Manchester City are still narrowly clear of Arsenal in the Premier League title race betting odds after both teams won their games at the weekend to maintain the status quo in the run-in.

The Gunners played first and eased to a 3-0 home win against Bournemouth in Saturday's early kick-off, with Declan Rice adding late gloss to the scoreline in their fourth straight win. But if City felt any pressure as a result of Arsenal moving four points clear, they did not show it one bit.

Erling Haaland tucked away an early penalty to put City 1-0 ahead early against Wolves at the Etihad Stadium and before the break he had scored from the spot again to claim the match ball. City ran out 5-1 winners in the end but Arsenal still have a +6 advantage in goal difference, as well as a point lead at the top, although Pep Guardiola's side have a game in hand to play.

That extra fixture comes away to Arsenal's fierce rivals Tottenham next week, but the bookies see City easing to a fourth straight title. They are now 2/5 in the Premier League outright odds.

Arsenal arguably have harder games on paper - they go to Manchester United next weekend before wrapping up the campaign at home to in-form Everton. The bookmakers are offering 9/4 for Mikel Arteta's men to overhaul City, while Liverpool can be backed at 750/1 after boosting their slim hopes of winning the league with a thumping 4-2 home win over Spurs on Sunday.

Haaland took complete control of the Golden Boot race with his stunning four-goal haul against Wolves. The Norway striker is now four goals clear of his nearest rival for the prize - Chelsea's Cole Palmer - and priced at 1/25 in the Premier League top scorer betting odds. The in-form Palmer is offered at 25/1, with both Chelsea and City having three games remaining this season.

Spurs missed the chance to put close in on Aston Villa in the race for Champions League qualification, having fallen to a fourth successive Premier League loss. Villa were also beaten at the weekend, losing 1-0 at Brighton, but they still have a seven-point cushion to Spurs.

Unai Emery's men are at 1/20 to secure fourth place, but their next game is at home to Liverpool, while Spurs have drifted out to 16/1 thanks to their latest league loss.

Chelsea's 5-0 thrashing of West Ham maintains their much-improved recent form, and the bookies have shortened their Premier League top-six finish betting odds to just 3/1 as a result.

But incumbents Newcastle United are still in pole position for sixth spot after winning easily at Burnley on Saturday, with the Magpies at 8/11 in that market.

Manchester United's Premier League top-six finish betting odds will change after the outcome of Monday's trip to Crystal Palace, but they are currently being offered at 7/2.
