BetMVP UK Review (April 2024)

BetMVP is yet another new online betting site that is now available to join for UK players. Unfortunately, BetMVP does not currently have a signup bonus for new customers. Instead, check out our list of exclusive free bets worth over £2000.

Having only been launched in the summer of 2021, many sports fans in the country may be unaware of BetMVP, which combines an online casino with a comprehensive sportsbook.

UK players already know there is a lot of competition for their business in the online sports betting world, so what is BetMVP doing to try to make the site stand out from the crowd?

Users will want to know whether BetMVP is safe and legal to use for online betting in the UK before they decide whether or not to join, while they are likely to have other questions too.

For example, potential UK players might be interested in whether or not BetMVP has a live sports streaming service, an app, what free bet bonuses and promotions are offered, and what markets it has.

Our complete review of the BetMVP UK sportsbook site has all the full details, so read on.

Introduction to BetMVP

New UK online betting sites seem to be springing up all the time, with Bet MVP among those to launch in the summer of 2021, aiming to take advantage of the delayed Euros tournament.

The sportsbook, which also has a casino section, is owned and operated by Vivaro Limited. The Malta-based company is an experienced operator and BetMVP can be deemed safe to use as a result of Vivaro Limited being licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission. Vivaro is also the brains behind online gambling brands such as Playland Casino and Vbet Casino too.

Bet MVP boasts 24/7 customer service - more on that later - which puts it ahead of many peers within the industry where this help and support is available at certain times of the day. There are no Bet MVP mobile betting apps for iOS and Android, but the BetMVP mobile site works well enough.

As with all online gambling sites these days, BetMVP has a responsible gaming policy that it says has been designed to help with "minimising the negative effects of problem gambling and promoting responsible gambling practices". Integrity, fairness and reliability are highlighted by Bet MVP as its guiding principles and the site has teamed up with independent organisations running age verification to make sure that all of its UK players are of the legal gambling age.

Bet MVP says that all of its products have been tested through the leading testing laboratories - though the company does not state who these are - while people signing up to bet on the site are advised to set a daily, weekly or monthly deposit limit within their account settings as well. According to a mission statement posted on the Bet MVP site: "We are committed to providing the highest level of player satisfaction and setting the top standard for the online casino and sportsbook industry, so the rest may follow." This is a lofty goal so can Bet MVP meet the mark?

BetMVP Sportsbook Review

The first thing to note about the Bet MVP sportsbook is the striking colour scheme. While a lot of top UK online sportsbooks have a bright, airy feel at Bet MVP the dominant colour is black. This will appeal to some people, but it is fair to say that the black and gold colour scheme will not be for everyone and it is not always easy to read text on the site either, which is far from ideal.

When it comes to the list of sports available to bet on at Bet MVP, the offering is fairly strong but there are a couple of notable omissions. At the time of writing this full Bet MVP review, the site did not have any horse racing or greyhounds betting markets available. These are often missing from the list of UK betting sites, but it does mean people who know they will want to place dogs or horse racing bets will want to think twice about signing up to play at Bet MVP.

Esports betting is covered in great detail, however, which will be important for a lot of people. Among the esports available to bet on at Bet MVP's UK sportsbook includes everything from Dota 2 and League of Legends to CS:GO, Call of Duty and Age of Empires. Esports betting is offered both pre-match and live in-play, so Bet MVP is a very good choice for fans of esports. Virtual sports are also becoming more popular at UK online betting sites. The Bet MVP virtuals offering has a lot of depth and anyone interested in this department is sure to be left satisfied.

Various specials can be found at the Bet MVP sportsbook too. Political betting markets from around the world are offered on the site, while it is even possible to bet on the outcome of the Oscars here. People who want to bet on reality TV shows can find markets for the likes of Dancing on Ice too, so there is much more to the Bet MVP sportsbook than its list of sports such as football and golf.

Promotions are a little lacking at Bet MVP at this time, which could make it difficult for this new UK online betting site to attract customers in a competitive field. While there is a welcome bonus available to claim, other free bets and deals are quite thin on the ground. Bet MVP does offer a form of acca insurance, which is now one of the most common promotions at UK betting sites. The acca insurance at Bet MVP involves users getting their stake returned in the event of one selection in an acca with at least six legs letting the side down, which is a solid enough offer.

Unlike many of the best UK online betting sites, there is no live streaming offered at Bet MVP at this time. Most new operators launching in the UK lack live sports streams at first, though, so this should not be counted against Bet MVP. In time, though, this is something that a lot of UK players will be hoping gets added to the Bet MVP sportsbook as a matter of priority.

Odds tend to be reasonable value for most sports, but the prices at Bet MVP are not often consistently ranked among the very best on offer at top football bookmakers, for example. Most casual users will find they get good enough prices at the Bet MVP sportsbook, but people who do not mind taking some time to shop around for the top odds on offer will probably be able to find them elsewhere.

Bet MVP has made a solid start since becoming one of the UK's newest sports betting sites when it was launched in the summer of 2021, but it has work to do to compete with top rivals.

Bet MVP Customer Support Review

Customer support is always an area it is difficult for new UK sports betting sites to get fully right. After all, this department can fall by the wayside with budgets being spent elsewhere instead.

However, it is good to see that Bet MVP has made customer support a high priority. While many other online sports betting sites in the UK lack 24/7 customer service when they launch for the first time, this is already in place at Bet MVP just a few months after the site was set up.

As a lot of UK players like to place their bets overnight, this means they will be able to get the help and support they need regarding any Bet MVP account issues no matter the time of day.

Bet MVP has a live chat facility - which is the first port of call for most UK users seeking customer service these days - and testing found that responses via this method were fast. Email support can also be accessed by sending a message to support@betmvp.co.uk, with Bet MVP customers asked to ensure that they include their name and account number in their message.

Bet MVP customers can also check out the site's Frequently Asked Questions page, which covers a lot of the basics to do with the sportsbook site, such as its minimum bet limits.

BetMVP Payment Methods

Payment methods offered by Bet MVP are strong enough without being quite as comprehensive as the list of approved banking options at some of the top online sports betting sites in the UK.

Players will be familiar by now with credit cards no longer being permitted as a deposit method for online gambling, but debit cards from Visa and MasterCard appear to be missing from the list. This is unusual as almost every betting site these days allows debit cards to be used. UK users can deposit via a Visa or a MasterCard debit card through the SafeCharge option, though.

It is not yet possible to use cryptocurrency to make a deposit at Bet MVP either, which is a shame as a lot of UK players are hoping to be able to play with Bitcoin, Ethereum and so on. PayPal and Neteller top the list of e-wallets that can be used to add some funds to a Bet MVP account, while Trustly and EcoCard wrap up the list of payment methods that are approved.

Deposit and withdrawal limits depend on the payment method that is chosen at Bet MVP, but the smallest amount of funds that can be added to an account on the site is set at just a £5 minimum deposit. Users at Bet MVP are encouraged to stay in control of their spending by putting deposit limits in place.

Withdrawal times are a key area for all UK sports betting sites, with all users wanting to get their hands on any of their winnings as fast as they can. According to Bet MVP, withdrawals are typically paid out between two to three working days, however there could be more delays if ID documentation must be provided due to the UK's firm Anti-Money Laundering legislation laws.
