The in-form Hornets host the troubled Red Devils in Saturday’s late kickoff, and we can see it being a goal fest. Watford are playing brilliantly at the moment, winning all four of their matches, while scoring 2 or more goals in each match. United have been struggling since their opening win against Leicester, but I don’t think they will fail to score in this one.
In their previous H2H meetings, both teams have scored in all three of their meetings at Vicarage Road, in which there were over 2.5 goals in each. The past three results are 2-4, 3-1 and 1-2. Watford are probably the best they have been for a while and will be licking their lips at the chances of a United scalp this Saturday. But, United will not make it easy for them, that’s for sure.
Watford are averaging 2 goals at home this season, but 1.6 goals overall. United have scored four goals away from home, 2 goals in each match. And the usual average around 1.4 goals on the road. The average goals in their H2H meetings sit at 2.8 goals.
Everton welcome bottom of the table West Ham, and we have a feeling this is going to be a great game to watch. The Hammers have been dreadful in every aspect of the game, which will be great for an Everton team that scores an average of 1.7 goals at Home, and probably more against this West Ham team. West Ham usual average 1.4 goals on the road, but that is a lot lower this season.
They have managed just the two goals so far, but we think they could get a goal against an Everton team that cannot keep a clean sheet. They have conceded in every game so far, including a cup match against Rotherham at home. There has been over 2.5 goals in every match apart from last weeks 1-1 draw against Huddersfield, but that wasn’t a surprise.
Everton are without Richarlison in this match, but Theo Walcott loves a goal against the Hammers. He has scored six PL goals against West Ham, more than against any other team. We can see both teams scoring in this match, but Everton could also run riot and score three themselves. Either way, we think over 2.5 goals will land in this one.
