attention instead. Those who still like to play video poker will find a decent selection here, though, with options such as Double Bonus Poker, Deuces Wild and Jacks or Better all available to play at TheOnlineCasino.
Roulette, blackjack and baccarat dominate when it comes to card and table games at TheOnlineCasino, which is the same story as most other online casinos. There is plenty of variation for each of these three games, though, which is a tick in the box for the site.
Online scratch cards have their own section at TheOnlineCasino and they could be a popular pick given they offer a chance to win a life-changing amount of cash in a matter of moments.
Poker fans might feel a little let down if they sign up for an account at TheOnlineCasino, though. There is no dedicated poker space on the site so those who want to try their luck with a hand or two at the virtual tables might be better suited by signing up to an alternative online casino.
One good thing about TheOnlineCasino is the site lists all of its game payouts in a much clearer manner than at other sites. Therefore, it is simple to see which slots provide poor value - such as Agent Jane Blonde which has a payout percentage of under 92 per cent - and which might be a better pick, like Big Bad Wolf, where the payout percentage is between 97 and 98 per cent.
TheOnlineCasino claims to also have some exclusives, but it is not possible to see what titles these are because of the lack of navigation on the site.
Any new site has to work hard to convince potential customers that it meets the mark when it comes to security and regulation, with TheOnlineCasino quite impressive in this area.
The site is licensed and regulated by Malta Gaming Authority while ProgressPlay Limited is also licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission.
Security is crucial for online casinos and sportsbooks. To protect the data of their users, TheOnlineCasino has put 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption and firewall technology in place, while the company stresses that world-renowned companies handle all transactions.
TheOnlineCasino also bears the mark of approval from the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, though there is no mention on the site of how its games are tested. Usually, online casinos use a testing agency such as eCOGRA in order to make sure their games are paying out at the right rate, but it is unclear whether this is the case at TheOnlineCasino.
All in all, though, TheOnlineCasino appears to be solid in the security and regulation department though there are plenty of other areas where the site is quite disappointing.

Tried this as well its a free bet. Yes they take a transaction fee but its barely minimal and does take a bit on withdrawals but did get worried on that but they did pay out which I was pleased about. Always read the terms cause withdrawing when you got a bonus still wipes out the bonus. I never read terms and on free bet had 1x wagering which was a tab strange. But overall good experience

BEWARE - SCAM SITE do not trust with your money they will delete your bonus funds and blame on you. And they do not let you withdraw your actual funds. It is a well run scam and they will accuse you of lying or making mistakes - and then hang up when you prove them wrong. They have several companies under the same main company in Cyprus
