William Hill has a tasty looking offer for tonight’s big clash in Rome. Mohamed Salah to score first at 4/1 could be a prove to be a wise bet. The in-form Egyptian has scored 43 goals this season with no sign of slowing down. He scored two delightful goals in last weeks clash and provided two assists, setting a new Champions league semi-final record. It was, however, shortly equalled when Roberto Firmino provided the same. Liverpool ran riot for the most of the game (until Salah was subbed) and I expect tonight’s performance to equal the high intensity from the start. If Liverpool really wants to put this tie to bed, they need to score at least one away goal tonight. With Liverpool playing at full speed I expect Salah to be the man for them tonight. He is back at his old stomping ground with a point to prove.
Conversely, Roma will be looking to get an early goal and with Dzeko being the first AS Roma player to score in four consecutive Champions League games. Both Dzeko and Salah to score anytime (90 mins) at an enhanced odds at 3/1 could be a safer looking bet. I believe this will be a high scoring game with both teams scoring, so the teams most in-form players stepping up seems likely. Roma proved how formidable they can be at the Stadio Olimpico the previous round defeating Barcelona 3-0. However, I do not think such feat can be replicated and I see Liverpool scoring at least one goal.
If you are a Liverpool faithful, or just appreciate the beauty of Salah this season, his 4/1 to score first is a good looking bet. However, if you’re cautious, and believe Roma could push for that early goal, making it a very nervous night for Liverpool fans around the world. Dzeko and Salah to score anytime at 3/1 is a bet worth your time. Regardless I believe this will be a thrilling game to watch with goals looking likely.
