Appearance and Navigation

At first glance, you can tell Betclic offer a different betting site than most. When on the “Sports” page you can start to see the unique differences. Most other sites have the in-play section down the middle of the page, instead, you are met with “Popular Bets” and “Last Minute bets”. Just below this, you can see the live betting section.

This is where a unique look of Betclic is really noticeable. Instead of the normal list format, you have boxes stacked together and in each box the live game. It is unclear at first to know which sport is which. But after looking closer you can see an image of the sport, for example, the ball used in the sport. It is difficult to understand at first and we honestly prefer the listed format.

However, when you click on the live betting section. It is then clear which games are in which sport. Here they are sorted into sections with the title of the sport being clear. It is necessary with the way they have laid out their in-play section to avoid confusion. All in all, it takes a little getting used to but is filled with the appropriate infographic and in-game stats.

Overall you can see Betclic has a very different approach to other sites. It has its positives and negatives. The positive is when you finally get used to the layout, it actually makes a lot of sense. Everything is easy to find and the markets are clear to see. However, it is hard to understand at first which could put some customers off.

They may be used to the “traditional” layout of live betting but instead are greeted with some questionably designed in-play boxes. Betting Markets

Betclic offer over 20 different sports to choose from. Varying from the most popular such as Football. To the less popular like Futsal. They provide a respectable amount of markets to choose from. On a Saturday there may be as many as 10,000 different bets on offer. It isn’t as many as some other competitors but still, they provide a wide variety of choice when selecting your bet.

Focusing on the Football market. There are over 150 different leagues to choose from. That is a huge amount of choice when selecting your bet. There is a fair amount of depth in the betting markets too. With some featured games having over 150 different pre-game markets to choose from. Sadly this is not even throughout the leagues with some having as little as 16 pre-game markets. We would like to see the “smaller” games have more depth but overall is it satisfactory.

Where Betclic really shines is their “Colossus” feature. In this one of a kind market, you can win incredible jackpots from normal to hard acca’s. If you staked £2 on a 5 team acca on any other site you would come nowhere close to winning their jackpot of £5000.

Live Betting

As said before, the live betting format is very unique. It can be hard to understand at times, but when selecting and placing a bet the process is very convenient. Additionally, whilst live betting the odds change right up to the 90th minute.

There is a calendar that will give you an idea of what games are coming next. Similarly, games that are on soon, appear to the right of the live games in order of the starting time. To help you know, the games have a countdown which is a handy feature.

Mobile Betting

Betclic has a great mobile site but the betting apps needs a fair amount of work. It is slow and is a totally different layout than all their other designs. If you want to use Betclic on your devices we do not recommend downloading their app. But their mobile site is great and of course free to use on all devices.

Betclic has a unique layout and design, to say the least. It uses boxes instead of a list format to organise their events and sports. Its easier to see it yourself than trying to explain how it looks but, it is rather clunky and hard to understand on a desktop.

However, it actually works really well on their mobile site descending in a single column. Instead of a row of 6 boxes together on their desktop site which can be pretty hard to read or even understand.

On their mobile site, you will find plenty of great quick links to help you find your event faster. Betclic organises content by their “top” or most popular events. You can view either their top competitions, top sports or top bets of the day for faster bet selection.

But, if you are looking for a more obscure event, simply scroll down on the sports tab to see their full A-Z sports list. Or, if you want to bet in-play head to their “now” tab and you can see all the live events on at that time. Here you can also filter by date, sport or whether you can cash out or use their multi plus features.

In conclusion, Betclic is very impressive. They provide a unique site featuring all the major sporting events around the world. Their one of a kind Colossus feature is incredible which gives you the chance to win big.

Adjusting the live betting market to make things clearer would be a plus. However, once you get to used to the design its no problem at all.
