Leeds are currently at the top of the table after their 3-0 victory against Reading last night, but, Norwich can go back to the top with a result in this match.
The race for a top-two finish is heating up, and Sheffield United also won three points last night, despite being down to ten men from the 35th minute.
But, Norwich should go back on top tonight, as they look to continue their fine form against an inconsistent Hull City side.
Hull are no walkovers, but they are struggling on the road this season, losing their last four away games in a row, while drawing the other.
Hull did go through a solid period on the road in late 2018, but that form has shown no sign of turning up for this game.
In fact, Hull have conceded two or more goals in their last five away matches to a total of 15 goals.
Meanwhile, Hull have scored just three goals in that game, and they come up against a Norwich side are capable of scoring quite a few goals at home.
Norwich have scored 12 goals in their last five home games, but they do tend to concede goals too. Only keeping six clean sheets in their 18 games.
Norwich have scored 38 goals in their 18 matches at home this season, and I struggle to see Hull keeping their at bay tonight.
I can actually see Preston getting a result in this game, but I am going to play it safe for the tasty treble tonight, and I still see good value in Preston scoring a goal at 7/10.
Middlesbrough lost their last home game 2-1 against Brentford, and they come up against a Preston side that have won their last five away games in a row.
Boro do have a capable and shrewd defense, but I do see Preston getting a goal tonight, and potentially even a shock win.
Preston have scored in their last six away games, and in twelve of their last fourteen away games.
Again, Middlesbrough have a defensive mentality under Pulis, and they are often hard to breakdown.
But, they will want to get a result in this match to ensure they stay in the running to finish in the playoffs.
How will West Brom perform without Darren Moore at the helm? Honestly, I hope they struggle now.
I personally think it is outrageous to fire a manager that has led this team to fourth in the table with just 12 games left.
Yes, they have failed in their last three games, losing to promotion rivals Sheffield United and Leeds while drawing to a dismal Ipswich side.
But, he deserved to lead his team into the playoffs.
That being said, his team’s defensive vulnerabilities were certainly an issue.
West Brom have conceded in all but two of their home matches this season (Wigan and Millwall), and I see that trend continuing even without Darren Moore.
But, the Baggies are still strong going forward, with one of the best-attacking teams in the league.
They score an average of 1.89 goals a game, and I see them scoring a few here tonight against a Swansea side that have conceded nine goals in their last five away trips.
Still, Swansea have scored in 10 of their last 12 away games, and I see them getting on the scoresheet tonight against a West Brom side that often struggle at the back.
