Appearance and Navigation
The 21Bet design is simplistic but clear and easy to navigate. Firstly, it is in no way the prettiest of sites but its extremely functional. Secondly, in the same fashion as other competitors. The list of sports is in a drop-down box to the left with the quick links along the top of the page. In spite of the similarities, I noticed how fluid the navigation around the site felt. Everything was an easy click or mouse movement away which is always a plus.
There seems to be an emphasis on the Horse Racing markets. For example, in the list of next events, 3 horse races were up next. Combined with a list of Today’s, Tomorrows and Future races just below. In comparison, there are only two Football matches alongside all the Horse Racing adverts. This is great for Horse Racing fanatics but not so much for other sports.
For this reason, I had a closer look at other Sports to compare. Firstly, in the selected Sport (Apart from Horse Racing) it is hard to tell which League/Competiton the game is part of. Secondly, they are all just listed in one long list with no subheadings providing the necessary information.
Overall I feel there needs to be better organisation whilst navigating through the different sports. Again, categorisation by competition and league is essential for easy reading and clarity. Although it is clearer in the In-play section, you can see the Competition/League of the match. Altogether the rest of the matches are labelled by day in one long list.
However, they do have a list of the “All Competitions” but you need to scroll down and look at the right-hand side of the site. In fact, it’s in quite a poor place with it being fairly hard to locate.
Live Betting and Streaming
21Bet have a respectable 20+ sports to choose from with most of the popular sports and a few niche sports in the mix. In spite of this their market depth leaves a lot to be desired. I can only see 47 markets for pre-game betting in the Europa League final. On average you can expect to see well over 100+ different markets for pre-game betting. Hence a slight bit of disappointment in terms of choice whilst looking for a bet.
With Live betting, there seems to be a little bit of improvement. All the expected markets are there to be seen, although it would be great to see a bit more depth.
Be that as it may, 21Bet have a pretty awesome infographic filled with tons of information when live betting. In fact, it is up there as one of the most comprehensive infographics I have come across. You can find the typical event stats and event incidents. However, you also have access to the League Table, Top Scorers, Card stats, previous form and head to head stats and many more. At the time of this review, I can see no live streaming options.
In conclusion, the information provided in the infographic goes a long way. But the market depth is an issue that needs improving along with a live streaming feature. A better alternative for live streaming could be Unibet or for more depth William Hill.
21Bet has a few issues on both their mobile platforms. You will most likely encounter bugs like links not loading or being extremely slow or sometimes taking you to the wrong page altogether.
If possible use their desktop site. But, if you only have access through your device the mobile site is the better option. Firstly, you can get access to a menu and their customer service. Secondly, the app only has an image of the sport on their live section whereas the site has the name of the sport and the image. It may sound trivial but it makes all the difference when skimming through their live section.
Lastly, the mobile site is easier to navigate and uses a much better design than the app. That being said, both have similar bugs and loading issues whereas their desktop site runs a lot smoother.
The 21Bet Support Service is second to none. Players can speak to a live agent’s 24/7 including holidays such as Easter and Christmas. They offer a very friendly, personalized service, and all you have to do to get started is to go to chat and enter your name and email.
21Bet has an exceptional amount of promotions rewarding both new and existing customers. In the Sportsbook, it combines these great promotions and awesome welcome offer to provide an exciting and potentially profitable experience. The design is simple and easy to navigate but I can’t help but wish for more market depth when betting in play and pre-game. Also adding live streaming would be a great feature. 21Bet is only two years old, but it leaves a lasting impression as a solid Sportsbook.
